Yue Tingfeng's face blushed. "Mom, what are you talking about? When was I…"

Yue Tingfeng cleared his throat. "Mom, why are you asking about this, you tell me now, why are you here?"

Helan Xiuse said quickly, "Brother Tingfeng, I'm traveling here with aunty, the tour guide booked this place for us to stay in as this is apparently a pretty good hotel. But to me, this… isn't that great."

Yue Tingfeng glared at Helan Xiuse and ignored her. 

He said to Madam Yue, "Mom, go do whatever you're supposed to do, I need to go out for something, don't interrupt me."

Yue Tingfeng said as he grabbed Madam Yue's arm and prepared to close the door. 

Madam Yue pursed her lips. "Son… You keep getting chased out of there, aren't you embarrassed? Even if you're thick-skinned enough, I'm embarrassed for you."

Yue Tingfeng's face blushed even more. There was nothing more humiliating than having one's own mother watch himself getting kicked out of bed by a woman. He did not need a mirror to tell how horrible he looked right now — an unwashed face and uncombed hair while wearing clothes from yesterday.

Yue Tingfeng lowered his head and shouted, "Mom…"

The door was opened all of a sudden. "What are you all making noise about out here, go get the pills."

Yan Qingsi wrapped herself with the blanket and her hair was messy. Her shoulders were bare, and there were hickeys all over her neck thanks to Yue Tingfeng. She looked like she just got out of bed. 

Everyone was stunned — even Madam Yue. 

She was stunned for a while as well before saying, "Aunty… you…"

Yue Tingfeng snapped out of it and blocked Yan Qingsi with his body. She dared to go out while being wrapped in a blanket and let everyone see her in that state. He shoved her back into the room and said, "Who let you out of there, go in, quick…"

Madam Yue said immediately, "Qingsi, I'm here after a long journey, aren't you going to invite me in?"

Yan Qingsi had not realized what she was doing. She said, "Oh… then… come in."

Yue Tingfeng grabbed Madam Yue by her hand to stop her. "No going in, mom, don't you start any trouble now. Qingsi, go in and sleep, I'll be back in a bit." He turned around and said to Little Xu and Helan Xiuse angrily, "What are you looking at?"

Helan Xiuse flinched after getting yelled at. She stood behind Aunt Wu. 

Madam Yue pursed her lips. "What are you yelling for? Do you want everyone to know that you were taken advantage of?"

Yue Tingfeng broke down. "Mom, you're still going on about it…"

Madam Yue replied, "Let me in then."

"No."

While Madam Yue was not paying attention, Yue Tingfeng pulled her out of there and slammed the door shut. 

Yan Qingsi was stunned in the room. After some time, she hugged the blanket and walked back to the bed. Who cares about you? I want to go back to sleep.

Yue Tingfeng finally let out a sigh of relief. "Mom, go find your room, I have things to do."

He turned around and walked after that — but after taking two steps, he heard knocks on a door from behind him. He turned around again to find Madam Yue knocking on the room door. 

Yue Tingfeng clenched his jaw. He pulled Madam Yue and said, "Mom, what are you doing?"

Madam Yue said innocently, "I want to communicate with the little vixen who took advantage of my son."

Yue Tingfeng said through gritted teeth, "No… I wasn't taken advantage of, okay?"

Sometimes, he wondered if she was really his biological mom. Why did she need to insult her own son in front of everyone? Why couldn't they have a good relationship with each other?

Madam Yue looked at the door. "But you were kicked out of bed and out of the room, weren't you?"
