Chapter 69 - "Something Else"

---Early the next morning---

Chloe woke up while feeling numb. She looked around and found herself in John's embrace which she then remembered what they did last night and couldn't helped but blushed.

Moments later, John also woke up after feeling a little movement on the bed and the first thing he saw was Chloe looking at him while blushing.

"Good Morning." John said while gently touching her cheeks.

"G-Good Morning." Chloe shyly greeted after hearing John.

"How's your body?" John said after remembering how Chloe pushed herself to the limit last night.

"I-I feel numb." Chloe answered before she snuggled into John's arms as she could not believe that they really did it last night.

John wanted to ease the pain by healing her but decided not to as it was a memory for her to remember on how first time went.

The two then just embraced each other and enjoyed each other's warmth.

"By the way, are you just drunk last night or did you really had such feelings for me?" John suddenly asked and wanted to know as he knew that Chloe was already sober last night when they were having sex.

Chloe looked at John before lowering her head down as he doesn't want him to looked at her face.

"I-I don't know but when you said you were going to drop out some part of me was missing you." Chloe said as she remembered that after John left, she felt something in her was missing and that was then she realized that she actually has feeling for him.

John just listened to her before moving her chin up and kissed her lips.

Chloe after being kissed, closed her eyes and enjoyed the moment.

"Well, I won't leave you now." John said while looking at her lovingly.

Chloe then nodded and become happy after hearing John.

"John, do you have other woman aside from me?" Chloe suddenly asked as she had a feeling that she was not alone in John's heart.

"Yes, and I have several." John truthfully said as Chloe was already his woman.

"Then, can you introduced me to them?" Chloe said as she wanted to know his sisters.

"Then, you can come with me some day." John said as he decided to introduced Chloe to the family later on.

Chloe then smiled and embraced him for a while before she pushed John out of her room as she wanted to take a bath.

John was shocked after seeing that she was still shy after what they did. He then sighed and decided to have a look at the mansion while waiting for her.

John already wore some clothes and decided to went downstairs as he wanted drink some water.

On his way, John could see several maids walking in the mansion while staring at him while blushing. He wryly greeted them as he knew that it must what they did last night that they were like that.

Dining room,

John then decided to stay in the dining room while having a drink. He thought how could such a big mansion only had a few people living inside as he thought that Chloe was the only person living here aside from the maids.

John waited for a while before he could hear a noise walking towards the room and thought that it might be Chloe.

It didn't take long before the person John thought that might be Chloe entered but after seeing the person he could only scratched his head while laughing inside as he thought that fate really was playing with him this time.

The two stared at each other after seeing each other but the other person flinched after seeing John.

"J-John, can we talk." The person said. This person was the woman who was watching them having sex last night, Jessica Venice, his biological mother.

John was surprised to see his mother here and then realized something after remembering her full name when she introduced last time.

"Are you Chloe's mother?" John asked as he wanted to confirm after realizing that they had the same last name.

"Y-Yes and she's your twin sister."Jessica answered before finding a seat on the room.

"Twin, huh" John replied after hearing that Chloe was actually his twin sister. He could only looked at her as he don't know what to react at this moment.

The system interrupted but it only made John smiled widely in his heart.

"Then, what now? Do you want me stay away from Chloe?" John asked as he wanted to know what was running in his mother's mind.

"Y-Yes." Jessica replied as it was a norm that family members could not marry each other specially if the society knew about this matter.

"Hmm, I don't want to and I know Chloe was also the same." John said as Chloe was already on his Harem Members and in addition to what the system said, their blood relation doesn't really matter anymore.

"T-That" Jessica couldn't find the words to say after remembering what they did last night and thought that their relationship must already been sealed at that moment.

"Then, can you just listen to my explanation?" Jessica changed the topic as she will deal with their relationship later and wanted to made this time to explain everything to him.

John looked at her before nodding as he was also curious as to why they left him.

Jessica then explained in detailed what happened in the past.

She explained first their family history. Their family was actually one of the prominent and powerful family in another country but they had a very abnormal tradition as they only allow female living in the family.

Seeing that Jessica gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl. Her family told her to abandoned the former and keep the girl which made Jessica cried and could only left John in an orphanage as knew about the tradition of her family. Despite pleading nonstop, her family only turn a blind eye to her and let her grieved for a while as they knew that it will pass by and she will forget about it. Her husband didn't even have a voice to this matter as he could not do anything after being threatened by Jessica's family.

