Violet's Daughter

  Although they were happy and it kept the kids from thinking about what happened, Violet was still worried because Kal was slowly losing appetite for the food that he likes. He only eats a little and then he would go to his father. That's it. There are times that he woke up in the middle of the night and went to their room. He was currently sleeping in Cole's room but at the same time, he would knock on the door to sleep with them. 

"What's wrong?" Victor asked while he's watching his wife cleaning up his wounds and changing the bandages. 

"It's your son. I am worried that he might continue having nightmares."

"Should we set up a bed for him here? I want to be close with Kal." 

"Tomorrow, we will do it. We can set up a bed for Kal." 

  Once she patched him up, she walked to the window and opened up the curtains. 

"Can't he sleep beside us?" He asked. 

"He can but he might kick you." She chuckled. "I will talk to him." She approached him and kissed his lips. "Call me if you need anything." 

"I will." 

  Violet went downstairs to the kid's study room where Kal was busy scolding Quinn and Dione for messing up his artwork. He had his arms crossed as the girls were pouting and telling sorry to Kal. But Quinn was done with him by throwing money at him. She could see now who had more attitude in this family. 

"Quinn, that's not right." She interrupted. Johanna was on the sofa sleeping, probably because she felt tired.

"Ka-Kal~~" She pointed at Kal. "I say~~sowee… He~angry." Then she cried dramatically. 

"I know, but it is not right to throw money at someone. Pick up your, okane." Violet told her as Quinn picked up her money and she made sure that it was perfectly flat before she put it in her purse. She was still crying though. "God, it's adorable." She mumbled. No matter how adorable the baby girl looked, she shouldn't get swayed by it. "Alright, what's going on?" She asked as Kal pointed to the blocks that he made that the girls destroyed. Then, he pouted and sighed exasperatedly. 

"I start again!" He exclaimed. 

"Let's take a break." She told him. She then looked at Cole and Alexa who are busy with their lessons. She somehow felt like a bad mother for not giving enough attention to Alexa. Maybe she should take her out shopping. "Do you want to sleep with me and daddy tonight?" She asked. 

"No. I seep~~Cole." Kal said. 

"But, do you want to have a bed beside daddy?" She asked as he thought. 

"Okay. I want~~Car-bed~~peasseee." 

"Alright." She kissed his forehead. "Mommy will search for that car bed. Can you take care of daddy later?" 

"I will!" He exclaimed. 

"What color do you want?" She caressed his hair. 

"Buu~~red…" He said. "Bu-red." 

  She chuckled. 

"I want a car-bed too," Quinn said. 

"Darling, you already have a bed." 

"No. No. I wan~~boat-bed." 

  Violet looked at Johanna who was still asleep. She approached her and put a blanket over her. 

"Right, I will search for that," Violet told her. 

  Just in time when Connor entered. He was sweaty and he looked tired from fixing something. 

"What's up?" Violet asked. 

"I just came from the Golden Age to fix something and then I accidentally kicked the sprinkler." 

"So, that wasn't a sweat." 

"Partially." He said as he kissed Quinn who pushed him. 

"Ew," Quinn said. 

"It's not sweat," Connor told him. "Kiss," He pouted his lips and she kissed him. 

"I wan~~boat bed~papa." 

  Connor stared at her and raised his brows. 

"What?" 

"I wan~~boat bed, peassee." 

  Dione sighed as she leaned her cheeks to her hands as she thought of what she wanted with her bed. 

"Not now. We have a lot of things to do." 

  Quinn was about to pull out her money from her purse but Connor held it. 

"No. Quinn, don't you dare." He threatened. 

"I wan~~boat-bed!" 

  Connor sighed as he shook his head. 

"It will take weeks to do that." 

"No. Buy." She said, "Okane." She pulled out the cash from her purse and gave it to him. 

  Violet turned back as he covered her mouth to avoid laughing. She quickly walked away and she went out as she started laughing. 

"I will take all of your money so you won't be able to throw money at people." Connor scolded her. "Let's go, young lady. You have to clean the fish tank today. That's your chores." 

"Aw," Quinn pouted but she took her purse anyway and followed her father. 

