John, Shio and the others were now on their way for a mission. They were now on the vehicle while talking to each other especially Eric as he doesn't stop talking and asking John why would he allow Shio to come with them from time to time even now seeing her sitting on his lap harmlessly which John just laughed and didn't reply.

"We'll go in group again today. Alisa being with John and Sakuya's group, Kota being with Soma and Eric, while Lenka will be with me." Lindow announced which the others just nodded after hearing him. John, however think of another thing seeing that groupings has changed.

"Lenka, you might already know this but I will tell you again, remember this is your last chance." Lindow said while looking towards Lenka.

Lenka just nodded while clenching his fist as he knew about it as Major Amamiya told him that they will revoke his God Arc if he wouldn't improve.

"Today's target is Gboro-Gboro. Six of them. Each team will take two and don't fail to extract the core." Sakuya explained their mission for today to let the three members to get informed.

Right after that, they then continue moving their way towards their destination.

Abandoned place in the wasteland,

John and his group already arrived and now on their way to their hunting location.

"This will be easy an easy so just follow my orders."John suddenly said while walking together with his group. Sakuya didn't even complain even though she was the second-in command and just let John lead the group.

Alisa did not took his words and just mind her own busines while looking at the surroundings.

John saw her not interested and just let her be before he summoned Infinity and transformed it into a sword and casually cut the incoming Aragami in half.

[Small Type: Ogretail has been killed.]

[1 God Particle has been earned.]

[1,500 God Coins earned.]

[Small Core has been collected.]

After killing, John then summoned the core and gave it Sakuya which made Alisa shocked seeing how he got the core without devouring it or even search for it on its body.

"Let's finish this early and head back already as I still have things to do back in the headquarters." John said before he jumped up towards a tall building to see more of the place which Sakuya and Alisa also followed him from behind.

Moments later, Sakuya then spotted a group Gboro-Gboro which John ordered the group to stay put first.

John looked below and saw some Gboro-Gboro Sakuya walking in groups while other type of Aragamis were also in the vicinity. Though John and Sakuya could take them easily but this mission was not just about killing them but also to help the new members to have some cooperation and teamwork.

"Well, l--" Before John could finish Alisa already jumped down which the Aragamis became alarmed about her location.

John could only shook his head while looking at Alisa who was now being surrounded by the Aragamis on the ground.

"John, what should we do?" Sakuya said while frowning at Alisa's behavior seeing her acting recklessly without waiting for the instruction.

"Just let her be and only act when her life is in danger." John said while observing Alisa fighting the Aragamis.

Alisa on the ground did her best to deal with them, transforming her God Arc and do the best combo she could make while also evading their attacks at the same time which only shows that she really a bit of experience in fighting.

Time passed by, John and Sakuya could now see Alisa starting to slow down due to exhaustion after getting constant attack by the Aragamis added that there were more and more Aragamis that were coming towards her after hearing the chaos that was happening.

"John." Sakuya said after seeing Alissa got hit and flew back.

John looked at the situation and thought that this shouldn't had happen if she wasn't in her group or maybe because their location was a little bit far from the others or not the same as the original.

"Sakuya, give support." John then to transform Infinity into a spear before jumping right in front of Alisa.

Alisa hardly stood up and looked at John.

"I told you to wait for my orders." John said while looking at Alisa with disappointment even though he knew that this is her personality from the very start of the story. He then started to rushed towards the Aragami while Sakuya gave support from above while Shio just stand there lookimg at them.

Alisa didn't take John's words seriously and just gripped her God Arc as she thought that it only resulted to this situation because she was surrounded. She then could only watched John and Sakuya protecting while seeing how the two of them killing every single one of the Aragamis wich it didn't take long before they killed them all out.

Seeing that the situation was already okay, Sakuya decided to jumped down but became out of balance as an Aragami suddenly followed her from behind.

Sakuya could only widened her eyes seeing that she couldn't react on time, she was about to use her God Arc to defend when suddenly the Aragami was cut in half. Sakuya then looked towards the person who killed the Aragami and saw that it was other than Shio with her strange weapon before she safely fell on the ground.

Shio smiled before also jumping down and moved towards John and hugging him with her eyes full of expectation saying that she need a little rewards as she did a good job.

"Good job, Shio." John said while patting her head seeing that she just saved Sakuya from danger.

"T-That" Sakuya could not believe seeing Shio killing an Aragami as she always thought that she could not fight, more especially her weapon that she don't even know where it came from.

Alisa also looked at Shio and could not be helped but shocked seeing what she just did as she also thought the same as Sakuya.

"There no need to be that shock. Shio was strong even before."John said seeing their expresions.

John then looked towards Alisa before saying "Stronger than you."

John said those to make Alisa wake to the reality in hopes that she would change her attitude.

"Let's go." John said after they already finished their qouta and even collected much more.

Sakuya then followed while asking John and Shio some questions while Alisa stayed still as she looked at their back for a while before following them with her head down.

Somewhere in the same area,

Lindow and the others also did their best to help the new member especially Lindow who helped

Lenka how to devour using his God Arc.

Kota, on the other hand was having a hard time as he still did not have any experience fighting a real Aragami but with the help of Eric who was also a Gun Type like him, he was then starting to get the gist of it.

On the vehicle,

Lindow and the others were already heading back as the sun started to set but the atmosphere was very awkward for some reason after seeing Alisa having several cuts and bruises on her body.

"John, what happened to your side?" Lindow looked as he wanted to know how did Alisa get such wounds while he and and the others were fine. Soma and the rest also looked at him as they also wanted to know what happened.

