Chapter 20 - Zhu Zhuqing

John was now on his way to the academy.

After a running for a while, John arrived on the field but there's no sign of any teachers. John looked around and saw Tang San's group and finally remembered that today was the day Oscar will broke through.

Tang San's group also saw John. The mood then became awkward as they still remember what happened last night.

"What happened today, why is it too quiet?" John jokingly said while smiling.

Dai Mubai had no clue about what happened last night. He just looked at John while thinking that he was sent to monitor him.

Ning Rongrong on the other hand was very silent and just lowered her head.

For class today they still had the Dean Flender. John and others had waited for no less than a quarter hour before Dean Flender came strolling along.

Flenders gaze first fell on Ning Rongrong and then to John, but he did not say anything. He then said "Today is your second class. What about Oscar? Did he sleep in again?"

Tang San hurriedly said "When I left this morning he was still cultivating, perhaps his meditation couldn't be broken in time."

Flender frowned "For today's class we can't start without him. Tang San, you go call him over."

Tang San was just about to return to the dorms when he saw Oscar hurriedly come running from the dorm. However, on his face was no panic from arriving late, instead brimming with excitement.

"Oscar, do you want to run laps again?" Dean Flender glared at him.

Oscar hastily shook his head, "No, Dean please listen to my explanation. I broke through, I reached thirtieth rank."

"What?" Not only Flender, everyone aside from John filled with astonishment, they then turned to him simultaneously including Ning Rongrong who was very shocked by his breakthrough.

Flender's eyes distinctly shone, saying "Good, good, good, Oscar, you haven't let me down. You are among the current students the second to reach thirtieth rank. I congratulate you on behalf of the Academy."

Dai Mubai and the others also congratulate Oscar.

Minutes later,

"Right, today's class will begin now." Flender's voice pulled everyone back from congratulating little Ao.

"Today's class is very simple. Oscar, you have today's leading role. Today's course, is for each of you apart from Oscar, must eat at least one of the sausages produced by Oscar's spirit power."

Xiao Wu and the others expressed unwillingness after hearing Flender's words but the Dean then explained what's the purpose of this class.

Oscar then distributed a lot sausages. Others were still reluctant but still ate. John on the other hand was smiling after hearing the notification sounds.

After eating for a while, Flender nodded satisfied, saying "Good, you have all passed today's lesson. Now, all of you return to prepare, you have one day's time to adjust and rest. Early tomorrow you will all set out on a journey. Teacher Zhao Wuji will lead you to Star Dou Great Forest to help Oscar obtain his third spirit ring. Good, dismissed."

Everyone then returned to their own dorm. Zhu Zhuqing on the other hand did not leave. She looked at John while still having a conflicted look.

"Why did you not leave?" John asked Zhu Zhuqing while looking at her.

"Can you really help me?" Zhu Zhuqing replied while looking back at John.

"I can" John then moved closer to Zhu Zhuqing and held her chin.

Zhu Zhuqing blushed after what John did. She then looked between John's eye and lips.

John just smiled by Zhu Zhuqing's reaction. He then said "I will make you stronger. Follow me."

John then leave and head outside the academy. Zhu Zhuqing hesitated for a bit before deciding to follow.

After they were already far enough from the academy, John then stopped.

"What are we gonna do here?" Zhu Zhuqing said while blushing because she thought something different in her mind.

'System, is there a skill which I could transfer some of my skills to other people?' John asked the system while looking at Zhu Zhuqing.

Zhu Zhuqing after seeing John's gaze blushed and stepped back a little.

'Show it to me' John ordered.

Upon hearing, John then moved closer to Zhu Zhuqing.

Zhu Zhuqing was surprised when John finally started to moved.

When John was close enough to Zhu Zhuqing, he then put his finger on her forehead.

"Do you trust me?" John asked while looking at Zhu Zhuqing.

"Mmm" Zhu Zhuqing hesitated but after a while she still replied but now there was a determination in her eyes.

'Skill Transfer' John then used his newly acquired skill. He chose to transfer some skills he had which are reasonable and suitable for Zhu Zhuqing.

Zhu Zhuqing on the other hand felt an electric shock coming from John's finger. The electric shock did not stop until she's starting to loss consciousness. After absorbing all the information, she then fainted.

John catches Zhu Zhuqing. He then asked 'System, what happened to her?'

[Too much information has been transfered which causes Zhu Zhuqing to pass out.]

John sighed after knowing that Zhu Zhuqing was okay. He then sat down on the ground and make Zhu Zhuqing lean on his chest.

John looked at Zhu Zhuqing and can't help but kissed her forehead.

After a while, Zhu Zhuqing woke up. She then remembered what happened earlier. She looked around and saw that she was on John's chest. She looked up and blushed as she saw John was looking at her.

"How is it?" John asked while smiling. 1

Upon hearing what John said, Zhu Zhuqing then remembered that she had received a lot of information earlier before passing out. She then tried to recall the information in her head and was shocked to know that she now had many skills besides her spirit ring abilities. She looked at John again and then hugged him.

"Thank you" Zhu Zhuqing said while burying her head on John's chest. She did not question how did he do that.

