Father-Daughter Duo

  Sandro was meeting a few people but his darling Calli can't be alone. His wife is currently out to check the babies so he had that baby cover for breastfeeding. He also has a fan so the meeting will go on. He had two nannies and two bodyguards with him as he went to the restaurant where he was meeting these people. 

"Here we are." He said as he sat down on a comfortable sofa while the people that he was meeting stood and bowed at him. "Sit down." He said as he kept Calli on his chest with a blanket on. "Let's start the meeting." He said as he checked the menu. "Let's order first. It's all in me." He told them. They nodded. 

"Is that your daughter?" The senior in the Directors asked. 

"Yes, she's shy." He said. "She will be joining us to know more about business." 

"Oh, that's adorable." They commented. 

  They started discussing the things that they need. Shortly, Calli got annoyed with the covers as she showed her face and looked at the people in a boring way like no one was interested in her. Alessandro kissed her top head and they continued with the reading. Finally, Sandro put Calli on the carrier as she relaxed there and held her baby bottle while sucking. She stopped at a time to listen to them then she would continue sucking on her baby bottle. 

"You got that Calli?" Sandro asked the little girl who pulled the bottle away and cooed as a response. 

  They all laughed as their hearts melted because of her. 

"She understands that." He said boosting his little girl to everyone. Then, Calli continued sucking on her baby bottle and she threw it away but Sandro caught it and gave it to her nanny. She clapped her hands while giggling. "Now, moving on." 

  After two hours of discussing the tracks of their market visit, Sandro quickly took his baby girl back to the office. He set up Calli's mini-bed and put her there. She yawned and raised her arms. 

"Darling, I have to work. You can sleep now." 

  Calli turned to her stomach and reached the rail as she sat down. She holds both of her hands on the rail like she's a little prisoner. She showed her pitiful eyes at her father as she cooed. The little prisoner just made Sandro's heart skip a beat. 

"Right. You don't want to sleep." 

  She patted her bed. 

"But I have to work." 

  She patted her bed again. 

"Right." He moved closer to the desk and pressed the speaker to his secretaries. "I am going to take an hour's break. Please make sure that no one gets in unless it's my wife." He released the button. 

"Yes, boss." 

  He set up the sofa bed and took out the blanket under it. Then, he put pillows around and set them up for his daughter. He removed his coat and put a slipper on. Then, he picked up her baby girl and put her down on the sofa bed and he lay down. She crawled over his chest and lay down. 

"What a clingy, little girl?" he kissed her head. "You are just like your mom."

  She cooed. He patted her back gently and hummed her favorite lullaby that her mother composed just for her. She was also singing with her baby voice and baby words. She somehow gets the tone right. He continues singing for her until she falls asleep fast. He yawned. He fell asleep quickly and before he knew it, both of them were already snoring.

  Keira watched how Quinn fed the fishes. They followed her around, mostly the kois. Next, she also followed Quinn to her bedroom where she had a lot of small fish. She then checked the time. Johanna and Connor are running late as she needs to go somewhere important.

"Quinn, do you want to go with me?" 

"Where?" Quinn asked. "Pishing?" 

"Yes," Keira smiled at her. 

"Yay!" 

  Quinn quickly approached her as she took Keira's hand. She needs to call her mother about this matter. Johanna let Keira do whatever she wanted. So, Andromeda picked her up with her chopper and took her to where the submarine was. Quinn looked super excited as she couldn't hide her grin. She even squeezed Keira in full excitement as they hopped into the submarine. 

  She then started running around and jumping inside just to check the fish? Keira has to calm her down and put her down on the chair with the seatbelts. 

"Quinn, stay." 

  She giggled as she kept looking around. Shadow was currently driving the submarine and he also enjoyed Quinn's reaction to everything. 

"Shak!" She pointed sharply. "Wow." 

"Wow," Andromeda laughed and patted Quinn's head. "She's different from Johanna. This girl is spoiled and she loves fish so much. How come?" 

"Oh, before you say anything. Johanna used to have aquariums. When she got good grades, dad asked her what she wanted and she wanted exotic fishes and so dad gave her a big aquarium in her room."