"Alisa rushed towards the Aragamis without waiting for an order." Sakuya answered after seeing John didn't say a word.

"Did you not even help?" Lindow asked again while looking at Sakuya as he wanted to know the whole situation.

"No, we didn't as we wanted to leave it as a lesson and to make her realize that fighting recklessly will only lead to death." Sakuya answered while looking at Alisa through the mirror while still not forgetting the was she acted earlier.

They then looked at John who was patting Shio's head before looking back towards Alisa as they knew that it is originally her fault.

Lindow could only scratched his head after having another problem on how to explain it later back to the headquarters.

Alisa, on the other hand, just clenched her fists while listening to them with her head down as she doesn't want to look how they stared at her.

The atmosphere became heavy in instant when suddenly something came flying towards Alisa. Alisa caught it and then looked where it came from before seeing that it came from John.1

"Eat it." John said without even looking at her.

Lindow and the others also noticed this situation and looked on what John just threw to Alisa.

Alisa opened her hand and saw that it was an ordinary bean and thought why would John wanted her to eat it. She hesitated a bit before deciding to eat it.

Right after eating, it only took seconds before the wounds on Alisa's body closed and healed. Sakuya who was driving suddenly stop after seeing it while the others were also looking at her as they couldn't understand what just happened.

Seeing this, John just smiled after seeing that the magic bean that he bought still always come in handy. He actually was planning to gave her one all along as he also doesn't want to get scolded later back to the headquarters especially by her personal doctor.

"I hope you keep it a secret." John said after seeing them looking at him guessing what was running on their minds right now.

Upon hearing, Sakuya then continue driving while the others kept silent while having many questions but they could only swallowed and keep it their mind after seeing that John didn't want to explain a thing.

---Night---

Far East Branch Cafeteria,

John and the others arrived at night and was now in the cafeteria as Lindow being called in Johannes office while the others were already doing their own businesses.

On the other hand, John, Shio, Iroha, Sakuya, and Licca were already in the cafeteria eating dinner while Licca was asking what they did today as she was also curious about what was happening outside. John, however, was thinking what happened to those people they were supposed to meet today like the original story as they didn't meet them on their way back but he couldn't think of any reason and just let it be.

They then enjoyed the food before they part ways as Shio and Iroha already went back to John's room while John surprisingly followed Licca to her workshop.

Johannes's office,

Johannes, Lindow, and Tsubaki could be seen inside the office.

"How's the New-Types?"Johannes asked directly what's his purpose of calling Lindow here.

"Hmmm, Lenka was still improving but there's no harm to let him use the New-Type and I think he will do a great job later after seeing how eager he was to learn and to get stronger. Alisa, on the other were also doing great but her attitude and behaviour sometimes hindering the mission" Lindow answered what he and the others observed about them but dis not elaborate what really happened especially in Alisa.

"Nice work then. Continue to bring them to missions for them to get used to it." Johannes said before dismissing Lindow and Tsubaki.

On the elevator,

Tsubaki and Lindow were silently standing inside waiting for the elavator to stop.

"I know something must have happened, what is it?" Tsubaki asked as she had a feeling that something must had happened earlier seeing how quiet her brother and the others was after coming back to the base.

"Ohh, A lot of things happened earlier." Lindow said as it was no harm to tell her sister the truth.

Lindow then explained in detail what really happened while Tsubaki's expression were changing every time.

"I think It would be better to ask John in person later." Tsubaki said after hearing only a small detail about what happened.

"Sister, Is there something going on with the two of you?" Lindow asked as he noticed that his sister become interested every time John was in the topic.

"I'm one of his lovers." Tsubaki said the truth before leaving the elevator first after seeing it opened.

Lindow, on the other hand was surprised while looking at her sister's back as he could not believe what she just said but he did not ponder more about it as they were already old na just let her be but the one thing that bugged him was hearing that she's only one of John's lover which only means that John still have more. Lindow then just shook his and doesn't want to think about anymore before he also got out of the elevator and leave somewhere.

Licca's workshop,

John and Licca could be found standing in front some machine.

"John, where did you get this sword?" Licca suddenly asked while looking at the sword on the machine.

"Its a secret." John replied while keeping the truth of where he get the sword. John's purpose of coming in Licca's workshop was to asked her if she could get data about the sword.

"Hmm. Well, no matter how the machine scan it, it doesn't give responses and could only perceived it as an ordinary sword." Licca then told him the result that the machine provided seeing that he doesn't want to share something about the sword.

"That's good then." John said after hearing what she said as it would mean that there's no harm if they would steal and research it as this will be the gift that she wanted to give to Iroha later on.

John then grabbed the sword while appreciating it as he bought it for approximately 35,000,000 God Coins in the store.

"Is it the same with your weapon John?" Licca suddenly asked as she thought that it must be the same type.

"No, It's not." John replied because it was one of the swords that a certain person used in some world in the universe.

"Is there something special about it then?" Licca asked again thinking that it must be special after seeing how John looked at it.

"Yeah." John said before he try using the sword which made Licca shocked after seeing what it did.

On the training room,

After heading back, Alisa directly head to the training after eating dinner as she wanted to released her pent up frustration

Right now, Alisa could be seen fighting several Aragami while being surrounded just like what happened back in their mission but it only took a minute before she got hit by one of Aragamis before the virtual training ends. She then grabbed her God Arc and remembered what John's disappointed look before standing up to try again.
