My wife

Ming wanted to get up but her legs felt weak. She wanted to say something but her throat felt dry. She couldn't understand what was happening. Why would her fiancé walk towards her sister? Why would he refuse to take her hand? 1

Several unanswered questions kept on running inside her head making her feel muddleheaded. 

Giving his daughter a hand, Father Xie helped her up. 

"Ming are you fine?" Looking at her father with teary eyes, Ming lowered her head and started sobbing.

"What a painful scene, isn't it?" Yurin asked before walking towards them. 

"How does it feel to see your dearest eldest daughter in such a miserable state? Sad? Heartbroken?" Yurin asked.

Looking at her sister, Ming asked, "You and Siquan-"

Cutting her off, Yurin smirked, "Since the very beginning elder sister."

Wiping her tears away, Ming frowned and asked, "What do you mean?" Ming couldn't understand what Yurin was trying to say and she wanted to know.

Just then Chen Siquan stepped forward and wrapped his arms around Yurins waist. Giving Ming a disgusted smile, he mockingly smirked, "You really thought I would marry you? You thought I was interested in you?" Helplessly shaking his head, he added, "Ms Xie surely thinks too highly of herself. You are just a piece of trash and nothing in comparison to my Yurin."

Ming was taken aback after hearing everything. Her body turned stiff and she had no idea why all everyggibg8was happening.

Anger started building up within her when Ming saw Yurin wrap her arms around Siquan's. 

Gritting her teeth, Ming grabbed Siquan's collar and shouted, "Why did you do this? Why? I had really loved you, we have been together for three years now, why would you do this to me? Why? Please Siquan don't-"

Grabbing Ming's hand, Yurin pushed her on the ground and shouted, "Keep your filthy hands away from my husband."

The spectators present inside the hall gasped and started murmuring amongst themselves.

Father Xie, who had been standing beside his elder daughter in a daze, quickly composed himself and pursed his lips. 

Rushing towards his younger daughter, Father Xie threw a tight slap on her face. 

Yurin, who wasn't expecting her father to hit her, stumbled.

As she was trying to balance herself, another tight slap landed in her already swollen cheek.

Not satisfied with the two slaps which he had honoured his disgraceful daughter with, Father Xie raised his hand again but before it could land on her face, Siquan grabbed his hands and pushed him on the ground. "How dare you slap my wife?"
