Emergency

  Johanna was staring at nowhere while she was soaked in a jacuzzi with her suit on. She's in the middle of the bathroom and there were a lot of people watching her. She had the half piece of the stone in front of her. This time it is real and anyone who comes close to it, won't think twice about pulling the trigger. Not even Janella. 

"So, what makes you like this?" Kennedy asked. "What happened out there? I couldn't get a single signal and the recordings were messed up." 

"It was crazy…" She mumbled. "Can I go now? Back to my family?" She asked him. "I got the last piece." 

  Kennedy was about to nod his head when Janella placed her hand over his arm. Then, Johanna cocked the gun and pointed it at her. Then, she held the gem closer to her. 

"What do you plan to do with this?" Johanna asked. 

"Why is it broken?" Janella crossed her arms. 

"Do you think it's easy to fight the Guardian?" Johanna tilted her head. "You are a daughter of a bitch!" 

  Janella gritted her teeth as she moved closer but Johanna already pointed the muzzle of her gun at the woman's forehead. 

"Move away, bitch." Johanna gritted her teeth. "I will give this to you, or…" She lifted the bomb. "We will all burst."

"Fine, what do you want?" 

"Since I am done with my mission, I want to leave with the kids who want to go with me." 

  Janella frowned as she stood straight and turned to Kennedy. 

"We will die. Together with this gem." 

"You fucking, psycho." Janella snarled at her. 

"So, are we going to get this on? I don't have much time. I want Alexa, Jade, Jamie, and Yves. If the other two wanted to be with me, then done. I want those kids to be with me when I leave this place. Your time starts now." 

"You need to get the real gems, first." 

"I don't have a fucking time!" Johanna glared at her. "I want out right now, or else. I will blow this fucking facility." 

"She's not joking," Kennedy said as he remained calm. "Kids," he called as the children lined up. "For those who want to go with Hannah Grace, you can pack." 

"Don't need to pack." She scoffed. "I can provide. My adopted family is rich. Hella~~Rich." She emphasized everything to Janella. 

  Kennedy didn't know why Johanna became like this. He knew that Johanna was a very dangerous person. She could kill them all and she would have survived, risking everyone in here. 

"People's safety is what we need to prioritize." Kennedy pulled away Janella. "I will set up a car for you and who you want it to drive." 

"Well, that's all." She smiled as she stood. But her smile faded as the kids followed her. No guards stopped her. She even undressed her suit and changed into the suit that Connor provided. The kids followed her and Gray was waiting outside with his van. 

"What are you doing here?" She asked him. The guards were scramming inside as a lot of people evacuated since she planted bombs all around in a very short time. 

"Since I want to see you, I am coming with you. I mean, it's fun. Right?" 

  She rolled her eyes. But they didn't have time as they left the facility. Then, she called Ken as she disabled the bomb in front of him. They already found a few of the bombs but they have no idea that there were a lot more of them. 

"Those snakes are your problem now." She told Kennedy. "I don't have more time to play with you all." 

"I understand," Kennedy answered. Then, she hung up and slid the phone into her pocket. 

"Since when did you have that phone?" 

"It's mine. My hubby bought it." 

"Oh," Gray nodded his head. 

  Johanna exhaled as she calmed herself. She needs to get home right away.

Three hours ago,

  Connor was panicking when his daughter started vomiting and had a high temperature. Violet gives her first aid but they take Quinn to the hospital. He didn't know what to do at the moment so he called Johanna multiple times. When he reached her, he explained everything to her as they took samples from Quinn to test her. They are still waiting but since she didn't stop vomiting, he needs to hold her as they put dextrose on her. She kept crying and calling her mother and it broke his heart. 

  After an hour, she stopped vomiting but she still had diarrhea but it stopped after a few minutes. It takes time for her to stop crying since she's not feeling better. When the result came, it was said that there were bad bacteria and there might be food that she ate that caused her to vomit. It was a mild food poisoning so Connor quickly had someone investigate the kitchen. Mostly, Maxine would give them food but none of the kids had the same symptoms as Quinn. 

"Are you doing well now, baby?" Connor asked her as he changed her diapers again. 

