  He thought that his head was to have a good day. But his wife was acting bizarre. She was slamming the doors and when he went to the bathroom, he found a pregnancy strip. Kennedy should be happy, but he felt anxious. Now that the Serpent was getting aggressive after the news about Keira Del Carlo and Alessandro De Alegre being alive. They suspected that they had something to do with the gems.

  He went out of the bathroom to the walk-in closet where his wife was currently rummaging through the closet. 

"Danica," He called but she ignored him. "Let's go to the doctor and have you check." 

"I don't want this child." She shouted at him. 

"Do you want to abort my child?" Kennedy frowned at her. She froze. "That child is innocent, I don't care if it wasn't mine if that's what you are scared of." 

  Danica glared at him. 

"You think that I mess around with some random guy to plant seeds on me?" 

  Kennedy picked a suit. 

"That's what you do." He said calmly. 

"I never fuck someone else after our marriage." 

"Then, let's get you checked up." He remained calm even though his wife was so pissed. "You need to be healthy for our heir." 

  He handled her well. The doctor reminded Danica about stress and uncontrollable emotions. It might affect the baby. The first trimester was a critical stage. So, Kennedy already thought of monitoring her throughout her pregnancy stages. He will have someone to do the rest of the jobs. That includes the operation of the underground business. 

  When they got home, he took her to their room and helped her up. 

"I got it." She said annoyingly. 

"Darling, you need to get used to my sweetness. I love the child so you have to take care of yourself." He caressed her hair. "Grandpa would be happy about this news if he was still alive." 

  She sighed and nodded her head. 

"Good girl. What do you want to eat? I will have the chef prepare whatever you want." 

"I just want to sleep." She undresses in front of him and puts on a comfortable dress. He followed her to bed and tucked her in. Then, he closed the curtains. 

  He sat beside her until she fell asleep. Then, he finally left the room and went to his office. Shortly, his assistant came with the books about pregnancy and babies. He needs to know at least.

Paradis Evergarden

  It wasn't the Charles Empire this time. The Serpent tried to get into the country, trying to find the pieces of the gems that they have been looking for. With the Dragon's advice about the possible invasion, she prepared ahead of time. She doesn't know how Andromeda foresaw it, with those details on how the Paradis would fall again, but she was happy that the Dragon Empire got their back. 

  Karmina was currently tapping on the table, waiting for the agents to arrive. She can't even go back to the Rossie Estate to check on her grandchildren, but she heard that her adopted grandson, Cole, started school and she also got adorable photos of the kids on the table while Cole was teaching his baby sisters and brother about the things he learned in school. 

"I miss them." She mumbled. 

"I do too," Henry said. "We will get stuck here for a few more months." 

"We can't miss Jo's wedding." 

"They will have their wedding here," Henry said. 

"But it's not safe." Karmina creased his brows. 

"I know that." Henry sighed. "It wasn't safe for us to stay in the same place. But the castle has the greatest views that Johanna liked." 

  Karmina reached her head. 

"Andromeda just told me that Kennedy's wife is pregnant. They will lay low for a while. The Charles Empire, I mean. But the Serpent was consistent. They can attack without the help of the Charles Empire." 

  Shortly, the announcer said aloud Gray's name. She stood as her face lightened. 

"Grayson!" She exclaimed. 

"Cousin!" They hugged each other as Grayson also greeted Henry. "Henry," 

"Gray, good that you came earlier than expected." Karmina smiled up at him. 

"I left the kids with the nannies and maids. They are doing fine and happy about school." They all sat down. 

  Karmina leaned on her seat. 

"But isn't it too soon for them?" 

"They are excited." He said. "Alexa accelerated from a few grades and so was Yves. The two wanted to stay in the same grade." 

"That's perfect. Would they want to go to school here?" Karmina asked. 

"They want to stick altogether," Grayson said. He hummed. "Anyway, let's get to the point." Grayson took out his phone as he connected it to the projector. "The Serpent has been building this nuclear weapon that would wipe out living things in this country. That has been for years now." 

"Nuclear," Karmina mumbled. Andromeda mentioned it as she took down everything that Andromeda told her. She spoke to the young heiress who had a staggering voice. "Yes, someone mentioned it to me. I am currently preparing for that." 

