Chapter 31 - Leaving

John and the others were now heading towards the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well.

After running for a while, John and others were now in the vicinity of the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well. John then bought some item which could repell poisons. He then gave them to Zhu Zhuqing and Sia.

"Master, this place is too beautiful."Sia said while observing the the place. They arrived just now.

"This place is called Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well." John said after entering.

"Don't touch cassually because some of them were poisonous." John reprimanded them.

John did not saw Dugu Bo. He then looked at Zhu Zhuqing.

"Zhuqing, come here, I will give you something." John said while summoning some herbs in his inventory.

John took out Daffodil Jade Flesh Bone. He then said "This thing is called Daffodil Jade Flesh Bone. Its function is to soften muscle and mend bone, the clearing the eight extraordinary meridians. Eat this at once and you will see the effect."

John then told Zhu Zhuqing to find a place. Zhu Zhuqing didn't question John at all and find a place and sit crosslegged. She then ate it according to John's instruction.

After Zhu Zhuqing ate the Daffodil Jade Flesh Bone, a layer of faint jade light spread all over her body. Her original crosslegged position changed to standing upright as the medicinal effect released, standing there with both hands crossed over her ample chest, quietly absorbing the medicine.

John looked at Zhu Zhuqing who were now absorbing the Immortal Herb. He chose the original herb Zhu Zhuqing took in the novel.

"Master, what happened to Zhuqing?" Sia asked curiously as she saw Zhuqing ate the herb John gave her.

"Well, I gave her some good stuff that could help her."John answered while smiling at Sia.

"Master, can I also become strong like you?" Sia asked. She also want to become strong and fight alongside John.

John was surprised after hearing Sia. He then asked the System 'System, is there a way to make Sia strong?"

[None, her race and characteristics as a slime unable them to become strong unless an external help could be done.]

John pondered about what the system said. He asked again 'What kind of external help are talking about?"

[The most common external help would be having a system.]

'Ooh' John then think about it for awhile and then looked at Sia.

"Sia, I can help you become strong but not on this world." John answered while looking at her expression.

"Really, Master?" Sia was excited after hearing John's response.

"Yes." John answered while smiling.

Sia then hugged John after knowing that she could become strong.

John hugged back and then they talked while waiting for Zhu Zhuqing to wake up.

In the midst of their waiting, two people arrived just outside the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well.

"Hmmm, there are people inside." The man frowned after knowing that someone actually inside. This person was actually Dugu Bo.

"Yan, come closer to me." Dugu Bo said.

Dugu Yan heard her grandfather and immediately get closer to him.

After arriving inside, Dugu Bo saw John and two other person. He then immediately run ahead and and said "Young Lord, It's nice to see you again."

John already noticed Dugu Bo earlier. He then looked at Dugu Bo and said "Nice seeing you again, Senior Dugu."

Dugu Yan after seeing John was also excited but after seeing an unknown woman beside him. She then frowned.

"Yan, greet the Young Lord immediately." Dugu Bo looked at Dugu Yan.

"John, nice seeing you again." Dugu Yan woke up after hearing her grandfather.

"Yan, what are you saying. You should call the Young Lord Young Master." Dugu Bo reprimanded Dugu Yan.

"It's okay, senior Dugu. I told Yan before to address my name directly." John said while smiling.

Dugu Bo was surprised by John's words. He already knew that his Granddaughter met John in Suotuo City but he did not hear all the details of their meeting. Dugu Bo was happy inside after thinking that maybe John and his granddaughter were close already.

Dugu Bo then looked at the girl beside John and the girl who was meditating. He then asked "Young Lord, who might this beautiful women would be?"

"Oohh, this is Sia and Zhu Zhuqing, my lovers." John answered.

Dugu Bo was surprised after hearing that both of them were John's lovers. He then thought that Dugu Yan might have a chance to become John's woman too. He then looked at Dugu Yan and saw her looking at John while blushing. Dugu Bo then smiled.

"Actually, I am here to meet you." John said while looking at Dugu Yan.

Dugu Yan blushed more after hearing John.

"I will leave for a while and probably be back for a few years. I decided to help you first before leaving." John said and then summoned the other Heaven's Tear in his inventory.

Dugu Bo was ready to beg John to have another vial of the medicine to help Dugu Yan. But after seeing John summoning the vial, his eyes widened. He smiled and then thought that maybe the relationship between his granddaughter and John might be good.

Dugu Yan was happy after hearing that John would help her but when he heard that John would leave for a few years makes her sad. She then said "Thank You John"

"Drink it." John ordered.

Dugu Yan then drink it in one go. She then felt very warm after drinking it.

Dugu Bo then checked his granddaughter. After checking for a while, Dugu Bo then confirmed that the poisons was now gone.

Dugu Yan after hearing what her grandfather said, immediately hugged John on impulse.

John was shocked after Dugu Yan hugged him. John then smiled and then hugged her back.

Dugu Bo and Sia were just looking at them while smiling.

After Dugu Yan knew what she did, she did not stop but hugged him tighter.

After a while, Dugu Yan broke the hugged while blushing. John just smiled at her and caressed her head.

They then find a place not far from Zhu Zhuqing to wait for her to wake up.

