Chapter 102 - Ouroboros

Base Camp,

Lindow could now be seen fighting several Aragamis but looking closely, he was already full of blood as he fought the incoming Aragamis for quite some time now and would fell down any moment as he also already took several injuries on his body.

"Damn you all!" Lindow cursed as he lifted his God Arc but was stopped after being hit by one of the Aragami which he flew back and was crashed towards a vehicle.

"To think, I would die like this." Lindow said as he couldn't move his body anymore and was now only waiting for his death. He forced his hand to move to grabbed some cigarette as he wanted to taste it for the last time.

Lindow looked around and saw one of Vajra already charging ready to attack when suddenly he saw it getting froze and then was cut it in half afterwards.

Lindow looked at the person who did it and smiled after seeing him.

"I thought you wouldn't come." Lindow said before losing consciousness.

John who just arrived immediately head towards him and made him drink and eat something which moments later just like magic, all his wounds suddenly close and his pale face started returning back to normal but still in unconscious state.

John then looked back again to face the Aragamis which several sounds of fighting then could be heard throughout the place before seeing that it was Iroha and the others.

"Ready and prepare for battle." John said as he threw something on them which they eat it directly.

A fight then broke out again but this time was to defend the base camp. Though John knew how to stop this swarming Aragamis but he just let it be as he wanted more and more Aragami to come and even if he destroy it, it was now very late as they already surrounded the place.

John and the others then fight them nonstopped while also reporting back to the headquarters. They took quite a lot of time before the rest of the other team arrived on the base but instead of helping, they could not moved as they felt too shocked seeing the whole place became like a frozen land seeing several ice blocks surrounding the base camp.

"What are you all doing, this is not time to be shock. We need to protect this place!!!" Sakuya shouted after seeing that the rest of teams were staying in place unlike her team who was already fighting with them.

The rest of the teams then woke up and remembered the reason why they head here and start doing their best to help them.

Hours passed before Sakuya and the other teams arrived at the center of the camp and reunited with John's unit.

"John, what's the situation?" Sakuya got closed to John and asked something.

"It's pretty good." John replied while smiling but this cause confusion to Sakuya seeing what's good in their situation.

"Tsubaki, are there more Aragamis coming here?" John asked Tsubaki from the headquarters as he wanted to know if it was now time for him to destroy the thing that calling them.

"There were still a large number of Aragami coming on your way." Tsubaki replied back seeing that there were more and more Aragamis coming towards the base camp.

"It's good then." John said before holding Infinity on his hand again.

"Tell the others that if we survive this wave, we can leave this place alive and also finish the mission at the same time." John said to Sakuya before he took his leave as he rushed forwards towards the Aragamis

Seeing this, Sakuya then immediately relayed his message which then boost the moral of the God Eaters as they started another round of kiling again.

Chaos occupied the whole the place as John almost took care all of them as he was running all around killling them while using some skills at the same time whick makes the other teams to get surprised and admired him especially after seeing him breathing fire like a dragon. They didn't even found it strange as the amazement preside their curiousity.

The fight lasted until sunset which the others could now catch up their breath with the other mending the wounds of God Eaters while looking on how beautiful the sunset was.

"It finally ended." Sakuya said while looking at the surrounding before realizing that John wasn't around.

Iroha and the other also did the same as they started calling him out after being worried about something must had happened to him.

Somewhere in the place,

John could be seen sitting on a glacier while smiling hard after seeing the notifications.

John smiled seeing this but the surprised didn't stop as another notification popped up.

[Restrictions were now lifted.]

After seeing, John then felt something had injected through his body but he just smiled after feeling that it was his former power that came back.

Right after that, John then immediately looked in the sky smiling like crazy.

Back to the Base Camp,

In the midst of searching, Lindow who was unconscious suddenly woke up. He looked around and saw how bad the place had become while looking towards the God Eaters lying on the ground catching their breath. He then looked around and saw Sakuya and the rest of his unit.

"Sakuya, what happened?" Lindow asked as he was confused why he's still alive.

"Lindow, good to see you're back." Sakuya replied seeing Lindow woken up. She then started telling him what happened during the time he was unconscious which surprises Lindow knowing that John almost did the work.

Upon knowing everything, Lindow then looked back again on the surroundings before thinking where did he go.

"Why can't I find John?" Lindow suddenly asked Sakuya while looking at Iroha and the others with worried faces.

"We still keep on searching on him." Sakuya worriedly replied as even now, they still couldn't find him.

Sakuya was about to move and search for John again when someone from the headquarters suddenly reported.

"This is headquarters, all God Eaters in the camp. Immediately leave the place. I repeat, all God Eater in the camp, immediately leave the place!!." Tsubaki from the headquarters shoutedly reported while looking at what they saw in the monitor which all of the them in the monitoring hall could not help but looked in horror after seeing a huge Aragami reading heading toward the camp.

