Chapter 42 - True God's Empire

---Two days later---

After just two days, John and the others were now near the main city of Star Lou Empire. They decided to stop in a Inn in some village and rest for the day.

John and the others did not do anything and just stay in the Inn in which they took rest the whole day and decided to continue tomorrow.

Whereas, John's locations were also relayed to the palace as per the Emperor's order.

---Early the next morning---

John continued their way towards the main city of Star Lou Empire. John already knew that after they left the Zhu Family Palace, they were people who were monitoring them in the shadows.

After only three hours, John and the others were now in city gate and John could tell that it wasn't that bad compared to his. They then head towards a restaurant to eat and probably find a place to stay for the night before heading towards the Star Lou Empire's Palace.

---At the palace---

Emperor Dai together with the elders were gathering in the hall while listening to the report.

"Your Majesty, Emperor John and the others were already in the city." A cloaked man reported.

Emperor Dai nodded and then dismissed the cloaked man.

---Early the next morning---

In a restaurant,

While John and the others were eating,

A person head towards them and bowed. He then said "Greetings, Your Majesty. Emperor Dai was delighted with your presence and he hopes to see you in the palace."

John just smirked and replied "Wait until were done."

The person then waited for a while before John and the others get inside the carriage prepared by Star Lou Empire.

Inside the palace,

John and the others were now in front of the Emperor of Star Lou Empire.

"First of all, I would like to welcome Emperor John in my palace." Emperor Dai greeted. The five elder together with him also greeted John.

"Well, it's also my honor too to meet Emperor Dai in person." John greeted back while smiling. Sia and the others also greeted them.

"Actually I came here as I have a some matter to solve before I head back and I know that you might already know what it is." John smile confidently. He doesn't want to stay in this place longer because there were still other things to be done in.

Emperor Dai did not react and remained calm but the hotheaded elder cannot tolerate John's behaviour.

"Presumptions. I--"The hotheaded elder shouted but before he could finished a dagger was already penetrated his head and died immediately

John then recalled Infinity in its dagger form and wipe the blood on it while smiling.

Emperor Dai and the other elders cannot believe what just happened as everything went too fast. They then immediately became more cautious towards John and thought that he was hard to deal with.

"I don't really like someone who was shouting in front of me so if there were others who want to stand up against me, hehehehe, be prepared of what will happen." John grinned while looking at their expressions.

Emperor Dai and the others frowned while sweating as they believe that John was not joking.

"Emperor Dai, what do you say?" John asked while looking at Emperor Dai.

Upon hearing, Emperor Dai then looked at Zhu Zhuqing and can only sighed after seeing her.

"I accept but I have conditions." Emperor Dai answered.

"Hahahaha, A condition you said?, If I wanted to, I could just takeover your empire as whole without doing anything." John was amused by Emperor Dai's reply. He then used his supernatural skill Mind Control and decided to finished his business here already.

Emperor Dai frowned from John's abnormal reply. He just waited before his eyes widened after seeing such situation.

The remaining four elders stood up from their seats and head towards John and kneels down. They then greeted "Your Majesty"

John just smiled while being amused by the look of the Emperor was showing.

"How is it Emperor Dai?, I could do something like this in the very first place." John smiled while looking at Emperor Dai.

Emperor cannot believe what happened towards the elders but when he heard John and saw his smile. He then realized that he could possibly have a mind control spirit skill. He then became angry and released his spirit rings.

"Johnnnn!!!" Emperor Dai angrily shouted while preparing to initiate an attack as this was his only opportunity.

John then immediately used Sonic Minimum and directly head in front of Emperor Dai and punched his stomach.

Emperor Dai could not react in John's speed and was directly hit. He coughed up blood while veins were showing in his head. No one could describe what kind of pain he felt after John punched him. He then kneels down and grasped for air while coughing up blood.

John the grabbed Emperor Dai's head and said "Actually, I don't plan to kill anyone when I come here but I guessed it would be better to make you become my puppet to help me manage this place for me."

While everything like this were happening, Sia and the others just remained silent and watched John do things.

While John was grabbing Emperor Dai's head, he noticed that something was happening outside the palace. He scanned the area and then smiled after knowing what was happening and decided to wait.

After a while, the door suddenly opened and a group of people entered the hall.

These people were actually Tang San and the others together with Dai Mubai. They then observed the messed in the hall and was shocked after seeing the Emperor who was in pain in John's grasped.

The most shocked of them all was Dai Mubai itself after seeing his father kneeling in pain. He then looked towards John and saw him smiling at him.

"I didn't expect to see you all here. Well, what business do you have coming here?" John said while looking at them.

Tang San's and the others gulped after hearing John. They were actually actually nervous after seeing John again after knowing John's true power before.

After not hearing some response from them, John then looked at Emperor Dai and used Nature's Heal and directly used Mind Control to make him his follower.

John the took off his hand while Emperor Dai adjusted himself before kneeling down and said "Greeting, Your Majesty."

John just smiled but Tang San and the others were dumbfounded after seeing what just happened.

"F-Father." Dai Mubai murmured before his anger flowed out and directly attacked John.

Tang San wanted to stop him but it was too late.

