Chapter 81 - Stubborn

On the helicopter, 

John and the others continue to keep distance while observing the situation. 

"I think the plane isn't gonna make it." John said while looking the plane constantly being attack of the Aragami.

"Have we made contact with the transport?" Lindow asked the one who were operating the helicopter.

"There's been no response." The pilot replied.

Lindow and Sakuya frowned while looking again on the plane.

"Someone's out there." John then just said which shocked Lindow and Sakuya as they were still far the plane. 

John looked at the girl on the plane and saw how she change her weapons and use it to kill Aragami. Lindow and Sakuya noticed it which then they told the pilot to move closer and put them on the same frequency to contact the person on the plane.

"This is the 1st Unit of the Far East Branch. If you hear me, respond!" Lindow said hoping that the person got the message.

"Yes, this is Alisa Ilinichina Amiella." The girl replied after hearing the message. 

Lindow then sighed before telling her that they were ordered to rescue and bring her back to the base but Alisa argued that she didn't need to be rescued. 

Alisa then use turn off her communication device before transforming her God Arc again as she was determined to kill all the Aragami on her sight.

On the helicopter, 

John saw that the sun were now rising and couldn't help but look how beautiful the sky was. 

"How stubborn but I like stubborn woman too." John said before he jumping down ready to help.

"Wait, John." Lindow said after seeing John already jumped down. 

"It can't be help then." Lindow scratched his head and ordered Sakuya to support John. 

Sakuya was already in position even before Lindow ordered her as she already point her God Arc towards some of the Aragamis in John's way.

On the plane, 

After jumping down, John first looked towards Alisa. She has unkempt gray hair topped by a red beret. She wears a short, sleeveless jacket that covers her chest with a zipper only halfway closed from up to down, exposing her midriff and some cleavage, and a checkered red skirt. She was also wearing black, fingerless gloves, which the left on it extends to her elbow, and black thigh-length boots. 

Alisa also looked at John but didn't say anything before she transform her God Arc into a machine gun and kill the Aragami coming on John's back. 

John just stay still before summoning Infinity and transform it into a sword before rushing forward towards Alisa to kill the incoming Aragami. 

The two then coordinated like they were already being partners for years but unlike John who were very experience, Alisa was still making some small mistakes and still need to improve especially her attitude of being very competitive.

Lindow and Sakuya who were above just looked at them with surprised after seeing them killing Aragami. They already knew about John being powerful but seeing the new-type was also keeping up was extraordinary. 

In the midst of their fighting, a sudden screech could be heard and they all looked at it and saw how the Aragami evolved while seeing it calling the others.

"Are you the other New-Type?" Alisa suddenly asked while looking at John.

"No, I'm not." John replied casually. 

Alisa then stayed still and looked at his weapon. She had questions to ask but the time weren't right and decided to ask when they're done.

On the helicopter,

Seeing the Aragamis who were gathering and now getting close to the plane, Lindow immediately ordered the pilot to get the helicopter close to the plane as he also wanted to jump down.

"The situation has changed. Sorry, but you're coming with us." Lindow said after jumping down as he decided to take Alisa back and abandoned the plane.

Upon hearing, Alisa immediately run which Lindow followed but was blocked by an Aragami.

"Tsk, John, go after her." Lindow ordered upon seeing that he was occupied.

John then followed Alisa behind as he already knew what would happen later as this also happened in the original story.

In some place on the plane,

John was casually walking before a sudden punch was coming towards him followed by a kick but he already anticipated this and evaded it with ease. 

"Alisa, you're still young to even scratch me." John said while only evading her following attacks without fighting back. 

Seeing this, Alisa couldn't believe what she was seeing right now and could only moved back toward her God Arc. 

"It's useless to try to force me to go with you. I'm not leaving this plane." Alisa said before grabbing her God Arc and walked towards a door.

"I'm not here to force you anyway." John said before he followed Alisa.

Inside the plane,

After entering the door, John then saw several wounded person lying on the floor just like in the original story. Some were lying on floor in pain while some were tending the injuries of others. 

"It'll rattle a bit, but don't worry. I'll get you all to the Far East Branch. I promise!" Alisa said assuring the people inside that they will reach their destination safely.

Seeing this situation, John then called Lindow and Sakuya and told them that there were several people on the plane which they then realized why Alisa was so stubborn about not leaving the plane.

They then talked for a while before deciding to use the plane and make it to the Far East Branch Headquarters instead of using the helicopter. Lindow after having some time came inside to see the situation before telling them his plan but John suggested something else on the process.

Outside the plane, 

John, Lindow, and Alisa were looking towards the upcoming swarm of Aragamis with their respective weapons.

"John, I leave the evolve one to you then." Lindow said after John told them earlier that he could kill the evolve one in one shot.

"Yeah, just leave it to me." John said before he transform Infinity into a bow and bought some arrows on the store.