"It was based on my past reports." He told her. "Where's old Carter?" 

"He's in his room." She said. 

"I reported this to him." He rubbed his nose. "Yes, Carter said that they prepared something for that," Grayson mumbled. "Now that they are also after me because I committed treason~~would you save me?" 

"Of course," Karmina chuckled. "We are family." 

"I would like to marry Hannah Grace." He said out of the blue as Henry frowned at him. 

"Would you not mention that at all?" Henry glared at him. 

"Apologies." Gray chuckled. Shortly, a woman entered. Her beautiful voluptuous body, red hair, and fair skin caught his eyes. He stared at her for as long as the woman bowed. 

"Your majesty, everything is clear and we close more deals out of the country," Guinevere said. 

"Beautiful," Gray mumbled. 

"She's engaged as well," Henry told Gray as the man frowned. 

"To whom?" 

"To me!" Ace said as he entered. "You are the guy who harasses Hannah Grace?" 

"I didn't har~~" he shut up when he realized that he did harass Hannah Grace. "And who are you?" He asked. 

"I'm Ace." He winked as he bent down and kissed his cheeks. Gray screamed and pushed him. 

"What the hell?!" 

  Karmina shook her head as she checked the documents. 

"It's perfect." She looked up at Guinevere. "Guinevere, this is Lord Gray. My cousin. He's a psychiatrist and if you need any mental advice." 

"Oh," Guinevere nodded her head. "I think Ace needs one." 

"For what?" Ace asked as he looked at his girlfriend.  1

"You know what," Guinevere said, glancing at his lower part. He was still confused. "I will go back to the office now." 

  Shortly, Harvey arrived with others who warmly greeted Guinevere. 

"Looking good, huh." Leon grinned and kissed Guinevere's cheeks. 

"I need to work. You boys should do whatever you have to do." She patted them as she left. The boys looked at Ace as they sneered. Then, they took their seats while Harvey patted his father and kissed his mother. 

"I'm sorry that you have to go all the way here," Karmina said. "I know that you already have Dione, Kaiden, and Cole." 

"Cole said that he will protect her baby siblings while I am away." Harvey sat down. Karmina and Henry smiled, pleased to hear it from Harvey. 

  They all checked the documents in front of them. Harvey checked it and looked at his mother. 

"So, what's the emergency?" Harvey asked. 

"They are planning to bomb our country that would kill all of the living things in here. That also includes the neighbors." 

"Fuck." Terrence and Leon said at the same time. 

"So, can we hack this?" Ace asked and looked at Gray. "Uncle?" 

"First, I am not your uncle, and second, yes. We can hack it. But it will be too difficult. We need to get there first." 

  Terrence was staring at the documents. 

"How do we know that you aren't just trapping us on this?" Harvey asked Gray. Gray rolled his eyes. 

"Bro, I don't intend to harm our family. I've been there all my life to know all their plans. They don't share it with me since I am a Rossie." 

"Fine," Harvey mumbled. 

"The Dragon confirmed it and I trust my cousin," Karmina told Harvey. "I know that you don't trust Gray because he works for the Charles Empire. That's his function. That's his assignment from the very start. He started young and has been away from us." 

"Okay! Enough of drama." Harvey raised his hands. "I am so sorry, Uncle." He emphasizes the word Uncle. "But how the fuck are we going to finish this war? I am tired, my wife is tired from worrying." He exhaled. 

  They stared at each other for a while as Henry broke. 

"Alright," Henry sighed. Suddenly, Harvey's phone rang and he answered it. 

"Excuse me?" He stood and walked toward the window. "Yup?" 

"Harvey, I~~I got this crazy thing in my head," Andromeda said. "So, I need Hannah Grace. The fire gem that I hid will be found by them in a few days now. I need Hannah Grace. The most dangerous of them is the fire gem. Also, there's more. In a few years from now, Kal might get kidnapped and so is Cole. Together." 

"What are you talking about?" 

"I know you won't believe me. But please, Harvey. You need to protect those kids. Also, I need Hannah Grace." 

  He was still puzzled.