"Mama…" She reached his hand and played with his smartwatch. "Mama," She said clearly as she swiped and swiped something. Connor showed her a photo of her mother on her smartwatch. She smiled and clapped her hands and winced and pouted at him with tears. 

"I'm sorry." He kissed her forehead. He checked her hand. They put support so she won't be able to pull it. It was easy for him to tell her not to pull it since she obeyed him. 

"Nana~~" She pouted at him. 

"I'm sorry, baby. Nana is in another country." 

  He took her water with medicine on it to keep her hydrated and she sipped on it. She smiled at him and sipped again. 

"Nam~~nam." 

"That's good." 

  He stayed with her for hours until she fell asleep. Her temperature went back to normal after sweating. The medicine worked well and Violet checked on her multiple times while Victor was in the mansion to check about Quinn's food history for twenty-four hours, including her milk. Shortly, Keira arrived as she approached the sleeping baby. 

"How is she?" Keira asked. "I couldn't get here hours ago because Calli was crying." 

"It's fine. Quinn is doing fine now. She's slowly recovering." 

"She lost weight." Keira sighed. "I don't know what I should give her. But Victor is currently checking the cameras. The food that they ate was only from the Chef of the mansion, from Maxine's cooking…" Keira reached Quinn's small hand. "But we also ate it so, I think it's not from that." 

"Yes, that's what I thought too," Connor mumbled. "Someone might have given Quinn something or maybe she picked something." 

"Yup, it was all in the recordings." Keira bent down and kissed Quinn's forehead. 

  Suddenly, Quinn woke up and started crying. Connor gently hushed her as he gently picked her up and hushed her. 

"Okay, I will check on what I can do." 

"She will be fine," Connor told her. "Violet said that she will be able to go out in no time. Right, Quinn." 

  Quinn hugged his neck and kept mumbling 'mama'. It made Keira's heartache. Johanna would be here if it wasn't for the Charles Empire or that Serpent. She was a little furious at them. But sooner or later, she will join the planning on how to stop them. Suddenly, the door burst open. Keira gaped at Johanna wearing a suit. She rushed to Connor. 

"Babe," Connor was also surprised. Quinn turned and squealed. 

"Quinn!" Johanna was crying when she carefully reached Quinn and gave her a lot of kisses. 

"Mama!" Quinn hiccuped with an adorable pout as she hugged Johanna's neck. 

"I'm sorry," Johanna sniffled. 

  Keira smiled admiring the family as Connor hugged his girls and kissed Johanna's forehead. Then, she just noticed that there was a man outside who looked bewildered. She titled his head and stared at the man who mouthed a curse. 

"You have a child?" Gray exclaimed as Johanna wiped her tears. 

"Why is that ass here?" Connor asked Johanna. 

"He's my play toy. Don't worry."  0

"I am not your play toy." The man exclaimed. 

"Wait for ~~" Keira approached the man. "You look familiar." 

"Woah!" He stepped back and stared at her, scanning her from head to toe. "You are alive?" 

"No. I'm a ghost." Keira told her. "They can't see me. But you can see me." 

  Gray approached her and poke her arm. Then, he nearly screamed. 

"Dumb ass." Keira rolled her eyes. "I'm going to call Mom and take this man away." 

"Yeah, take that perv." Connor was still glaring at Gray as Keira pushed the man and shut the door. 

"What the hell? That man is Johanna's husband?" 

"Fiance. They are going to get married." 

"So, that woman lied to me. They are not married?" He asked as he walked with her in the corridor. 

"Precisely. Johanna is a good liar." Keira bounced her head. 

"He's pretty handsome. More handsome than Griffin." 

"Griffin?" She asked. 

"Yup, Lefebure." 

"Oh," Keira snapped. Then she realized the most important part... "Why are you here again?" She asked. 

"Well, I am in love with Johanna so, here I am." 

"Hmm," Keira shook her head. 

"Your highness, why are you even alive?" Gray asked. He stopped and looked at her from head to toe. "I am sure that the old man might get a heart attack that would cause his death." 

"Hmm," Keira shrugged. "So, who are you?" 

"I am your, Uncle." Gray patted her head. She thought that he was lying but he looked dead serious.
