126 Our Story Continues

Delia’s POV

I was determined to stay by Kral's side until he woke up.

Without Lycan blood, I couldn't feed him blood directly to awaken him, so I had to rely on time and unwavering determination to achieve a positive outcome.

To care for him better, I remained in my wolf form.

My wolf was smaller than his, but it allowed me to embrace him.

We slept entwined together in the cave, day after day.

I stayed with Kral in the cave, while Alen kept a close eye on us. He regularly brought us essential supplies and took some time to chat. From him, I learned that both his and Vivian's love lives were thriving.

Alen had marked Vivian, and she willingly chose to stay in the pack to live with Alen.

As for Bud, Alen mentioned that he found Catherine at the werewolf kingdom border.

He said he wouldn't stand by and let Catherine be forced into things she didn't like anymore. I wasn't sure about their future, but I believed that Bud's determination would lead to his desired outcome.

Seasons came and went. With the arrival of winter, temperatures in the mountains dropped significantly, and snowfall increased.

To conserve energy, I decided it was time to hibernate.

I looked at Kral, cradled in my arms. After a long period of rest, his breathing was no longer as weak, and his heartbeat had grown stronger.

I believed that when our hibernation ended, he would have awakened.

I held him tightly. Before officially entering hibernation, I recalled the first time I met Kral.

Back then, he was still engaged to Bernice, and I, as Alpha's daughter, suffered constant mockery due to my limited abilities and Bernice's exclusion.

I even had to endure Nick's harassment. Kral saved me from that tumultuous environment, giving me a chance to become a better version of myself.

Since being with Kral, I have met many people, some good, some bad. I have experienced numerous challenges, some distressing and others even worse. But no matter what, I was loved by Kral. I became his fiancée. If all went well, I would soon become his wife.

Love has rescued me and changed my life.

"Kral, I can't wait to marry you." Recalling the warmth and happiness of our past, I kissed Kral's face and whispered to him, "Once you wake up, we'll get married, alright?"

Kral, still in his deep slumber, couldn't answer my question, but I believed he had heard it and would gladly agree.

With that in mind, I slowly closed my eyes and began to enter a state of hibernation.

……

A long time passed and I felt a warm sensation licking my face. It felt familiar, and I slowly opened my eyes to find Kral's wolf right in front of me.

He was gently licking my fur, displaying a tender gesture.

"Kral?" My awareness hadn't fully returned, and I couldn't distinguish between dreams and reality.

I asked in a daze, "Is that you?"

"Delia, it's me. I'm awake," Kral responded, stopping his licking. His eyes held a smile as he said, "I feel that my body has recovered. I woke up to find you by my side."

"You're really awake!" As Kral said this, I felt completely alert. "And you're recovered. That's wonderful!"

We embraced each other tightly, continuing to lick each other's fur. While licking his fur, I couldn't help but cry. Kral helped me clean away my tears and said, "Shall we go outside?"

"Sure!" I nodded.

We headed towards the cave's entrance. I noticed that winter had passed, and it was now early spring. The withered trees at the cave entrance had sprouted fresh green leaves, and the ice on the river had started to melt.

The desolation of winter was gradually being replaced by the colors of spring.

Spring had arrived, and everything felt hopeful.

Kral and I walked out of the cave together. We breathed in the fresh spring air with joy. Kral howled towards the sky, and I was infected by his emotions, joining him in howling at the sky.

Our voices attracted nearby werewolves.

They stood at the edge of the cliff, recognizing the powerful howls of the future king and Luna. They, too, were excited, echoing our calls.

The sound reverberated through the valley and carried through the cliffs, filling the entire palace with our united voices.

We quickly returned to the palace, where a doctor examined Kral's health. The results were nothing short of astonishing.

Kral had fully recovered, and not only that, the curse that had plagued him had been lifted. He was now in a position to become the true Lycan King, and this news was met with great excitement in the entire werewolf world.

The palace buzzed with preparations for Kral's coronation ceremony. But Kral was concerned about more than just his coronation.

On the very first day we returned to the palace, he informed everyone that he wanted to marry me during the coronation ceremony.

Two months passed swiftly, and then I discovered yet another piece of wonderful news. I was pregnant!

Kral was overjoyed when he heard this good news. Now that the curse was lifted from him, we could welcome our child into the world without any concerns.

Our child would be born into an environment filled with love and blessings, and the thought of it made me immensely happy.

A month later, with all arrangements in place, Kral's coronation ceremony took place in the grand hall of the palace. He wore a magnificent robe and walked to the center of the hall.

In the presence of many alphas from different packs, Kral donned the crown and, holding the scepter symbolizing his royal power, walked to the balcony of the hall.

