Chapter 37 - Emperor's Worry

Dugu Yan's Mansion,

They were now on the mansion relaxing and talking. Dugu Yan were now full of life and came back to herself before.

While they were talking, some ruckus could be heard just outside the mansion.

They then went outside and see what was happening. They then saw a luxurious carriage parked just outside the mansion.

Two cloaked person then appeared in front of them.

"Greetings, Sir John. The Emperor wanted your presence in the palace." one of the cloaked person said.

John just smirked and then looked at them before saying "If he wants talk then he needs to come here instead."

Dugu Yan was shocked after hearing John's words. She then became afraid and then she looked at Zhu Zhuqing and Sia.

Zhu Zhuqing and Sia looked at her and just smiled. Dugu Yan then remained silent and trusted John.

On the other, the two cloaked person were the most shocked of them all. They didn't expect John to decline and disrespect the Emperor.

The cloaked person who did not talked was angered and decided to take action but suddenly he felt something flying in the air. He looked at it and saw that it was the head of his comrade. When he looked back at John, there is already a sword pointing in his neck.

John smiled and looked at the cloaked person. "Head back and tell the emperor what I just said earlier."

The cloaked man was afraid from what happened. After hearing, he then immediately ran without riding the carriage.

After the cloaked man left. John then recalled the sword form of Infinity in his inventory.

"Entei, use flamethrower." John ordered.

Upon hearing, Entei immediately attacked the dead body.

"John, is this okay?" Dugu Yan said while being worried.

John looked at Dugu Yan and embraced her. He then said "Trust your man."

Dugu Yan blushed after John said those words.

John then kissed her lips which Dugu Yan surprised her but she also kissed back.

After a while, they then head back inside.

At the palace,

Ning Fengzhi was already in the Palace and wanting to relay that John came back.

After arriving, Xue Ye was surprised seeing him. He then asked "How come your here, Clan Master Ning?"

"Greeting His Majesty, I actually wanted to tell you that John was already back." Ning Fengzhi replied politely.

"Well, I already sent someone to fetch him." Emperor Xue Ye said.

Just a moment, a person suddenly appeared.

"Where's John?" Emperor Xue Ye asked when he did not saw John together with him.

"Your Majesty, Sir John said the if someone wanted to talk to him. They need to go to him in person." The cloaked man answered with some fear in his voice.

Ning Fengzhi where shocked to hear the cloaked man's words. He can't believe that John actually said those words.

The emperor on the other hand was very angry after hearing the reply of the cloaked man.

The emperor then emitted a very powerful spirit pressure and then stood up. He then ordered "Relay my message, immediately form the army available and take John to me no matter what condition he's in."

The cloaked man were surprised by the Emperor order but he followed immediately dissapeared in the room.

"Your Majesty, I think your decision were too much." Ning Fengzhi was afraid after hearing the Emperor's order. He does not know why they need an army to take John.

"Are you ordering me, the Emperor, Clan Master Ning?" Emperor Xue Ye looked at Ning Fengzhi angrily.

"No, Your Majesty." Ning Fengzhi could only bowed down and can't do nothing as it was the Emperor's order. He then thought what will happen towards John now.

Heaven Dou City,

The people living in the city then began to panicked as they found an army was marching towards a certain direction. They all thought that Spirit Hall was attacking them again.

This situation was also received by the Shrek Students and Teachers. They then immediately went outside to see what was happening.

Dugu Yan's Mansion,

"I never thought that this will be the Emperor's reply." John said before standing up.

"What is it, John?" Dugu Yan curiously asked

"Well, the Empire's army were now marching towards here." John answered while smiling.

Dugu Yan panicked after hearing John's. She then immediately asked "W-We need to leave."

"Hahahaha, don't panicked Yanyan" Sia laughed while looking at Dugu Yan's reaction.

"Mmm. John was strong. Believe in him." Zhu Zhuqing supported.

Dugu Yan then calmed down by hearing Sia's Zhu Zhuqing's words but she was still afraid. She then looked at John worriedly.

John moved toward Dugu Yan and kissed her lips before saying "Just relaxed and wait for me."

John then turned around and head outside. He then said "Entei, Suicune, and Raikou follow me. Leafeon, Umbreon, and Sylveon protect your masters."

The six Pokemons then roared in excitement after hearing John.

John then rode at Entei back. He looked back and said "I'll be back later."

Entei and the others then run towards the direction of the army.

Dugu Yan's mansion were a little bit farther to Heaven Dou City. There's still a plain field to be to crossed in order to arrived at her mansion.

On the field,

John was already waiting for the army to arrived.

After a while, a marching sound could be heard from afar. John and the others then looked.

After the distance was close enough for them to hear each others voices. The army leader shouted "Sir John, to actually meet for the second time. I don't know why but the Emperor wanted you to come to the Palace no matter what methods we did and conditions you are in."

"Is this really the order of the Emperor?" John head down from Entei's back while smiling.

"Yes, so will you please come with us." The army leader said.

"Nah, I also decided to pay back some debts five years ago." John replied while still smiling.

"Then, we can only use forced to bring you back." The army leader then released his spirit rings and then followed by almost 100,000 spirit soldiers.

John were surprised to see that the army leader was actually a Titled Douluo. But he knows that this army was still not the full force of the Empire

because aside from the Army leader, all other soldiers were just Spirit Saint and Spirit Emperor.

"Sir John, I request you for the second time to come with us." The army leader was confident as they had a total of a hundred thousand while John was alone together with three strange spirit beasts.