  Connor and Violet looked eye to eye when the father and daughter duo went out. Connor bit his lips to avoid laughing. 

  After lunch, Violet approached Alexa and checked her test result. 

"You got it perfect. Do you want to go to the mall today?" She asked her. 

"But~I still have P.E. class." 

"You can skip that. Let's go to the mall." She convinced her. 

"Isn't it dangerous to go out?" 

"Yeah, we will go out and disguise ourselves. Besides, Kal will be a nurse to Victor. We are free to go out and have fun." 

"Okay." She beamed. 

"Go get change then," Violet said as Alexa dashed up to her room. 

  Johanna slouched on the sofa again and sighed. 

"I feel so freaking tired." She yawned and was about to sleep.  0

"Jo, you need to speak to your daughter." Violet approached. 

"What is now? She's just stubborn. Damn, I don't know whom she got it from." 

"Uh," Violet crossed her arms. "Alright, I think Connor is already lecturing her. Why won't you go upstairs to your room and take a break?" 

"I should." She yawned and walked upstairs. 

  After Violet put on a disguise, Kal was already with his father chilling out with some movies. The two get along really well. She admired that they looked so much alike. 

"I will be going out with Alexa." She said, 

"Bodyguards?" Victor asked. 

"Yes, of course, my love." She approached them as she kissed Victor's lips and Kal's forehead. "Have fun." 

"You too, hon." 

  They had a driver when they got to the mall in Mall of Asia. They went to the furniture and they checked around. Alexa wanted to add something to her room so Violet just bought whatever she wanted. She's a mother to the girl who never had anything in this life. That's why she's trying to provide everything for her. 

"I think Kal would like this." She said while holding on to a car-shaped cushion. 

"You can take it. It is a good thing that we found a bed for kids here." She said and looked around. 

"Will we be able to get it all in one car?" She asked. 

"Don't worry about it." Violet holds her arm. "Let's go to the stationary. Next year you will be in a new school and I think we should decorate your room." 

"But, will you be able to stay there?" She asked. 

"I will visit you from time to time." 

"It's like a boarding school." 

  Violet suddenly felt sad. Indeed. It's like a boarding school and Alexa will be very sad. 

"Right," She sighed. "Do you want to go to another school? We can check a few schools nearby." 

"No." She shook her head. "I will be with Jaime and Yves." 

"Whatever you want, my dear." 

  They went around as she enjoyed being with Alexa. She's very excited that they left the mall already at seven in the evening. The girl was so tired that she fell asleep in the car over Violet's lap. She was happy. She always wanted a daughter and they have Alexa. When they arrived home, Kal was waiting at the doorstep and he quickly exclaimed and jumped.

"We will set it up, shortly," Violet told him and patted his head. 

"Kal, I bought you a lot of things," Alexa told him as Kal quickly hugged Alexa. 

"Tekyu." 

  The kids excitedly ran to the playroom as the maids put the paper bags. Quinn and Dione gasped and clapped their hands as they thought that most of it were for them. However, Alexa never forgot them as she distributed a few bags. The kids looked hyper already. 

"It's time to sleep now, Quinn," Johanna called out as Quinn ran to her and gave her the paper bag. 

"Dione," Harvey called. "Oh, wow. Did you girls go on a shopping spree?" Harvey checked the furniture that was being brought upstairs. 

"Yes and I think we should sleep now." Violet yawned. "Alexa, darling. Are you okay with organizing your room without me?" 

"Yes, Ma'am." She said excitedly. 

  Violet smiled as Kal looked so happy. When she reached the room, Victor was sitting on the sofa watching the Butlers fix Kal's bed. She approached him and hugged his neck. 

"She's happy." She whispered at him. 

"You are a great mother." He kissed her cheeks. "How's Kal doing?" 

"He's so excited that he checked everything that Alexa bought for him. But, I need to talk to you about something." She sighed. "Alexa will be lonely if she went to boarding school at that age." 

"We can check her into a few schools. She's too young to be in that school anyway." 

"I was thinking the same thing. Maybe you should talk to her." Violet shoved her face to his neck.
