Chapter 179 - Dear one, I want you to know that I will never give up on you

Robin thought about Mara's disguise, wondering if her brother knew about it from her public appearance, the fact that he was able to hide it very well from Sabrina. 0

Well, since Mara was making the mistake of showing her face in public, Robin was sure to use it to his advantage.

"Can you send a spy to Martin's mansion? Have them pose as a maid or something. I have a feeling that Mara lives with him and we won't require the hacker."

When Robin wants something, he would always find a way to get it. His only weakness was Sabrina and Daniel agreed that his words made a lot of sense.

"You have a point but I tried it before and they refused to employ the maid sent, saying there was no vacancy."

Robin went into deep thought again. He had the money and the only thing money could never buy was love. As for investigating Mara and bringing her to her knees for her several attempts on Sabrina's life, Robin was not taking it kindly.

"Then have some of their maids kidnapped when they are off duty. We can pay them enough to relocate to a different country or state." 

"When they run short of maids at the mansion, they would have no choice but to recruit more." 

"If they are hiring from an agency, then we shall infiltrate the agency and make sure our spies are the ones sent to them."

Robin was leaving no stone unturned and Daniel was amazed. 

"Robin, that is a smart idea but let me try it again. I could even have him or her plant a secret camera for me."

"Good."

Robin was about to end the call when Daniel thought to remind him so his time would not be disturbed tomorrow.

"I will work on it but I'm preparing for my date with Lizzy tomorrow."

Robin smiled. He wished that just like Daniel, he would have stopped all his affairs with women when he got married. He would not have been in the situation he was in now.

"All the best Dan, and please put in a word for me to Sabrina."

"I will."

As soon as Robin parked the car, he was about to alight to go and knock on the door when Sabrina stepped out of the mansion and began to walk towards him. 

He could not tell whether he was late or she was just too early.

As he stepped out to open the door for her, his phone began to ring. Checking the caller ID, it was Zayla. Robin smirked but did not answer it, knowing she would come to the office. 

His curiosity to know Kennedy's thought was at its peak but Sabrina mattered to him most for the fact that she did not like his interaction with Zayla.

"Good morning, dear one, you look gorgeous," Robin greeted politely and opened the car door for her. 

Sabrina rolled her eyes, wondering where from all the niceness.

Her ex-husband was showing her a different side of himself every day and she could not help wondering why.

"Good morning, Robin, can we go now?"

Sabrina did not like her time with him and was always eager to leave his side. 

Robin knew it but felt that even the little time he spent with her was undeserved for which reason he was very much appreciative of it.

"What are your plans today? I can help you in any way you know?"

Robin was in a good mood because Sabrina was sitting by his side. Whilst he drove, he would cast frequent glances her way, admiring the beauty he threw away.

"Robin, I don't need your help."

Sabrina had a way of killing whatever excitement registered on his face but this time around, Robin was ready for it and did not allow her sometimes harsh words to have any impact on his ambitions.

"I can even run errands for you," he smirked and winked, Sabrina shook her head, lost as to exactly what was happening to give him all this excitement. 

Then again, a thought crossed her mind, "Wait, are you hitting on your ex-wife?"

Robin was shameless enough to not deny it. "I'm also a man and I will be the best candidate since we already have a child together," he smirked again.

Sabrina was grateful that she carried her cordless earpiece along for times like this. 

She quickly plugged them into her ears and Robin shook his head, knowing she was ending the conversation.

Not until after they arrived at his office before Sabrina unplugged the earpieces from her ears. Robin did not immediately unlock the car door when they arrived but rather turned to face her, looking at her with honesty,

"Sabrina, I just want you to know that I'm sorry for everything I did to you and I wish you could give me the chance to correct it."

Sabrina laughed and shook her head. Robin was proud but was asking her for a second chance. Sadly, her mind had no room for him.

"Robin, forgiveness is mine to give but entering into whatever kind of relationship with you is not an option. If that is the reason why you keep coming here every day, then please stop."

Robin was not expecting her to accept it anyway. It was a start for him and he was happy to have conveyed his intentions. 

He knew that even though she refused to take him back, it would still be on her mind and she would continue thinking about it.

"Dear one, I want you to know that I will never give up on you. Even on my dying bed, I will shout to the world that I want my ex-wife back."

Sabrina was not expecting this and she did not seem ready for him. Maybe, he would get fed up if he realizes how serious she is.

"Let's see for how long you can keep this up. I am only tolerating your presence because of our unborn child."

When she was ready to step out, Robin was not satisfied. He wanted some form of intimacy and the only way was to use the one thing he had the right to.

"Can I touch it?"
