Chapter 28 - Qian Renxue

Heaven Dou Empire imperial capital Heaven Dou City, at the heart of northeastern Heaven Dou Empire, it was the core of all of Tian Dou's political power, also one of the two largest cities on the Continent. On Douluo Continent, only Star Lou Empire's imperial capital could match it.

Although the two great Empires' subordinate Kingdoms and Duchies weren't too accepting of control, they were still part of the Empires. In a famous restaurant in Heaven Dou City,

"Your Royal highness, I want to invite you to meet someone who's very interesting." Ning Fengzhi said while looking at the person in front of him.

"Ohhh, someone actually caught the attention of the teacher?" The young man replied while looking at Ning Fenzhi. The young man was good looking with a straight nose and square mouth together with his pale silver-gold hair and clear teal eyes, wearing white robes which he exudes an aura of extraordinary charisma, giving off a fresh and cool feeling.

"Your Royal Highness, I just knew about him months ago. I already let Uncle Jian invite him here and they might probably on their way now if nothing happens." Ning Fengzhi said. He was actually also excited to see John in person.

"Ohhh, then let me see what kind of person the Teacher is interested to." the young man replied while starting to get interest in the person Ning Fengzhi want to introduce to him

The young man then started asking Ning Fengzhi about the person he was interested.

----One week later----

After travelling non-stop, John and the others were now in the outskirts of Heaven Dou Empire.

Uncle Jian was observing John from the day they travelled until now but nothing really special happened.

While they were now heading towards the city gate, a man suddenly get closed to them.

The man told Uncle Jian that instead of coming towards their clan, they just have to head towards the restaurant Ning Fengzhi was fond of.

Upon hearing, they then start heading towards the restaurant. John just followed them while smiling as this was probably the first step towards his mission.

Inside the restaurant,

Ning Fengzhi and a young man were waiting in the private room when suddenly a knocked could be heard outside.

When it opened, they saw Uncle Jian together with a handsome youth.

Ning Fengzhi then recognized John as he also had a portrait of him. He then let John sit and Uncle Jian immediately leave as John asked a favor to protect Zhu Zhuqing and Sia.

"It's an honor to meet Prince Xue Qinghe and Clan Master Ning Fengzhi" John greeted them while smiling.

Xue Qinghe and Ning Fengzhi were shocked as this was their first meeting but John actually know their name and affiliations. This were also their first time seeing such a handsome man in their life.

"You're really interesting." Ning Fengzhi asked. He was really sure that John was really extraordinary just by looking at his appearance and demeanor.

Xue Qinghe on the other hand just looked at John and thought 'How could such a handsome man live in this continent'

John just smiled and looked at Xue Qinghe and Ning Fengzhi.

"Can I call you John?" Ning Fengzhi asked while looking at John.

"It's okay." John replied.

"Then, let me apologise first for the trouble my clansmen brought to you last time." Ning Fengzhi said while slightly bowing his head.

"Well, it's just a small matter." John replied while waving his hand.

"Then, what is actually your purpose upon seeing me." John directly asked while looking at them.

"How about we eat first and then have a talk later." Ning Fengzhi proposed. Xue Qinghe just sat and did not talk.

John thought for a second before talking to Sia via telepathy.

After eating for a while, Ning Fengzhi then asked "Is Ning Rongrong doing good at the academy?"

John looked at Ning Fengzhi and replied "Yeah, she was starting to change and become a better person."

Ning Fengzhi smile after hearing John's answer. He then asked again "John, if you don't mind answering, why were leaving Suotuo City? As I heard, you're academy were invited to join Heaven Dou Imperial Academy."

"Well, the Academy won't make us stronger anymore, so we decided to leave." John replied truthfully while eating.

Ning Fengzhi just looked at John. He knew that John was hiding his true power for some reason. From the information he gathered, John's history were very limited. His purpose was also unknown.

"Then, what's your purpose that even the prince was here to meet me?" John smiled while asking Ning Fengzhi.

"Well, I'm curious to see you in person." Ning Fengzhi said while smiling.

"Then, you finally see me. What's your plan now?" John amusingly asked.

"We have actually a few questions to ask." Ning Fengzhi replied.

"Ooh, what is it?" John smiled while knowing where this is coming.

"John, Clan Master Ning shared that you're already strong. If I may ask, why bother going to such academy and actually live there for months?" Xue Qinghe curiously asked.

"Hmm, well I want to relaxed a bit and enjoy life." John said while smiling.

Ning Fengzhi and Xue Qinghe did not expect such answer from John.

"Hahahahaha, this is the first time I saw a person like you. You are very interesting." Xue Qinghe replied while laughing.

After a while,

Xue Qinghe became serious and suddenly asked "John, what do you think of the situation of the continent today?"

John then looked at Xue Qinghe and replied "Hmm, and why does it matter to me?"

Xue Qinghe and Ning Fengzhi were surprised with John's answer.

John on the other hand was laughing inside while looking at their expressions.

'Fools, trying to recruit me in your side is just a dream.'

"Well" Xue Qinghe smiled awkwardly.

"If I say, the continent right now was very chaotic." John replied after seeing such expressions.

"Mmmm" Ning Fengzhi nodded.

"So, what was the best solution towards this problem?" Xue Qinghe asked again after hearing John.

John smiled and then said coolly "To have one ruler."

Ning Fengzhi and Xue Qinghe nodded after hearing John's answer. 1

"John, you said earlier that you decided to leave bacause the academy can't make you stronger. So how about following me?, With the help of the empire, I can promise to make you a peerless douluo in the future." Xue Qinghe then directly asked while looking at John with expectation.

Neng Fengzhi on the other was shocked as Xue Qinghe was very direct.

Upon hearing Xue Qinghe, John grinned evilly and said "Which 'You' are you referring to?"