For the next month after giving birth, Jessica found out that her husband died in a car accident but she knew her family must have something to with it as something like that also happened to the husbands of her sisters.

Jessica wanted to commit suicide that time but after remembering John and Chloe, she steeled her heart to live for them.

Throughout the years, she stayed in the family to learn many things especially towards business before deciding to live on her own and left the family. Her family protested at first after they saw how talented and genius Jessica was as they already have the plan to let her manage the businesses of the family but Jessica just coldly left the place before moving overseas which her son was now living with the person she contacted to adopt him.

After settling overseas, Jessica always contacted the person who adopted her son as she doesn't have the courage to face him after seeing how happy he was living with them. She grieved every time before she decided to help him in the shadows and the most example of it was the dean of the University John attended.

When the time she knew that John dropped out on his own, that was the time that she mustered up her courage to face him and hope that he would forgive her but not to her expectation that John would treat her like a stranger after meeting each other.

After John know the truth, he then looked at her mother and saw tears flowing on her eyes after remembering the past.

'kaahh, my past was like a story in the novel or something. I never thought that something like that happened in the past.' John thought in his mind while feeling goosebumps.

'Then my meeting with the Hendrix's were really not a coincidence.' John thought after remembering that right after being adopted they immediately board a plane to get here but there was something that bugging his mind after knowing the truth.

"The death of Lilith's parents is that really an accident or perhaps your family had something to do with it?" John suddenly asked while looking at Jessica seriously after realizing how unlucky would it be for his parents to die like that.

Jessica couldn't utter a single word and could only cry as she could not answer his question as she also investigated that matter but no matter what she did, she could not find any clues about the incident but she knew that it must be the doing of her family.

After seeing her like that, John then confirmed that the death of Lilith's parent were not accident. He then just keep it in mind and deal with it later before walking towards her.

Seeing John got close to her, Jessica couldn't help but stood up to hugged him tight while crying at the same time. 2

John then just caressed her after knowing her past and also he could not took all the blame to her as it was her family who were at fault.

"I'm sorry but I don't really need a mother anymore." John said what he's feeling right now.

Upon hearing, Jessica's tears could only fell down but she could not forced John to forgive her as it was partly her fault that she did not took the courage to meet him even before.

"But I could be someone else." John said as he wiped out her tears before kissing her lips. He now remembered who was the person watching them last night after feeling the same aura coming from her.

Jessica widened her eyes after being shocked by the sudden situation. She struggled but she could not move in John's embrace and could only see him kissing her.

'This re---' Jessica knew what they were doing was immoral but the more John kissed her the more she felt great.

And it didn't take long before Jessica was starting to feel hot and was now starting to cooperate with John.

John looked at Jessica who was now closing her eyes while kissing him back. He then pushed his tounge inside her mouth after seeing no resistance and entwined it with hers.

John and Jessica kissed for a whole five minutes before stopping. The two then just looked at each other especially Jessica after realizing that she was really doing it with her own son.

"J-John, I-I'm your mother." Jessica said as she still had a bit of morality even though she also felt good with their kiss.

"I don't care." John said while gently touching her cheeks before kissing her again.

'We shouldn't be doing this and yet I--' Jessica thought as she closed her eyes and kissed him back as she wanted more.

"We could not turn to a mother and son relationship but we could be something else." John said before pecking on her lips for the last time before turning back as he felt someone was coming.

Jessica heard what he said and just stand there with a hint of redness on her face. John's last words were also printed in her mind and couldn't help but think about it.

Suddenly, Chloe entered the room and saw John and her mother.

"Mother, you are here. By the way, this is John." Chloe said as she introduced John while hugging him.

"Her boyfriend." John followed before hugging her back while looking at Jessica.

Jessica then woke up after hearing Chloe.

"Y-Yeah, he already introduced earlier." Jessica replied while looking at John.

"Let's eat as I still have class today." Chloe said before ordering some maids to prepare some food.

Outside the mansion,

John and Chloe were now leaving while Jessica was looking at them while thinking about something.

"Something else, huh." Jessica murmured before entering inside.

John's Villa,

John head home immediately and saw no one inside. He then picked his phone up and saw several message. He then read them one by one and it was written that they had gone outside again.

Kim, Lilith, and Alexa had gone to the University. While Sera and the others decided to head outside as Sherry wanted to roam around the the city.

John then sighed before heading upstairs to take a bath and probably head outside again to calm his mind after all that happened earlier.