Lindow and Alisa looked at John's weapon as it transform into a bow this time. Lindow was already used to it even though he did not see it in this form, Alisa, on the other hand, was shocked but she thought that it would be better to transform it into a gun or something else instead of a bow.

John then summoned the arrow that he bought before stretching the bow. He then locked on the evolved Aragami from the distance and saw some unevolve ones blocking it seeing how it was different from the others. John just smiled before he shot the arrow with full force.

After releasing, it created a flash of lightning because of how fast it was added that John bought an arrow with a lightning attribute before hitting the evolve Aragami along with the unevolve ones blocking it.

"Bodyshot" John said after seeing that not even a trace of the evolve Aragami body were left.1

Right after the evolve ones got killed, the other Aragamis were on chaos after their supposedly leader got killed and was now on a rampage coming towards the plane.

However, Lindow, Sakuya, and Alisa all looked at John especially to his weapon after seeing it returned back to a normal stick as what he did was still fresh as they couldn't believe that he could produced such a strong attack.

"There no time to be shock as we still have some problems to face." John said after seeing the rampaging Aragami and saw one of them was starting to evolve.

"I-It's evolving." Sakuya said after waking up after she saw the process of how the Aragami evolve with her own eyes. 

The Aragamis then became organized again after the birth of another evolve one.

"Tsk, John, we'll take the rest. Kill all those who evolve." Lindow said after seeing another evolve Aragami while also believing in John's power.

John then nodded before the battle started as he started shooting against the Aragamis coming towards them while the others were also doing their best to kill as many Aragami as possible.

---Sunset---

Far East Branch Headquarters,

"The mission was a success. Alisa Ilinichina Amiella and the other survivors are already on their way back here." Tsubaki reported towards Johannes on the monitor.

"That's good to know, just give me the report later." Johannes said as he wanted to know the details of the mission. 

"Yes, Sir." Tsubaki answered as she already knew about it.

"Well done, Wish them a safe journey." Johannes said before turning off the monitor.

On the plane,

John and others were now resting on inside after killing all the Aragami outside. They were now on their way back to the headquarters when suddenly Sakuya nervously reported something.

"Lindow, please respond! An Oracle reaction has been confirmed!" Sakuya said while looking at the device she was holding while still on the helicopter. 

Lindow asked if it was the same Aragami earlier but Sakuya denied that she's not sure as it was incredibly huge and was moving very fast towards them.

Lindow, John, and Alisa then came out to see it but Lindow already ordered Sakuya to leave the helicopter and use as a decoy which right after that, Sakuya and the pilot then jumped down while John and the others looked towards the helicopter heading to another place hoping that the unknown Aragami would follow it.

It didn't take long before they could finally see the Aragami that Sakuya was talking about. The others widened their eyes after seeing such huge Aragami and could only tell how huge and horrible it was. John, on the other hand, was smiling seeing it as he was very excited to roam the world after finishing his mission. 

After a while, they could knly sighed in relief before heading inside the plane after seeing the Aragami did not pursue them and followed the helicopter instead.

---Night---

Far East Branch Headquarters, 

The sky were already dark when John and the others arrived back to the base.

As of now, John, Sakuya, Iroha, and Shio were now eating on the cafeteria. It could be seen how hungry Sakuya was as she already ate a mouthful of food as they didn't have any rest while fighting the Aragamis. 

"John, did you really encountered an incredibly huge Aragami?" Iroha asked after hearing that they encountered a new one and a huge at that.

"Well, yeah. I saw Sakuya looked so afraid after seeing. Hahahaha" John said while laughing as he teased Sakuya.

"No, I'm not. And how did you know as you can't even see me." Sakuya said while denying what John said even though she was really afraid after seeing it earlier.

They then just laughed when a person suddenly joined their table. They looked at it and saw Alisa with some food on her tray sitting while starting to eat without even saying anything.

They looked at her for a while before they continue talking and eating. Alisa, on the other hand, was indifferent and was just listening to them while eating silently.

It was not until it was already night before they part ways. Shio and Iroha being already on John's room while John was now on Tsubaki's room.

Tsubaki room,

John and Tsubaki could now be seen naked on the bed while embracing each other.

"John, I read from the report that you used your weapon in another form to kill an Aragami. Director Johnanes would become more curious about yourself especially the weapon that you had. I think you need to be more cautious with him." Tsubaki worriedly said while drawing circles on John's chest. 

"There's no need to worry as they will often see it changing forms in the future." John said while caressing Tsubaki's head without even minding if the others knew it.

The then just enjoyed each other's warmth before Tsubaki suddenly got on top of John and started something that she wanted the most.

The room then was filled with loud moans and it lasted before midnight which John left Tsubaki lying comfortably on the bed with a satisfied expression as he was now on his way back to his room to rest.
