Chapter 41 - Zhu Family

"Kneel Down." John coldly said while emitting his spirit pressure combined with his Haki.

Zhuqing's Father kneeled down immediately after feeling a terrible pressure. The throne he was sitting crumbled and now he was kneeling while supporting his body with his hands touching the ground.

Zhuqing's Father was not the only one who was experiencing this pressure. The people who were in the palace also felt it and they all looked in horror. They all thought that there must be some kind of attack.

While they were suffering, the cloaked man outside the palace were trembling. He then looked towards the palace in fear.

Zhuqing's Father can't even look up. And there were now some blood flowing from his ears and nose.

Suddenly,

"John." Zhu Zhuqing suddenly said. She and the others were fine because John control his pressure to not include them.

John looked at Zhu Zhuqing and finally calmed down. And after that the spirit pressure suddenly vanished.

All the people living in the palace breath out in relief.

John looked at Zhuqing's Father and noticed that there were now at three old men helping him.

The three old men were looking at John while having a painful expression.

"How careless, I almost destroyed the palace. Well, I'm so sorry with my behavior, uncle." John suddenly said and then used Nature's Heal towards Sia.

Zhuqing's Father and the three old men just looked at John as if he was a monster.

"I think I need to introduced myself clear. I am John Hendrix, lover of Zhu Zhuqing, and the first Emperor of True God's Empire." John introduced himself while smiling.

Zhuqing's Father and the three old men were shocked after knowing that the John they were seeing now was actually the reported emperor of the newly Empire just a month ago.

"I don't know what happened but I think we will visit some other time." John said while turning his back and start walking.

Sia and Dugu Yan followed immediately while Zhu Zhuqing stayed for a while.

Zhu Zhuqing looked at his father with disappointment and then followed John afterwards.

After they left, the three old men beside Zhuqing's father breath out in relief.

"Is that really the person who destroyed Heaven Dou Empire?" One of the old men said while being shocked after seeing that the report was actually true.

"Clan Head, how could such a person head here together with Young Miss" Another old man said.

"Are you not listening? He said he was Zhuqing's lover." Another old man rebuttaled.

"T-Then, does that mean that youth was the person who Zhuqing followed five years ago?" The first old man shockingly said.

A moment of silence then filled the hall.

"Elders, can you block the news regarding the visit of True God Empire's Emperor being here." Zhuqing's Father said.

The elders looked at him while knowing what was running through his mind.

"I never would have thought that this would happen." Zhuqing's father said while remembering what Dai Mubai told him few days ago.

"T-Then, what should we do? We all know that Zhuqing was already engaged to Mubai as this was written in our tradition." One of the elders said while imagining what would happen if they won't allow Zhuqing to be with that youth.

Upon hearing, the other elder then also thought that same. They all thought that this problem was more urgent than fighting the Spirit Hall.

Zhuqing's Father just remained silent. He also thought of this after hearing John earlier. After feeling the terrible power of John earlier, he doesn't want him to be his enemy but it doesn't change the fact that they had a tradition to follow.

"Let me talk to him tomorrow and see what will happen." Zhuqing's father sighed as he can't decide what to do and decided to have a talk with John tomorrow.

The elders just nodded at Zhuqing's Father's decision and hopes that things will go smoothly.

---Night---

On the hotel,

After John decided to meet them again sometime, they then head towards the neibouring city and find some hotel to stay for the night.

"John, Sia, YanYan, I'm very sorry with my father's behavior earlier I never thought that he would act like that after seeing me." Zhu Zhuqing apologize.

"Well, It's partly my fault too. So stop thinking about that and let's just sleep." John answered while smiling and caressing her head.

Sia and Dugu Yan just nodded before they closed their eyes.

Zhu Zhuqing on the other hand looked up and moved her head towards John and kissed him before she closed her eyes.

John were surprised by Zhuqing's kissed and then smiled before closing his eyes too.

---Early the next morning---

At a restaurant,

John and the others were surprised after a luxurious carriage was parked outside the restaurant which causes the people in the surrounding to exclaimed and thought that a noble might be visiting them.

A person from the carriage then head towards them and said "Your Majesty, Young Misses, is it convenient to have some of your time and visit the palace again."

John could tell that this was the cloaked person who they first met yesterday.

"Then, let us finished our breakfast first." John relied while continue eating. Zhu Zhuqing and the others also continue eating.

After they were all done, John and the others then followed the cloaked man towards the carriage and then they immediately leave.

After they leave, the people around the restaurant then talking about who John was but there was actually someone near the restaurant who leave immediately after seeing John and others leave.

In the Zhu Family Palace,

John and the others were sitting in a luxurious living room but some cracks could also be seen in some corner of the room.

John and others were not alone because there were also people who were sitting in front of them. One was Zhuqing's Father, the other two were both beautiful woman; one mature and one of the same age as John.

"Your Majesty, I'm so sorry for my rudeness yesterday. I hope you wont take it to the heart." Zhuqing's Father suddenly stood up as he bowed and apologizes.

The other two women also stood up and greeted John.

