The Big Boss

  Lukas II Lefebure is the big boss of the Serpent. Now that everything they worked for and spent their resources went to nothing when the Dragon intervened, he is getting angrier as days passed that he wanted to continue the war that they've been planning. But they lack resources for a while. They need to have more resources as they have to cut off a few expenses. The Charles Empire isn't enough for the resources that he needs. 

  They are growing with more heirs and heiresses. Not just that but they are growing more money than them. He reached for his cigar, cut the tip, and lit it up. He puffed some smoke a few times before he spoke.

"You should take a break." He told Janella who looked down and was very depressed. He approached her and patted her head. "My dear, soon. You and your brother will reign this Empire soon. You should recover." 

"Which brother? Griffin is an idiot. The other one is narcissistic." 

"Your brother, Luke, is a smart man, my dear. He will support you." 

  Janella doesn't want to speak another word. She knew that Luke wasn't there to support her but to pull her down after this commotion. He planned something else. She knew how his mind works. He's tricky and calculative. He's also manipulative. 

"You love him so much that you covered up everything for him. I might be naive and aggressive in my decision but I am not an idiot not to notice it." She raised her chin. "It's fine. I am done with this. He can take over." 

"If you say so, my dear." 

  Janella turned back as she strode to the door. She opened it with her uninjured arm. 

  Lukas walked toward the window as he looked down at the people who were walking simultaneously while holding a heavy gun in their left hand that leaned to their shoulders. By the look of their soldiers, he knew that they were lacking. They need more time. He had to disregard the first one that he commanded. They aren't ready yet. They might lose a lot of people in this war. A knock on the door made him turn around. Then it opened as Luke entered. With ever so perfect hair, clothes, neat. He was obsessed with cleanliness, that's why he didn't want to work in the field. 

"Grandpa, you called for me?" He asked as he walked toward the sofa and sat down. He leaned on the sofa, spread his arms, and looked at the big window. "Please don't tell me that I have to go out and command them." 

"There's someone who will do that. You don't need to get your hands dirty. Let's proceed to your plan. You said that you have a massive plan to destroy them." 

"I do," Luke smirked. "So, Janella is out of the picture?" 

"She wanted to relax. She deserved to relax." 

"Alright, I will do my best then." He smiled. "Is it too late that she realized that I am better than her?" 

"Luke, your sister did her best." He said. "Give her a break. Besides, she had so many achievements as well." 

"Fine, fine. Whatever you say, gramps. So, am I going to head to the Philippines or what?" 

"Cooperate with Kennedy. I doubted that he would want to participate in any of this war. So, we will just take all of the resources that we could." 

"I will handle it." He said as he stood prepared for anything.

  Keira was happy to see the kids playing by the pond. She was scrolling through her network when she received an email from their Intel in foreign affairs. A man~~handsome, neat, and clean man just arrived in the country from Russia. Luke Lefebure. He's also known as the big boss in so many businesses that he owns. 

"Oh, handsome," Keira mumbled and suddenly there was a splash on the pond. 

  Quinn was feeding the kois and she patted them but one gobbled her hand as she dove to the waters with a lot of keys. Since the Kois are very huge~~gigantic that they say Quinn's hand was small enough to be gobbled by their mouth. Gray quickly grabbed Quinn's arm as she gasped and coughed. Gray held her and patted her back. She weaned as she waved her hands at the kois angrily. 

"Bad! Bad, bad pishy!" She shouted at them. "Baddie!" She screamed. 

"Kin~Kin eat by Kois!" Cole said as Dione mimicked him. But Dione giggled. 

"Baddie, pishy." Dione said. 

  Keira shook her head as she watched Connor approach them and took Dione. He was laughing and so was Johanna. It was indeed dangerous for them in the pond but they never let the kids near it without them or anyone with them. That's why Harvey put fences around the pond so they won't be able to run to it. 

"When our baby turns nine months, we will teach her how to swim," Alessandro said as he sat on the bench beside her. She gave her phone to him. 

"Yup, let's do that." 

  Keira has already set up swimming lessons for each baby and if ever they fall in the pool or pond, they will be able to survive as they would know how to float. There are a lot of baby swimming training programs in America and it saves a lot of babies' lives as they know how to swim and float. 

"Who is this?" 

"The big boss. He's handsome, right?" 

"Yeah, I could rub his ass," Sandro said and glared at her. 

"You are the most handsome and attractive." She hugged him. "Where's our baby?" She looks around and there's the stroller beside Johanna and she's holding Calli while she's laughing over her daughter who starts complaining to her father. 

"Right," Keira sighed. "By the way, that guy is already in the country. He will be taking over after Janella. They said that this guy is going to lead the war." 

"Oh crap. There they go again and their threats." He mumbled. 

"It will affect our companies as well." Keira crossed her arms. Sandro zoomed in on the picture and nodded his head. 

"He's good-looking and neat. That narcissistic feature says everything." 

  Keira blinked as she stared at her husband who continued scrolling. 

"Love, are you serious? You just stared at that hot guy. Are you attracted to him?

  Alessandro started laughing as he patted her head. 

"Babe, I never got attractive to any man." He gave her phone back. "Alright, I am taking our daughter to the office. Do you want to go?" 

  She shook her head but she followed anyway. After they took Calli, they went upstairs to prepare for their work. It might be already late but they will have to stay over at the De Alegre mansion. It will be another day that they won't be able to see the comedy from the kids. But since Kal is not around, it's not the same comedy as before. 

  They had a lot of escorts when they arrived at the office that was joined by them. Since she chose to work with her husband in his wide office. There is already baby stuff ready and so is her desk. Not just that, but they add more pantries for just the two of them. 

  Sandro sanitized his table and his hand, and then he sat down and turned on his computer. He patted his chest. 

"Now, I can have Calli working with me as I taught her the business." 

"She's too young for that. Maybe she wanted music." 

  Keira sat down on her swivel chair as she turned on her computer. Then, her secretary put the piles of documents that she needed to sign. 

"By the way, another investor came for your project." 

  Her secretary handed a red folder that indicates that it was possible investors. Then, she checked it and frowned. 

"Oh, I think that handsome guy is making a move on me," Keira told her husband. 

"Decline it. We can't have them suck our resources." Sandro said. 

"Of course, I will decline it." 

  Keira checked the proposal and put it in the trash bin. Her secretary nodded her head. 

"Also, do not accept any proposals from them. Tell that to the directors." 

"Yes, ma'am." 

"I will fund my project myself," Keira smirked as she thought of the money that she would take from it. Since most of the percentage will be hers because she put all of the effort and materials, and money needed for this project. 

  Calli cooed and pointed at his computer. 

"That's the percentage of our sales today." He told Calli who had those wide eyes up at him. "It wasn't that big than yesterday, but we can work on something about that." 

  He continued typing as Calli watched her father work. They became so busy that Calli didn't even complain. She looked eager to learn like she was just watching some show. 

  Keira noticed that Calli isn't complaining or throwing tantrums or reacting from staying on her father's lap.  2

"Babe, I think she needs a break." 

"It's only been thirty minutes." 

"She needs a break," Keira told him. 

  Sandro listened to her as he put Calli on her elevated crib. She sat down and held on to the rail so she could stand. She continued looking at the computer as Sandro patted her head. 

"See? Our baby girl is willing to learn." 

"Fine." Keira let her husband do whatever he wanted.