Neng Fengzhi did not understand what's the meaning behind John's words. But Xue Qinghe on the other hand widened his eyes.

Xue Qinghe then frowned and then asked "What do you mean by that?"

"Hahahahaha, I don't know how foolish the emperor was to actually be fooled by someone. I don't know how you do it but it won't work for me." John laughed and said.

"John, be careful with your words" Ning Fengzhi reprimanded John.

John ignored Ning Fengzhi and looked at Xue Qinghe.

"How about it. Which 'you'actually?. Should I call you Prince Xue Qinghe or the super genius Qian Renxue of the Spirit Hall." John smiled while looking at Qian Renxue.

Qian Renxue did not wait any longer and stepped back. Two unknown man then appeared all of the sudden.

Ning Fengzhi was surprised by the sudden turn of events but one thing he was sure about was that John's words must be true.

"How did you know?" Qian Renxue asked while looking at John fiercely. She was shocked after knowing that John actually knew who she really was.

"How about you show your true appearance first." John amusingly said.

Qian Renxue did not answer and just looked at John fiercely. After a while, she then transform to her original appearance. A beautiful woman then appeared before them. She now has a snow white skin, slightly slender phoenix eyes, with a face with somewhat stateliness.

"Y-Your Highness, Y-You!!!." Ning Fengzhi shouted after seeing Prince Xue Qinghe transform into a woman.

John looked at Qian Renxue and can only admire her beauty. He then smiled and asked "Now, do you still want me to come to your side?"

Qian Renxue then looked at John. She then said "John, I don't know your story but If you come to the Spirit Hall side I might spare you today."

"Oohh, are you referring to these two Titled Douluo here?" John smiled while looking at the two unknown man.

Qian Renxue looked at John while frowning. She does not understand why John could still be calm in this situation.

"If you won't side in the Spirit Hall, I could only end your life today. We won't allow you to grow and bear your fangs towards the Spirit Hall someday." Qian Renxue seriously said. She admired John after seeing him today and hopes that he will follow her in the Spirit Hall.

John then calmly stood up and then released his spirit rings and said " I want to see how you end my life today."

Qian Renxue and the others were surprised while looking at the six white spirit rings floating above John.

Qian Renxue cannot believe that someone younger actually was more powerful than her.

"You made youd decision. Then meet your end." Qian Renxue then ordered the two Titled Douluo to attacked John.

The two Titled Douluo then released their spirits. It was actually a Winged Tiger and Four-armed Gorilla beast spirits. They then used a spirit ability to attacked John.

Ning Fengzhi looked in horror after seeing the attacks of two Titled Douluo.

John on the other hand, just smirked and then motioned his hand.

John's spirit ring lighted up and then a dragon came out. John then created a lot of fireballs. The dragon roared and then moved towards the fireballs and then created a barrier big enough to protect the both of them.

The two attacks hit John's barrier and it didn't even break.

Qian Renxue and the two Titled Douluo shocked after seeing the outcome.

Ning Fengzhi on the other were surprised after seeing John saved him.

The restaurant were destroyed by the attack and killed many people.

The commotion then surprised the whole city. Uncle Jian who was protecting Zhu Zhuqing and Sia suddenly left and head towards the commotion.

When Uncle Jian arrived, he was surprised to see John and Ning Fengzhi together with a two man in a spirit beast body enhancement and a beautiful woman.

"Fengzhi, what happened?" Uncle Jian asked Ning Fengzhi beside John.

The arrival of Uncle Jian caused Qian Renxue and the two Titled Douluo to changed their expressions.

"Young Miss, the situation is bad. I don't know how can this boy blocked our attacks but one thing is for sure that he was powerful and together with Chen Xin our chances of killing him today was impossible." The four-armed gorilla spirit master said. The other man also supported.

Qian Renxue was very angry after their long-term plan was actually discovered by John, who he just met today. She didn't thought that by meeting John, her hardwork of disguising as a Prince will be discovered and could only abandoned it and do nothing. She then looked at the commotion they did and thought that the news might already sent to the palace.

"Let's retreat." Qian Renxue decided gritting her teeth while looking at John.

They were about to retreat when suddenly John voice interrupted.

"You really wanted to retreat and decided to abandon your long-term secret mission?" John amusingly said.

Qian Renxue was surprised after knowing that John also knew her secret mission in the Heaven Dou Empire.

"Young miss, we don't have time. Heaven Dou Empire's army might already on their way." the wing-tiger spirit master reprimanded.

Qian Renxue gritted her teeth while looking at John. After a while, they then retreated.

John did not want to kill Qian Renxue. He just wanted to see what will happen if Spirit Hall's plan was discovered earlier. He then smiled and then canceled the barrier.

---Ten minutes later---

Heaven Dou Empire's army arrived, they then saw the destroyed building and several dead bodies.

The leader of the army then head towards Ning Fengzhi after seeing him.

"Greetings, Clan Master Ning Fengzhi, If I may asked, what happened here?" the leader of the army asked.

Ning Fengzhi looked at John. He then looked back at the army leader and said "The Prince Xue Qinghe we knew were actually an impostor."

"What do you mean by that!!?" the army leader angrily shouted because Ning Fengzhi actually accused the Prince as an impostor.

Ning Fengzhi sighed while looking at the expression of the army leader. He then said" It's better to go to the palace and tell His Majesty in person.

Ning Fengzhi then looked at John, saying "John, how about you come with us in the palace."

John just waved his hand and started to head towards the hotel where Zhu Zhuqing and Sia stayed.

Ning Fengzhi could only looked at John's back before going to the palace. Ning Fengzhi then ordered Uncle Jian to immediately protect Ning Rongrong as the continent will be in chaos once again.