"Well, I could understand your feeling but you action must only directly to me and not affect other. After all, I'm a very protective person especially to my lovers." John just smiled and answered.

Seeing John smiled, Zhuqing's Father were actually not happy, he was actually nervous instead.

Zhuqing's Father then sit down and introduced the persons beside him.

John's already know who they. The mature woman was actually Zhuqing's mother while the other one was her sister.

After a while, John then said "Actually I'm here to formally break the engagement between Zhuqing and Dai Mubai as I don't want other people to disturb us."1

Zhuqing's father and mother already knew this would happen and it was also the caused of their worries.

Zhuqing's sister who was called Zhu Zhuyun was shocked to the core after hearing John's words.

Zhuqing's father looked at his wife and nodded. He then looked at John and said "Your Majesty, can we talk privately?"

John looked at him for a while before nodding. He then looked at Zhu Zhuqing and the others before they left.

"Your Majesty, you might already know this but Dai and Zhu family have a tradition to follow." Zhuqing father said.

"I don't care about that tradition of yours. I only care about Zhuqing." John casually said.

"B-But this will make us the Zhu's to be in conflict with the Dai's" Zhuqing's father nervously said.

"If that's your problem, it can be solve easily. I will visit the Dai's later and depending on their decision I might as well destroy them completely." John smiled while looking Zhuqing's father.

Zhuqing's father can't believe what he just heard but he could tell that John was not lying.

John did not hear any response from Zhuqing's father.

"I will call you Uncle from now on then." John said while smiling as he know what was running through his mind.

"You can call me whatever you want, Your Majesty." Zhuqing's father answered. After seeing John's power yesterday, he directly approved him as his son-in-law but the only thing that bothers him was how will the Dai family would react upon this situation.

John and Zhuqing's father then talked for a while.

In some place of the palace,

The girls were actually here having their own conversation as well.

"Zhuqing, how were you for the past five years?" Zhuqing's mother worriedly asked

"I'm fine mother. John was best man I've ever met and I decided to follow him for the rest of my life." Zhuqing answered while smiling.

"Then, follow your heart but always remember to be careful." Zhuqing's mother answered. After they had a talk with her husband last night and know the situation of Zhu Zhuqing, she directly approved of her decision as she also doesn't like her fiancee Dai Mubai.

Zhu Zhuyun just listened to their conversation. Her mind was in chaos after hearing such revelations today. But she was grateful as there will be no more competition to the throne. But she also felt bitter after knowing that Zhuqing's lover was already an Emperor himself and most especially he was very handsome at that.

"Don't worry mother, I'm strong and my sisters were also strong." Zhuqing said while looking Sia and Dugu Yan.

Zhuqing's mother and Zhu Zhuyun then looked at them also and thought that they were also beautiful in their ways.

Sia and Dugu Yan just smiled at them.

Zhuqing then told them her experiences for the past five years.

After a while, two people entered the room. They looked at them and saw that it was John and Zhuqing's father.

John then find a seat, the same for Zhuqing's father. They talked for a while before they eat lunch.

---Night---

On the bedroom,

Time flows by, Zhuqing's father convinced them to stay in the palace for the night.

"John, what are we gonna do now as we were done visiting Zhuqing's family?" Dugu Yan suddenly asked.

"Hmmm, let's visit the main city of Star Lou Empire tomorrow and completely break the engagement." John answered while caressing her head.

"Thank you, John." Zhu Zhuqing looked up and said.

John smiled and then kissed her forehead.

"Let's sleep and get ready for tomorrow." John said before kissing their forehead one by one.

---Early the next morning---

Outside the palace,

John were already on the carriage together with Sia and the others.

Zhuqing's father and mother were outside looking at the moving carriage while Zhu Zhuyun was just on her room's window looking at them.

"I hope nothing will happen." Zhuqing's mother worriedly said.

"I hope so." Zhuqing's father replied.

Star Lou Empire's Palace Hall,

Emperor Dai was frowning after hearing the report of the person in front of him. He then waved his hand and dismissed the person.

"Give me your thoughts about the report, Elders." Emperor Dai asked while looking the five elders on the hall.

"True God's Emperor actually visits the Zhu family, it might be because of Zhu Zhuqing." One of the elders said.

"I can't believe that Prince Mubai's fiancee actually followed that youth." Another elder said.

"This is difficult, we don't know the power of the new Emperor and also clueless if he had a powerful backer in the shadows." One of the elder said after knowing that this is a difficult situation.

"What difficult are you thinking, even thought he's an Emperor. He can't just break our tradition, we followed this tradition for how many years already and we can't just break it off because of a threat of some green horn Emperor." One of the elder was furiously said.

The hall then became noisy. Emperor Dai then said "Enough."

The elders then became silent and waited for the Emperor to decide.

Emperor Mubai waved his hand and a cloaked man appeared. He then said "Continue monitoring."

Upon hearing the order, the cloaked man then left.

"They would probably come here. We will all know what kind of Emperor he was at that time." Emperor Dai seriously said while thinking about John.