John just looked at the dashing Dai Mubai and easily evaded his attack and decided to teach him a lesson and by slightly kicking his body. Dai Mubai was hit and immediately flew and crashed towards the wall of the hall.

Dai Mubai cried in pain after feeling that several bones of this body were broken.

John then looked towards Emperor Dai and the four elders inside the hall. He said "From today onward, Star Lou Empire will come to an end and will merge with True God's Empire and hail me as the only Emperor."1

"Yes, Your Majesty." Emperor Dai and the four elders replied.

"Wait for my instructions as I want to entertain my past teachers and classmates for a while." John ordered. He also ordered one of the elder to help Mubai.

John then looked at Tang San and the others before saying "How about we eat and talk for a while."

"W-Well, I-Im also hungry." It was Dean Flenders who replied this time. The others then woke up from the shock and nodded.

John then looked at Sia, Zhu Zhuqing, and Dugu Yan in which they immediately knew what he said.

They then head outside and find some restaurant.

In the restaurant,

The atmosphere was very heavy at the moment and no one wanted to speak first.

John just smiled and said "I think this is time first time eating together like this."

"Y-Yeah." Flender replied while looking at John.

"John, If I may ask, what were you doing earlier in the palace." Yu Xiaogang boldy asked. The others just shocked by his question because it was very direct.

"Well, one of reason is that I want to formally break the engagement of Zhuqing while biggest reason would be I want to rule the continent so in order to do that, I have to destroy those who blocked my way." John seriously said. He decided to tell them the truth as it doesn't matter anymore.

Yu Xiaogang and the others were surprised by John's reply. They never thought that John had such goal. But they then thought that there a bigger problem.

"T-Then what about the Spirit Hall?" Yu Xiaogang asked again with curiosity. The others also curious about what John's answer would be.

"If something happens, I will destroy them too. This continent only need one ruler and that would be me." John smiled with determination.

John then looked at Tang San and said "I will also visit your clan sometime and I hope they will cooperate kindly."

After hearing John's words, they all thought that John were not just spouting nonsense. Tang San on the other hand were sweating after hearing John's indirect threat. Though he did not like his clan but they were his clansmen after all.

They then finished their meal before they part ways. Yu Xiaogang told John that they will head back towards his Empire and permanently stay there.

John did not care what they do because after he travel in this world the story has change dramatically.

John then head back towards the palace together with Sia, Zhu Zhuqing, and Dugu Yan while imagining what happened to Liu Erlong as he did not see her together with them.

In the Palace,

John were now sitting comfortably in the newly built throne in the palace and below him, there were five people kneeling.

"Your Majesty, what orders do you wish to relay." Former Emperor Dai asked politely and was now like devotee towards John.

John just looked at them before replying "I want you to gather all the upper echelons and all nobles affiliated in this Empire."

John wanted to finished his business here and head back. He knew that after his takeover in Star Lou Empire, Spirit Hall will not stay still. It's not that he was afraid, he just wanted to stay out of trouble for a while and enjoy life.

Former Emperor Dai then executed John's order together with the remaining four elders.

---1 week later---

In just one week, the whole empire were brainwashed by John except for a few people.

John also ordered Clan Head Dai to head towards True God's Empire to formally declare them as a part of the Empire and also to discuss some plans regarding it's development.

After John finished his matters, they then decided to head back towards Zhuqing's home for the last time and told them what happened.

After hearing, the Zhu Family were shocked by John's news but also grateful for him. John and the others then bid farewell to them and head back.

But there were also people became angry with John, and it was the princes of the former Star Lou Empire and Zhu Zhuyung who wanted to become an empress.

In one month, the former Star Lou Empire and Heaven Dou Empire was merged into one with John as the Emperor.

This news shocked the whole continent as it was very fast. They never thought that in just one month, Star Lou Empire were also conquered by John.

Spirit City, Sumpreme Pontiff's Hall,

Bibi Dong's face can't be describe while thinking about the problem at hand. She never thought that John will also conquer Star Lou Empire.

'This can't be delayed any longer, John was more becoming more stronger the longer we wait. We need a plan to eliminate him immediately. I won't believe that a young person like him could do this much.' Bibi Dong thought while frowning.

God's Realm,

Five beings were now sitting in the hall. Their appearance looked very sacred at one glance. This five beings were actually the five God Kings who were ruling the God Realm.

"What was happening towards the Douluo Continent?" One of the God Kings asked.

"Drastic changes were happening in the continent and it was all because of that strange youth." Another God King answered.

"Though we know that it was him but somehow something was blocking us to communicate with him." Another God King said.

"How about we send someone from our followers in the continent and order him to locate that person. We need to verify if that person is somewhat related to Spirit Beasts and then decide what to do with him." Another God King said.

"Tsk, just kill him already. You're just wasting time." One of the God King was irritated.

The other God Kings showed displeasure from what he just said.

They then talked for a while on what best course of action they would take to communicate with John.

While all of this was happening, John on the other hand was relaxing in some area in the Sunset Forest.

John was relaxing the well while closing his eyes, though the well was not that helpful towards him but he felt very relaxed after dipping on the pond.

John set aside his mission and vigilance for now and just wanted to relaxed when suddenly he heard something, he looked at it and saw.....