John then put his hand on Zhu Zhuqing's head and caressed it.

Zhu Zhuqing looked up again and meet John's eye. John was also looking at Zhu Zhuqing. It was dead silent after the two stare at each other.

John then instinctly moved his head closer and kissed Zhu Zhuqing's lips. Zhu Zhuqing on the other hand just closed her eyes.

The two had a passionate kiss for a while before John stopped.

John looked at Zhu Zhuqing who was breathing heavily while blushing. Zhu Zhuqing also looked back.

"Zhu Zhuqing, I love you" John said seriously while looking at Zhu Zhuqing. John was actually fond of Zhu Zhuqing despite her cold nature.

Zhu Zhuqing did not reply and just looked at John. She was happy as she heard John's confession. She wanted to say something but John already blocked her lips again.

John kissed Zhu Zhuqing again. But this time was a bit longer because Zhu Zhuqing also cooperated. They kissed passionately for full four minutes before stopping.

"John, I-I already had a fiance" Zhu Zhuqing sadly said while looking at John. She also did have an interest in John despite knowing him just a few a days ago.

"Is it Dai Mubai?" John asked.

"H-How did you know?" Zhu Zhuqing was surprised when John knew who is it.

"Well, I know some information about your family." John replied.

"T-Then." Zhu Zhuqing while having a somewhat sad look on her face.

"Do you still love him?" John asked while moving his hand to caress her cheek.

"Not anymore!" Zhu Zhuqing immediately denied. After only staying for two days. She knew what kinds of dirty works Dai Mubai did for the past few years through Ma Hongjuns words. She felt sad and angry at same time which turn into hate. After that, she then decided to become strong in order to confront and tell her family that she doesn't want to get married to Dai Mubai.

"Then do you love me?" John smiled while looking at Zhu Zhuqing.

"I-I" Zhu Zhuqing can't find any words to answer. They just met and did not have any conversation in these two days but she knew that she was starting to like John everytime she saw him. The only thing that stopping her to love him is that she knew John already had a lover.

John just smiled and then hugged her. "Don't worry, I will make you fall in love with me."

Zhu Zhuqing blushed when she heard John's words. She then hugged John back.

After a while, John then said "How about you follow me to the hotel?"

Zhu Zhuqing blushed once again and then gave a small punch on John's chest "Pervert."

"Hahahaha, what kind of dirty thoughts are on your head. I just wanted to introduce you to my lover." John laughed by Zhu Zhuqing reply.

"Do you really already had a lover?" Zhu Zhuqing asked John. She was still doubting whether John already had one.

"Yeah, In fact I have many" John smilingly said.

"Y-You, are you still not satisfied that you also wanted me in your harem. Scumbag." Zhu Zhuqing said with slight anger knowing that John had a lot.

"Hehehe, but why can I feel that you're already falling in love with me." John amusingly said.

Zhu Zhuqing blushed after remembering what she said. She punched John's chest again while her cheeks are getting red.

John hugged her again and then said "Don't worry, I won't dissapoint you."

Zhu Zhuqing felt warmth from John's words. She then buried her head in John's chest.

Minutes passed, John broke the hugged and said "How about you practice and master the skills I passed onto you."

"Mmm" Zhu Zhuqing replied. She also wanted to master it early so that it could help her in the battle.

The two then stood up. They decided to spar to make Zhu Zhuqing familiarize it faster. They spar for about an hour before stopping.

"John, how strong are you now?" Zhu Zhuqing asked curiously.

"Hmmm, 95 ranked Titled Douluo and below were not my opponent." John replied confidently.

Zhu Zhuqing was shocked to know John's true power but she also had another question "Then, how can you hide your true power?"

"Well, it's also skill of mine." John replied and then moved closer to Zhu Zhuqing. He then summoned a towel and wiped the sweat and dust on Zhu Zhuqing.

Zhu Zhuqing was starting to get familiar with John's tenderness. She just closed her eyes and let him be.

"You go back to your dorm and rest as we still had a mission tomorrow." John then said.

"Mmmm." Zhu Zhuqing replied.

John then moved closer and kissed for the last time. Zhu Zhuqing kissed back.

After kissing for about 2 minutes they finally stopped.

"Goodbye" Zhu Zhuqing immediately leave without stopping after they kissed. But you can see how happy she was while running.

John just looked at her back while smiling. He then leave and head back to the hotel.

----Early the next morning----

Everyone did not have too many things they could prepare in one day, and early the second day, after eating breakfast, as everyone gathered on the grounds, Zhao Wuji was already there waiting for them.

Seeing Zhao Wuji, the students were all somewhat stunned, wanting to laugh but not daring to smile.

Zhao Wuji indeed looked in a sorry state, on his face at least three bluish black bruises had not yet faded, especially his left eye looked like a panda, making people unable to help laughing.

John just thought if somehow he watched the battle between Zhao Wuji and Tang Hao he might picked up their skills. He sighed and then said 'Well, I will picked up some in this mission, Hehehehe'

After a while, Zhao Wiuji then let Dai Mubai lead the team.

Dai Mubai explained for a while and then said "Everyone let's head out."

John and the others then start their journey.
