Motherhood

  She lay down with her baby who stopped crying while her fiancé was kissing her cheeks and rubbing her sides. 

"I will get you clothes." He kissed her lips as she kissed back. "I will be quick." 

"Please," She smiled at him. Then, she looked down at Quinn who kept staring at her and smiling at her. "So, you want to get sick and want me rushed in here, huh?" She spoke to Quinn while Connor left the room. 

"Ohh," Quinn cooed. Then, she pointed to her nose. "Pay~~Ka-kal…okane." 

"You pay Kal with money?" She asked. 

"Si~~" 

"Why?" She asked while admiring her baby. 

"K-broom-broom." 

"Okay. You can just ask Kal." 

"Ka-Kal, cy~~cry." 

"Oh, have you said sorry?" 

"Sowee, Ka-kal." 

"Very good." She closed her eyes and held Quinn protectively. "Mommy is tired, Quinn. Can we sleep?" 

"Seep~~seep." She covered her eyes. 

"Thank you, baby." 

  She secretly reached for the gun under the pillow as she remained to hug her baby in her arms. She closed her eyes and monetarily fell asleep. She felt the door open as she opened her eyes and her reflexes were fast as she pointed her gun at the door. Connor sighed and lifted the bags. 

"Babe, it's me. You are safe here." 

  Johanna relaxes as she looks down at Quinn who was sleeping. 

"You can change your clothes into something comfortable." He put the bag over the table as he pulled out a pair of pajamas. "Also, I have soup for you. If you are still lactating it will be better for Quinn so I have milk that will help you with lactating. But since you are tired, you can just drink this and sleep. I will stay with you here." 

"Thank you." Johanna gently slipped off from Quinn and she pulled the blanket over Quinn's chest. 

  She approached Connor, hugged him, kissed him passionately, and murmured her love. Then, she took the clothes and went to the bathroom. Connor sighed while looking at the door that she shut. He looked like a puppy while looking at her. He set up the table for her meal then, he put the bag inside the cabinet and approached their baby on the bed. She was sleeping peacefully. 

  He sat on the bed and just realized that Johanna might cause terror in the Charles Empire just to get here. He also noticed that the kids are with them. The kids somehow received an operation on their way here from Gray to remove the tracker injected in their ears. Currently, the kids are in the facility as they undergo tests and detox. 

  Shortly, Johanna came out and she sat down to eat her soup and drink the milk that Connor gave her. After she finished her food, Johanna locked the door, approached her husband as she straddled him, and pressed him on the bed. Connor was grinning as he rubbed her butt. 

"Hey, Quinn is sleeping." 

"But you need to massage my breast so we can provide her milk." 

  He nearly laughed but he covered his mouth. 

"You are naughty."

  Keira continuously chatted with Gray as they were on their way to check on the kids that Johanna took with her. Somehow, the two become chat buddies as Keira listens to him on how he became her Uncle. Somehow, Gray was Karmina's youngest cousin. Her role was to become part of Lefebure to spy and work for them. Although Lefebure wasn't convinced, Gray was still a child when he became their spy. But he was smart and a genius. They educated him as he excelled in everything. 

  She was in a second thought about that because he acts so normal and casual, unlike other geniuses who would use very formal speeches and a lot of puzzling jargon. She can't determine yet if he was lying or using her psychology reverse or something. 

"I am not lying." He said. "You can call Karmina if you want." 

"Then, I heard that you kissed my sister. Johanna is my sister." 

"Hannah Grace is not your sister. The two of you are not blood-related." He crossed his arms. 

"She's going to get married." 

"I can still stop that." 

"Like hell? You can't even stop that. My sister isn't even sexually attracted to you. She's only attracted to Connor. Also, she doesn't even  have interest in my super attractive husband." 

  Gray crossed his arms as he thought deeply. 

"You are right. I only have a zero percent chance." 

"That zero percent chance means failure," Keira concluded. 

"Well, I will be just here to hang around with these kids. These kids are my main patient, including Cole." 

