Yan Jinyi abruptly turned her head to glare at Huo Xishen, her gaze full of murderous aura.

'This jerk, I'll definitely kick you away once I regain my glory! Even Huo Zihang and Huo Chengyu are cuter than you!' 

When she returned home at night, she was surprised to find that both Huo Zihang and Huo Qingyuan were not at home. 

"Go to bed, Darling, I still have some work to do."

Huo Qingyuan had been abnormally obedient at school lately and even her teachers were touched by her obedience.

Seeing how enthusiastic Yan Jinyi was about helping others, Huo Qingyuan felt that she could not fall behind. As soon as class ended and she received the news about Huo Xishen going home, Huo Qingyuan packed up quickly. She was more than twice as fast as she normally was. 

"Qingyuan, since we got off class early today, our classmates are planning to go for a meal together, do you want to come along?" 

Huo Qingyuan had been rather mellow and amicable lately, thus many of her classmates would take the initiative to talk to her and ask her out. 

Looking at the student counsellor at the side and her classmates who were all staring at her, Huo Qingyuan resolutely declined. 

She thought that Yan Jinyi would come home together with Huo Xishen and if she didn't go home earlier, Huo Zihang would definitely slander her in front of them! 

"I'll pass. You guys go ahead, it'll be my treat."

Huo Qingyuan patted her chest generously. 

"That doesn't seem appropriate, you're not going..." "It's alright, just order under my name," Huo Qingyuan said as she took out a membership card of a certain restaurant. 

The student counsellor took the card and looked at the name of the restaurant on the card, only to be stunned. 

It was a famous restaurant in the city and since there were so many of them, the meal would definitely cost at least tens of thousands of yuan! 

"No, this place is too expensive, we'll go have barbecued meat or something..."

Just as the student counsellor was about to hand the card back to Huo Qingyuan, she suddenly said sternly, "It'd be such a joke if I can't afford to treat you guys to a meal. Just go ahead, I have to get going now." 

As she spoke, she picked up her bag and slung it on her shoulder before leaving suavely. 

Her back view resembled that of Yan Jinyi when she was leaving after a fight. 

When she passed by the ladies' bathroom, she heard the sounds of a girl shrieking, followed by the contemptuous laughter of a few other girls. 

She knew clearly what they were doing in the washroom. 

She had encountered such incidences before and the victim had even asked her for help but she simply ignored them. 

But now... 

Yan Jinyi's face suddenly appeared in her head. 

'If Second Sister-in-law was here, she'd definitely beat them up into a pulp, right? I should earn the reward banner of being a helpful person, and show it to Second Sister-in-law!' Huo Qingyuan clenched her fists and placed her school bag in a corner of the walls before taking a big step forward to kick the door of the bathroom open. 

There was chaos in the bathroom. 

There was a girl with an unkempt appearance huddled up in the corner, her clothes all tattered and torn, revealing her black undergarment. The four or five girls standing around her were obviously ignoramus gangsters. One of them was even taking photos of the victim with her cell phone camera.  

Perhaps because they didn't expect Huo Qingyuan to suddenly appear, they were all stunned. 

"Aren't you people afraid of being expelled for bullying someone in school?" The girl who was taking the photos immediately shoved her cell phone into her pocket and said with a cigarette in her mouth, "Hey, aren't you Miss Huo?"