Sakuya and the others heard it all and was shocked by the sudden order but before they could question back they couldn't help but looked at the sky after hearing some screech which the sky suddenly turn dark.

Lindow and the rest of the God Eaters widened their eyes after seeing a very huge Aragami in the sky heading towards them which the others already fell down on the ground with tears flowing on their eyes.

"T-Thats." Kota couldn't help but fell down on the ground while shaking in fear seeing the giant Aragami in the sky.

Lindow also felt shocked seeing it before he just find and lit his cigarette while looking at the Aragami.

"Sakuya, where's John?" Tsubaki from the base suddenly asked as he was only the person she could hope for.

"I don--." Sakuya did not finished her words after feeling some just held her shoulder all of the sudden.

"I'm here, Tsubaki." John replied as he smiled while looking at the huge Aragami.

Sakuya and the others all took a glance at him while doubting if he was really John. They looked at him with surprised seeing a very big change as if he was a different person. 1

"Leave that monster to me." John said as he walked and took some distance from them.

Sakuya and the others couldn't even say anything and just looked at him as they were still lost in thought.

John looked at his status first, skimming through it while massaging his arms as he couldn't help but want to unleash his power.

John then just casually waved his hand but it cause a destruction to the place he was waving at. He could only wryly smiled as he could not still adjust from the power that came back to him.

Sakuya and the others on the hand looked at the destruction that John made and could only gulped seeing that his casual wave of hand caused a large knife-like cut on the place.

John closed his eyes for a while before he suddenly motioned his hand to write something while a spirit ring suddenly glowed out on his back.

A dragon with a single eye suddenly came out and roared loudly after being called in the surface.

John looked at Koku and thought how good it was to see it again. He then pointed towards the Aragami in the sky.

"Koku, burn it." John ordered which right after that Koku then started accumulating fire and it grows quickly as it was now big enough to cover the base camp.

After accumulating enough fire, Koku then unleashed his attack in a form of beam of fire towards the Aragami.

Koku's attack caused a disturbance in the air as it flew all the dead bodies on the ground which even Sakuya and the others were already holding into something to stand their ground while looking what the dragon that came out from John did.

It didn't take long for the attack to stop and all they could see now was how beautiful and clear the sky was before looking towards John who was standing in the distance like a God.

John smiled after hearing the notifications as looked back at them first before vanishing from the place.

"John." Sakuya murmured after seeing John vanished in instant. Though she had a lot of questions to ask but seeing the huge Aragami disappeared in the sky, she could could only tell that it's finally over this time.

Somewhere in the Aegis Island,

Two people could be seen looking towards a strange thing while talking to each other.

"So this Ark Nova looked like in person." Someone suddenly said while towards a person like Aragami in the place.

The two couldn't help but looked where the voice came from and was shocked to see how did the person came here.

"Surprise to see me, Johannes?" The person asked while smiling. This person was actually John who used Instant Transmission directly to appear in Johannes location.

"Why are you here... No. How did you even came here?" Johannes asked while being surprised to see the person he didn't expect to see in such a place.

"Oohh, did you think those Aragamis could kill me. How naive, Johannes." John replied while looking at the Ark Nova and thought how beautiful and horrible it was in person.

Suddenly, the other person took out something but before he could not do anything after seeing that he couldn't move anymore.

"How surprising to see you here too, Dr Oguruma." John said as he thought that Dr. Oguruna might change his mind this time and wouldnt get persuaded by Johannes but he then thought that an antagonist will always be antagonist throughout his life.

"Johannes, are you really curious of who and where I came from right?" John asked as he knew that it must still be this that was bugging Johannes after coming to the Far East Branch.

"Well, remember this. I am John Hendrix, successor of the only True God." John introduced himself again before the place suddenly getting hot.

Johannes and the other person widened their eyes after hearing him as they couldn't believe that John really introduced himself as the successor of the only True God as they didn't fully believe that God even exist in the world.

The two then just stay still there watching the place started to get hotter and hotter while looking intently at John which they then saw him casually punched the Ark Nova.

"1,000 Ren Kugi Punch." John used an ability which it immediately took an effect as it already created surreal sounds but the power behind it was stronger than he thought as it also destroyed the whole place on the process.

"T-That." Johannes murmured while looking at how John's casual punch slowly destroyed the whole place together with the project that took him years to prepare into nothingness.

After seeing that the whole place was destroyed John then looked back at them before tounching them and vanished in the island.

Back to the Base Camp,

John together with Johannes and Dr. Oguruma could be found back to where John came from and was now facing Sakuya and the others while the latter were also doing the same.

"Fenrir, White Fang, Raikou, Suicune, come out." John said before four mighty and intimidating creatures suddenly appeared behind his back.

Johannes and the rest of the people in the place couldn't help but looked at them seeing how big they were while thinking how did they appear all of the sudden.

"Kill every Aragami that you can find."John ordered which the four then directly leave the place and each took the opposite position.

John looked at Sakuya and the others while smiling before saying "Let's head back."
