444: Queen Quinn

Queen Quinn

  Quinn sat up suddenly in the middle of the night and crawled to her father's space, crawled over his chest, and went back to sleep. It woke Connor so he patted her back and sighed. Then, he moved sideways to transfer her in his arms. He reached the rechargeable mini-fan and focused it on her since she was sweating so much. Babies tend to sweat even though the AC was on. 

"Mama…" Quinn mumbled and she suddenly giggled. He looked down at her. She's asleep. She's probably dreaming but it was adorable. 

"I miss her too." He whispered and kissed her temple. 

  In the morning, the sun seeped through the curtains as Quinn pushed herself up and reached her father's nose and grabbed it. Then, she reached for her stuffed toy and placed it over her father's chest. She yawned and smacked Connor's chest. He groaned in pain and opened his eyes. 

"Ow," he mumbled. "Why are you awake early?" He patted her head and then to his chest. "Come, let's sleep again." 

  She lay on his chest and hugged him. Connor stared at the ceiling as he thought of Johanna. She's sure that Johanna will do the same and snuggle with him. He missed her dearly and he wished that she would be with them soon. 

  Quinn lifted her head and pointed his nose. 

"Hungry?" he patted her head. "Oh! I forgot that it's your tea party." He pulled her and kissed her cheeks. She giggled and screamed. 

"Kin-Kin!" Kal knocked on the door. "Kin-kin. Foodie!" 

"Oh, your noisy cousin is here." He sat up and took Quinn to the door. He opened it as Kal got in with a big smile. "Good morning, Kal." 

"Sunny!" Kal replied and lifted his arm to Quinn. He put Quinn down as she flopped her butt down on the floor. She shouted and Connor picked her up again. 

"I will change her diapers, just wait, Mr. Kaleaona." 

"Kay." Kel entered and looked at Johanna's photo. "Tata! Kin-Kin, Mimi." 

"Yup. She's beautiful, right?" Connor grinned as he changed Quinn's diaper. Then, he put her down as she flopped her butt on the floor again. She shouted as Kal ran to her and tried to carry her. Connor smiled as he disposed of the diaper. Then, he opened the curtains and turned off the air conditioner. He then opened the windows to let the fresh air in. 

"Kin-Kin, Ay!" Kal frowned when Quinn didn't want to get up. 

"I got it." Connor chuckled and picked up Quinn as he took her downstairs with Kal. 

"Hi, Quinn!" Travis greeted Quinn while he patted Kal's head.

"Hello, Queen!" Adamson greeted but Quinn wasn't even greeting them. She was a snob. 

"She's a snob," Connor whispered to them. 

"We could see that." Travis snickered. 

"Kin-Kin." Finella waved at Quinn. Quinn giggled and waved back. 

  He put Quinn on her high chair. 

"Connor, Ian," Violet called. 

"Just a moment." Connor put the belt on Quinn as he followed Ian and Violet back inside. 

  They went to the mini-conference room. He sat down and yawned. 

"I haven't brushed my teeth yet." He grumbled and covered his mouth. 

"No one's gonna give you a French kiss in here," Violet said harshly as she sat down and turned on the hologram as Harvey, Ace, and Leon's faces popped up. 

"Hello, team!" Ace grinned and he looked past the camera. "I will be there, babe. Give thirty minutes. Don't sleep yet." 

  Everyone sneered at him. 

"Stop showing a lot of affection to her in front of our meeting!" Leone exclaimed. 

"Don't you have a wife?" Ace smirked. 

"Alright, let's get back to the main topic." Violet interrupted. It was a twenty minutes discussion. Currently, the Charles Empire wasn't a big threat to them but the Serpent. Kennedy isn't showing aggression toward their Empire. He was more focused on the business and only fulfilling a few things for the Serpent. They are increasing their power and it is indeed a big, big problem.

  After Maxine bathes Levina and Quinn, she takes them back to the playroom. Ella approached Quinn and clapped her hands after seeing her wearing a beautiful purple dress. 

"Wow," Kal approached Quinn and reached the fabric of her dress. "Pretty, Kin-Kin. Pretty, Vivi." He also reached for Levina's hand. 

"You looked handsome too, Kal." Maxine fixed Kal's collar. 

"I set up the table!" Cole said. Maxine smiled at him. 

"That's great, Cole." 

"This is Quinn's seat because she's a Queen." 

"Oh, that's sweet of you." 

  Quinn got to her feet and walked to Victor instead. Victor picked Quinn up and kissed her fat cheeks. Then, he placed her over his lap and turned on the television as a Japanese cartoon started playing from Ghibli Studio. My Neighbor Totoro. It's a classic movie and everyone sat down as Ella sat beside Victor to get close to Quinn. Victor put his arm on Ella as they watched. 