There, he greeted the werewolves who had come to witness the ceremony and listened to their cheers.

After the coronation ceremony, Kral, now the king, and I had our wedding ceremony in another banquet hall.

In contrast to the coronation, our wedding ceremony was more relaxed and joyful. Whether they were alphas from various packs or our friends, all were invited to attend. The atmosphere was filled with anticipation.

Due to my early pregnancy and some morning sickness, Kral, concerned about my well-being, simplified the wedding ceremony to just vows, exchanging rings, and a kiss. As we kissed, the room erupted with cheers and applause.

After the brief wedding ceremony, all the guests sat at long tables. Kral and I sat at the head of the table. Male guests sat at Kral's side, while female guests sat at my side.

Everyone enjoyed delicious food, and the banquet hall was filled with the aroma of fine wine and laughter, creating a warm and festive atmosphere.

As I enjoyed the food, I couldn't help but feel a mixture of happiness and gratitude as I looked at the people savoring their meals in front of me.

I noticed Vivian, who was sitting beside me, sharing meaningful glances with Alen, seated at Kral's side.

Their matching engagement rings caught my eye, and I realized that their wedding might not be too far off.

I remembered that Alen's mother was quite conservative and strong-willed, and Vivian wasn't a werewolf.

I wondered if they'd live with Alen's family after marriage, which might not be the most comfortable arrangement for her.

"Vivian, after you and Alen get married, where do you plan to live?" I asked Vivian in a hushed tone.

"Delia, I know what you're thinking. Don't worry, Alen purchased a castle last month. After our wedding, we'll move into the castle," Vivian replied confidently. "He assured me that his family won't interfere in our lives."

"That's great to hear," I said, feeling reassured. 1

"Delia, I'm a bit concerned about Catherine." Vivian glanced at Catherine, seated on her other side, and leaned in to whisper in my ear.

"I wonder how things are between her and Bud."

"Vivian, you're really not great at whispering," Catherine, with her keen hearing, overheard our conversation.

"Bud is my mate, and I don't need to hide that anymore. The king has stripped my father of his power and banished him to the border. I'm ready to start my new life."

"Catherine, congratulations!" Vivian cheerfully responded. "Do you have any plans?"

"I plan to train soldiers with Bud in the military," Catherine looked at me and said, "We've recruited a new batch of recruits and are preparing to train them. Only with a stronger military can our nation become stronger."

"Thank you, Catherine." I gently caressed my pregnant belly and expressed my gratitude.

"Your Majesty, it's the least I can do."

After chatting with Vivian and Catherine, I turned my gaze to Kral, who was seated beside me. As I looked at his handsome profile, a smile naturally formed on my face.

"Delia, what are you smiling about?" King Kral noticed my reaction and turned his head to look at me. He reached out to caress my belly, his hand covering mine resting on my belly. "Is there something that's making you happy?"

"Kral, being with you and our child, that's what makes me happiest," I said, my smile growing even brighter as I met his gaze.

"Me too."

Kral leaned in, and once again, our lips met in a loving kiss...

……

This is our story. Fueled by love, we overcame challenges and uplifted each other. This is just the beginning, as our story continues to unfold...

……

……

300 years later...

"Delia, thanks to you, I've lived a happy and meaningful life." King Kral, with his aged hand, held mine.

I could feel my breath growing weaker. I slowly lowered my head. Memories of our time together played in my mind.

Our first meeting... Our arguments... Our embraces and kisses... Our children...

Now, 300 years later, our lives have reached their end, but our love has never wavered.

"In the next life, we will meet again," Kral said, leaning down to kiss my forehead.

I closed my eyes, a gentle smile on my lips. As my consciousness began to blur, I held onto his words.

Kral, my husband. Wherever our next lives take us, we will meet again and fall in love.

"Do you also wish to see him again?" A gentle female voice spoke as my breath was about to fade.

Who are you? Are you the Moon Goddess?

I felt a gentle hand take mine. My body began to feel weightless, even floating in the air.

I looked down and saw my lifeless body lying in the bed, with Kral holding me, tears streaming down his face.

My soul wept as well.

"You will meet again, as long as your love remains steadfast," the Moon Goddess said, holding my hand as we floated further away.

"In the next life, you'll be a princess. Go on, seek your husband."

My vision darkened, and I lost all sensation and consciousness.

Kral, I'm grateful to have been your wife in this life. Please wait for me.

...

Three days later, King Kral arrives at the royal burial grounds, cradling the lifeless body of Queen Delia. The king had passed peacefully with no illness. Their son would ascend the throne.

They lay side by side in the burial grounds, like the loving couple they were.