"Cole is doing well." Keira crossed her arms. "Look. I can provide a guest house close to the mansion. You can live with these kids for a while and be their good guardian, while we are sorting out new decisions." 

"You can take your time. Tell Karmina that I am back. Okay?" He grinned and patted her. "Now, be a good girl and go back to your husband." 

  She rolled her eyes and left anyway. When she got back, Victor looked furious so she looked at her husband who mouthed her to move away. Keira didn't speak to Victor so she stepped away and let Victor do the investigation. She approached her husband to ask her. 

"Victor said that they found someone who gave Quinn a different food at the party when no one was looking. It was a nanny that was supposed to attend to them. She was nowhere to be found." 

"But why Quinn?" She asked. 

"I don't know. This will be a bad thing." 

  MJ came down while holding her baby. She commanded everyone to find that woman. Somehow, they don't know the whole story. That's when Maxine approached Keira, shaking a little from the horror. 

"I think the food was meant for Dione but since Dione ignored the food, Quinn took it." 

  Keira gaped as she watched her sister-in-law furiously. She was a little calm earlier after they heard that Quinn is safe after a few moments. But after Victor found out everything, MJ was in rage while Dione was tagging along with her mother, puzzled about what was happening. But Cole was there to hold Dione's hand as she walked. 

"Okay, this is messy," Keira mumbled. "But it's messier. A guy named Gray claimed to be my Uncle. He's like four years older than Jo and he was in love with Jo." 

  Alessandro looked down at her, thinking that his wife must be joking, but she looked dead serious. 

"Love, are you serious?" 

"I am. They are in the facility but Victor is mad and so is MJ. I wonder how my brother would act if he came home." 

  Somehow, Harvey has to do something earlier. He was away for important things he still has no idea of what happened to Quinn. But MJ is a Lioness. She can protect her babies while the father is out hunting. The kids woke up earlier than their usual body clock because of the commotion and Kal was already searching for his mom and dad. He was pouting while searching for them. Cole coaxed Kal and told him that his dad was hunting. So, Kal thought that it was an exciting story. 

"This is frustrating." 

"I can't even go to work," Alessandro mumbled. 

"You can. You have a lot to do. I will take care of Callisa." 

  Alessandro hesitated. 

"She can't eat yet. Come on. You have a lot to do."

  Sandro finally gave Callisa to Keira as Maxine gathered the kids to the playroom. 

"Okay, I will prepare the meal," Maxine said.  2

"I will help you," Alicia said. But Maxine looked at her round tummy. It was bigger since she was holding two babies. 

"Babe, come on. I will take care of it." Leon came up. "Just relax." He helped her to sit down with the kids. "Kal, what do you want to eat?" 

"Pa~cakes!" He exclaimed. 

"Great. How about you Cole?" 

"I will have the same." 

"And you, your highness?" He asked Dione. 

"Ka-cake!" She exclaimed, mimicking Kal. 

"Great."

  Keira sighed as she sat down. She looked at MJ who was trying to calm herself while she was holding Kaiden. She gently put Callisa on the crib as she approached MJ and patted her. 

"Don't worry, Victor will catch whoever did it." 

"I think they know that we are keeping babies here," MJ mumbled. "But why target my daughter?" She stopped when she realized something. "It might be Clare." 

  Keira thought about it too. 

"But let's put the idea that the Charles Empire might now," Keira mumbled to her. MJ nodded as she kept her baby close to her chest. 

  MJ seemed to be close to having a panic attack but since she was holding her baby. She understands her. This isn't the first time that this has happened. That's why MJ was keeping Dione away from Clare the whole time. She was a mom too and she would do everything to protect her baby. 

"Vivi," Kal was giggling while kissing Levina's stomach, making the baby giggle. 

"How sweet." Alicia patted Kal. 

"Everything will be alright." Keira comforted her. 

  The door opened as Dione shrieked and ran to her father even though she tripped. Harvey picked her up and kissed her forehead. 

"How's my baby?" 

"Ki-Kin… pital~~" Dione said in her small sweet voice. 

  Harvey looked at his wife.