"Hahahahah, then we could only fight." John then motioned his hand and wrote something.

***Koku***

A dragon with one eye suddenly came out and roared loudly.

This is their first time seeing John's power in action.

John then ordered Koku and it begun to concentrate fireballs on his mouth. The longer it gets the fireball become bigger.

The army leader felt something was wrong with the fireball but he still did not take action.

"Do you think you will win by taking advantage in numbers?" John smiled before ordering.

"Koku: Fire Beam"

The army leader then realize what was wrong and he then shouted immediately "Everyone, disperse"

But it was already late as Koku already released a fire beam.

The attacked caused the ground to shake a little.

After a while, the army leader then looked at the damage from John's attacked. He felt fear after seeing that the field have a massive hole in it. He looked towards his army and saw that it was very tragic. Almost half of the army were dead while the others were alive but badly injured. He then looked again at John.

"How was it?, I told you, numbers were not enough." John said and smiled after knowing that he just leveled up and become a Titled Douluo.

The army leader then shouted "Everyone attackkkk!!!!"

The shout of the leader army woke the soldier from shocked. They then immediately used spirit abilities to attack John.

The army leader also attack and used his strongest attack.

After seeing so many attacks like a falling meteor, John immediately motioned his hand once again.

***Madoka***

Another dragon came out, John immediately created a lot of fireball in which madoka could connect to make a barrier.

Thousands of spirit abilities were bombarded towards John which caused to caused a mist and blocked their visions.

The army leader focused his attention towards John's location and hoping that their attacks would finish him.

After a while, the army leader could now see clearly the location of John but when he saw something like a dome covering him, he then felt horror after seeing that their attacks where useless.

John then canceled Madoka and looked at them like nothing happened.

"Remember my words, you will all die today because of how foolish you're Emperor was." John said loudly. John then ordered Entei, Suicune, and Raikou to have some fun also.

Entei, Suicune, and Raikou then roared. They then immediately used their power combo moves.

The weather became dark as if there were a storm coming. The ground started to shake and cracked. There is a mist then starting to blocked their vision.

The army leady looked at the three strange spirit beasts. He then shouted "Be careful!".

After a while, shouts could be heard throughout the field but they didn't know what happened because the mist were thicked that even a Titled Douluo like the army leader couldn't do anything.

Shouts and cries echoed throughout the field and in lasted for about twenty minutes before the mist and the dark sky return to normal.

But after the mist dissapeared, the place were like a ruin. The ground were filled with cracks and some lava were flowing out on it.

When the army leader saw this scene, he could only kneeled down and looked at his army of over a 100,000 who were completely on the ground either dead or alive while wailing from the pain.

He didn't noticed that John was already in his side.

"See, the reason they die was just because the Emperor wants me to head to the palace." John just looked at the thousands of dead people on the ground. He found that the stronger he become, the idea of death become vague in his mind.

While all this happened, the Emperor Xue Ye also know the situation as someone was always reporting what was happening.

In the Palace,

Emperor Xue Ye and Ning Fengzhi were sitting in their respected seats.

Suddenly, a cloaked man then reported "Y-Your M-Majesty, the army were wiped out."

Emperor Xue Ye and Ning Fengzhi were horrified after hearing the report.

"W-What did you just say?" Emperor Xue felt afraid for the first time and wanted to confirm what he just heard when suddenly another cloaked man appeared.

"Y-You Majesty, John were now already on the city gate." the cloaked man who just appear reported.

Emperor Xue Ye were now panicking, he then immediately ordered "Call all the Titled Douluos towards the Palace immediately."

"Yes." said the cloaked man.

Heaven Dou City,

John was now leisurely walking towards the Palace.

While John were walking, all the people living in the city where looking at him.

John just smiled at them while walking towards the palace.

The people were actually not looking at John, they were looking at the three strange spirit beast following him from behind.

After John arrived in the entrance of the palace, there were actually guards waiting for him.

John just looked at them. The guards were petrified just after seeing his eyes.

John then continue to walk. The guards could only make way for John fearing that they might also die.

John then recalled the three Legendary Beast and summoned them back later.

At the palace,

John entered the hall, he then looked around and saw Emperor Xue Ye, Ning Fengzhi, and ten cloaked men.

"Clan Master Ning, I never thought that you were also here." John said while looking at Ning Fengzhi.

"It's nice seeing you again, John." Ning Fengzhi greeted back while getting nervous about what will happen now.

John then looked at Emperor Xue Ye. He then said "Emperor Xue Ye, you actually send an army just to take me. I never thought that you give importance to me that much."

Emperor Xue Ye frowned after hearing John while the ten cloaked men stayed in vigilance.

"Emperor Xue Ye, five years ago you send five person to kill me. Have you ever thought what would happen If ever I manage to escape?" John said while laughing inside after looking at their expressions.

"First, you planned to killed and now send an army. Do you really want to kill me that much?" John said again.

Emperor Xue Ye can't find the words to reply. He admitted that he just wanted to know the secrets of John but when he found out that the people he sent did not came back, he became afraid all of the sudden. And just yesterday, he found out that John came back, he then decided to kill him directly by sending an army.

Before John could react someone actually blow a surprised attack.

John could not react on time and actually flew outside the palace.

Emperor Xue Ye smiled after their surprised attack actually hit John. They then went outside to what happened to John.

But when they arrived, they were surprised after seeing John was actually fine while having the creepiest smile they could imagined.