---Nightfall---

After how many hours of waiting, Zhu Zhuqing who was meditating suddenly light up and then opened her eyes.

Zhu Zhuqing then saw John with the others. She immediately went to hugged him.

"How is it?" John asked while hugging Zhuqing back.

"I broke through to Rank 30." Zhu Zhuqing excitedly said.

Dugu Bo and Dugu Yan were surprised after hearing what Zhu Zhuqing said.

"Then, it's good. I will find a suitable spirit beast for you tomorrow." John said while looking at Zhu Zhuqing in his arms.

"Mmm." Zhu Zhuqing replied.

John then looked at Dugu Bo and said "How about we head back to the city and found a restaurant too eat dinner."

Dugu Bo nodded and then followed John.

In the restaurant,

John and the others were now eating and talking.

"Young Lord, I noticed five unknown people were following you." Dugu Bo suddenly said.

Dugu Yan, Zhu Zhuqing and Sia looked at Dugu Bo and then looked at John.

"Well, just let them be." John replied while smiling. He didn't care about those who were following him.

Dugu Bo then stopped and continue eating. He knew that with the power of John, those people were just ants.

After eating for a while, John then summoned something in his inventory.

"I will leave this behind and let you absorb it. This will help your body and increased your spirit power at the same time." John then gave some Immortal Herbs that could help Dugu Yan.

Dugu Yan received them all and place them in her storage tool.

Thirty minutes later, they then bid their farewell. Dugu Yan was reluctant to leave John and wanted to follow him but John said that they will meet again and after that they will be together. Dugu Yan then became happy after hearing John. After, they part ways.

On the bed,

"John, are we going to leave tomorrow?" Sia asked. She was also excited going on a journey with John.

"Mmm. We will go back here for a few years." John answered. He already decided to unify the mainland after going back from their journey.

Zhu Zhuqing and Sia then leaned agaist John and gradually fell asleep. John also fell asleep later on.

---Early in the Morning---

John, Zhu Zhuqing, and Sia were now heading towards their destination but John decided to find a spirit beast first for Zhu Zhuqing in the Sunset Forest.

After they were now in the outskirts of the Sunset Forest, five sillhouets blocked their way. Their were wearing a cloak and mask to cover their faces.

"You finally show yourselves. I'm tired of waiting and observing you for awhile now." John said while smiling at them. After John scanned them, he discovered that they were all spirit saint.

The five cloaked men then make the first moved. They were actually sent by the emperor to know the secrets of John and to get back the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud. After knowing that John and the others will head towards the sunset forest, they immediately put into action their plan.

After seeing their attacks, Zhu Zhuqing and Sia looked in horror.

John then motioned his hand and wrote something.

***Madoka***

A dragon came out and roared. John then make several fireballs and the dragon then connect to the fireballs to make a barrier.

Five attacks bombarded the barrier but it didn't even break.

"I know you were all sent by the emperor. To actually sent someone to kill the person who help him. Hugh." John sighed and then become cold. He looked at the five cloaked men.

John motioned his hand and wrote.

***Rui***

Another dragon with a rather wild 'hair' came out.

"Rui, engulf them." John ordered. The dragon then roared and head towards the five cloaked men.

The five cloaked men wanted to dodge when suddenly a sudden fog distracting their vision. They then saw the emperor looking at them with a furious look.

"You're all useless, to actually be defeated by just a young man. I don't need the five of you. I give you one last chance to redeem yourselves. The last man standing will only the person who can live." Emperor Xue Ye angrily said while looking at the five of them.

The five cloaked men where confused after seeing the emperor. But their senses told them that emperor in front were real.

One of the five cloaked then moved first and attack the person beside him. After the started to fight, the others also fight. And chaos started to occur.

John, on the other hand, was looking at them while smiling.

"John, what's with this fog?" Zhu Zhuqing curiously asked.

"It's my spirit ability." John answered while looking at the fog.

Suddenly, shouts could be heard in the center of the fog. Which continues for about two minutes.

Inside the fog,

Only two of the five cloaked men were standing. The other three were already dead.

The two were full of injuries and cuts throughout their body.

"Your life is mine." One of the alive cloaked man said. He then dashed and used a spirit ability towards the other.

After fighting for a while, only one person were still standing. He then looked at the emperor. He said "Your Majesty".

The emperor just smile and then transform into another person which is he himself. "Kekekeke, you will die. No one will live."

The man after seeing that the emperor transformed into another person suddenly realized that it was now all illusion. After realizing, the fog dissappeared and became a flame. The flame then engulfed him.

"anaaaaaaaahhhhhh" the cloaked man scream after getting burned.

After the fire dissappeared,

John could see five dead bodies and one of them was actually burned.

Zhu Zhuqing and Sia on the other hand became pale after seeing it.

John walked towards the dead bodies and then put then in his inventory.

He then turned around and saw the paled Zhu Zhuqing and Sia. He then said "Let's continue." 1

Zhu Zhuqing and Sia nodded and went beside him.

John looked at the Heaven Dou City and said inwardly 'When I come back, I'll flatten this empire.'

He then started to walked which Sia and Zhu Zhuqing followed.