"Would they understand that?" Adamson asked who leaned behind Victor. 

"Kal knows how to speak in Japanese. A little bit." Victor said. 

"Oh?" Adamson looked impressed. "Kal, speak to me in Japanese." 

  Kal looked at him as Kal pointed at the television. 

"Kal, say hi in Japanese." 

  Kal stood as he bowed. 

"Kon'nichiwa."

  Adamson gaped. 

"Wow." He mumbled. Kal said something again as Adamson already knew that it was in Japanese but he only understood half of it. Then, Kal sat on his mini sofa with Cole. 

  Quinn was busy watching the movie while she was playing on Victor's hand at the same time. Suddenly, Kal went to Victor's other side and patted his hand. 

"I want, Didi." 

  Victor moved Quinn to his life lap to give Kal what he wanted. He crawled over his lap and leaned on him. Quinn suddenly smacked Kal. Kal was too surprised by Quinn's attack. Quinn shouted at Kal. 

"My didi!" Kal shouted back. 

"Calm down." Victor stopped them. Quinn was still glaring at Kal but Kal looked up at his fathers with tears. "I'm sorry, Kal." He kissed his forehead. "Don't shout back at Quinn, okay? Don't cry." He coaxed him. 

"Why are those two always fighting? I thought they were best friends." Keira asked. 

"Tell me about it." Maxine shook her head. "Quinn is too much. The attitude and all." 

"Right. I am starting to think that Johanna named her Quinn meant to be Queen." 

"I think Connor was the one who named her." Maxine tilted her head. 

"Anyway, they look adorable," Alicia whispered as she filmed Kal and Quinn who were glaring at each other. 

"I think Quinn isn't the only one that is going to bully Kal," Keira whispered to her.  0

"What's the deal with the bullying and stuff?" Arianna whispered to them. 

  The girls giggled as Alicia explained to her how Kal bullied her husband. Sophia and Arianna were surprised. Speaking of, they haven't seen Leon that much. Kal giggled with Cole as Quinn stared at them. Then, she looked up at Victor as Victor smiled down at her. 

"Quinn is weird but adorable," Arianna said. 

"She got that big attitude but she's kind of—kind," Keira said as she watched Quinn smack Kal suddenly. Kal pouted and Quinn looked up at Victor. 

"Quinn, that's bad," Victor told her. She pouted like she was going to cry and she faced the television. 

"Quinn!" Leon exclaimed. 

  Quinn screamed and clapped her hands as she looked at Leon. 

"Hello, little Queen." Leon waved at him. Then, he sat beside Alicia and kissed her cheeks. 

"Love, watch as Quinn bullies Kal." She said and showed the clip of Quin. 

"Cool." He said as he looked at Quinn who was looking up at Victor. Victor is then telling Quinn about the bad things that she is doing. She was pouting so much while Victor was lecturing her. Then, Quinn kissed Kal.

"Lab-lab, Kin-Kin." Kal hugged her but Quinn pushed him. 

"That's my little Queen." Leon cheered up in a low voice. "This is why I love watching them fight." 

  She pushed Kal's face again and looked up at Victor with those adorable pouts like she was going to cry. 

"Kal, don't invade her space," Victor told Kal who stopped. 

  Quinn crawled down from Victor's lap as she crawled toward her seat. Cole, on the other hand, helped Quinn to her seat as she smacked the table and leaned on her mini sofa seat, and put her feet over the table. 

  Leon snorted while he was trying to cover up his mouth from laughing so hard. Quinn relaxes as nothing else matters. Like she owns the world. Ella slipped off of the bed and approached her mom. She pointed to a drink. Sophia gave her one but she asked for one more. Then, she ran to Quinn and gave one to her as she slouched on the bean bag. Quinn smiled and looked at Leon. Then, she lifted her drink. 

  Leon stood and put a straw on it. He also did the same for Ella. Then, he pulled the bean bag couch and sat beside Quinn. 

"Ugly!" Kal shouted suddenly as they all looked at him. 

  Arianna and Sophia looked at each other. 

"Did he just say that clearly?" Sophia asked. 

"Yup. He did." Keira and Alicia giggled. 

  Quinn shouted back at him. 

"No, you, Uc-cle!" Kal shouted back at her. 

  Quinn glared at him and Kal showed his tongue at her. Then, Quinn's lips wobbled, and then she looked at Leon. 

"Oh, Quinn. Don't mind him. Okay?" Leon patted her head.
