This woman was no other than Albedo, the overseer of the all guardian of the Great Tomb of Nazarick from the world of Overlord.

In the center of the training field, a huge man could be seen pointing his sword towards the incoming soldiers while protecting the people behind him despite already having several wounds on his body.

Seeing the huge man was about to fall, the invading soldiers then immediately rushed forward together to end this one and for all but they suddenly stopped after hearing a very loud voice.

"Y-You lowly pieces of trash, my master was now on his way here yet you were trying to destroy this peace of land!" Albedo who just arrived on the city angrily said making all the poeple of the place to hear her voice.

"I'll let you taste how it was in hell. I'll kill you all!" Albedo said before rushing forward swinging her weapon killing every invading that she could saw.

Right after that, the city then was filled with chaos again as the invading soldiers redirected their attention towards Albedo wanting to kill her.

The huge man and the people behind him looked at how the unknown person kill every soldiers of Kou Empire before thinking that it must their lord that the person was talking.

Not long after Albedo arrived, another crashing sound then also could be heard which four strange creature then started rampaging in the city but what us strange is that the one that causing so much damage was a small one girl seeing her kicks made some air shock and knocking out several soldier and even destroy some building on the process.

"You did great, Goltas." A voice sounded on the training field which a man riding a shadow giant bird landed down on the ground.

"It's Lord John!!." The peole behind the huge man named Goltas cried in joy after seeing that it was really their Lord which they then got happy seeing that the problem would now be solved.

Seeing John, Goltas couldnt help but also became happy but he then immediately fainted and fell on the ground after loosing too much blood.

John smiled as he looked at the sinner Goltas of the past who was now a dignified chief guard that protect his city. Seeing him on the ground, he then immediately ordered the other guards to help him which even the people also assisted as it was all because of him that they were still alive.

John smiled after seeing this before placing some kind of bean on Goltas's and forced it all the way to his stomach.

"Let Goltas rest and leave the rest to us." John said before disappearing.

Palace Hall,

It only took several minutes before the thousands soldiers of Kou were completely annhilated seeing several dead bodies that were piled up and was being burned by the people of the city but they didn't knew that John already made good use of the dead bodies. Since the sun was still up, the people also start rebuilding the place while some were mourning from the dead of their family member.

Right now, John and the rest were on the palace talking seriously upon something but the people inside couldn't properly focused seeing Albedo staring at them like as if she would devour them in any minute.

John listened to every detail while looking at them having several expression of hatred while cursing at Kou. He also asked about the casualties this time which one of Kouga Warriors then reported everything.

"By the way, Lord John, A merchant named Sinbad came here in the past together with two other people with him introducing themselves as your Lord's acquaintance." One Artemyra woman said after remembering that something like that happened two months ago.

"Ooohhh, tell me more about it." John said before the Artemyra woman told him that Sinbad didn't really do anything as he just visited and stay for the night before leaving again.

After hearing it, John and the rest then started talking about the current affairs of the city while also discussing on how to fortify the country not wanting to let this thing happen again.

"About the defense, there no need for that as I planned to leave my subordinate Albedo here and act as the Lord." John said as this was really his planned all along after luckily summoning her.

After John said those words, Albedo who was somewhere in the palace immediately ran and looked with shocked on John hearing him leaving her here alone in this deserted city.

"There's nothing to worry then. If you'll excuse us, Lord John" One of the people inside the place immediately said which everyone then also bid their farewell upon seeing Albedo furiously looking at them and started leaving one by one.

"Master, how cruel of you leaving your servant here alone." Albedo immediately expressed her emotions seeing her already kneeling down in front of John while hugging her waist.

"Albedo, the people of this country needs someone to protect and to govern them and I couldn't find some someone whose fit for the role other than you." John said while caressing her head seeing her acting like that.