"What happened to the fishes?" 

"They live long~~not until our business goes bankrupt," Keira said. She sighed and looked at Andy. "So, why do we have to visit the headquarters?" 

"You need to meet the master of the gem." 

"Wait, you mean the gigantic creature lingering around is the master?" 

"Not that big guy." She chuckled. 

  Keira grinned. She faced Quinn and caressed her hair. 

"Everything is so unreal, Andy." 

  Andromeda smiled and turned to her. 

"There are things that can't be explained," Andromeda mumbled. "It is better to be kept as a myth to preserve it. And you are right, it was so unreal but believe it or not, there are a lot of things that even science can't explain. I started having visions of my past and it's real. I don't how to explain how real it is, but I just felt it, right here." She pointed to her chest. "And I believe that these kids will be holders of the gems. The guardians simply choose your family." 

"Why? I mean, I never get involved in any magical stuff…" She chuckled. 

"Simply because the Paradis Evergarden was the place where the guardians gathered." Andel butted in. "According to the old book that I recovered, your mother's land was a place of fertility. It is where the gems started and it is where the guardians decided to separate each to protect it and the people. That is why you Princess Keira are chosen by the water gem." 

"Oh," Keira said with a surprised expression. 

"Oohhhhh." Quinn mimicked Keira like she understood whatever Andel was speaking. 

"I never thought that my life would become this magical instead of having a normal business day life. You know what I mean." 

"Same here." Andromeda winked. 

"You can sleep now, Quinn. It will take a few more hours to get there." 

  The little girl yawned. Keira reclined her seat and took the blanket. 

"No milk, Tata?" She asked. 

"Oh, I'm sorry, baby. We will have milk when we get there. Are you hungry?" 

"I wan~~mil-k. Only." Then, she yawned again. 

"We don't have a heater here, but is it okay if it's cold?" Keira asked. 

"Tekyu." 

  Keira got that as an answer for yes. Andromeda admired Quinn more and cuddled with her. 

  When they reached the Ocean Headquarters, the security quickly greeted them and helped them out. Quinn gasped and looked around as Keira took her to her room. Quinn rushed to the clear view of the ocean as she screamed in excitement. 

"Wow! Big pishy! Small pishy! Big-small pishy!" She clapped her hands in excitement. 

"I think she wants to live underwater," Andromeda said. Keira went to her safe as she took out the gem. Then, she walked to the sofa. 

"Quinn," Keira called as Quinn ran to Keira.  1

"Ohh," 

  Quinn quickly took out cash from her purse. 

"Okane…" She said. "Dat~dat." She pointed to the gem. 

"Darling, this is not for sale," Keira said. "But you can touch it." 

  Quinn's eyes were full of fascination. She touched the gem and she giggled. 

"Tiky~," She said. 

"Woah!" Andel gasped as they all looked at the full view of the ocean. Quinn squirmed in excitement as she ran there and pressed her face to the glass. 

"Biiiiigggg fisssshyyyy!" 

"Woah, that's the gigantic fish that I saw. It's bigger than the blue whale." 

"Or Megalodon," Andy said as she stood beside Quinn. The big creature opened his mouth as fishes came out. But it wasn't just fish. A half-human on top and a fish below. They said that it was a mermaid and Quinn gaped. 

"Me-maid!" She waved at the mermaids as they swam around and the male merman come out with a trident. The man pointed his fork-like trident to Quinn as he reached out a hand that went through the glass. 

"Dragon." The merman spoke. 

"Your majesty." 

  He gave me two necklaces. 

"For the future guardians!" 

"I want to be a fish!" Quinn exclaimed as she reached the creature's hand. 

"A killing machine." The creature speaks. 

"She's a child." Keira was still gaping. "But you can describe her like that. She hasn't killed anyone yet." 

"You are blessed, human." The man said as Keira accepted the necklaces. They all went back to the gigantic creature's mouth and they vanished. 

"Oh, wow." Andel gaped. "One of the most magical moments that I had encountered." 

"Pinch me! I don't think this is real. I am dreaming!" Keira mumbled.
