Boogeyman

  Cole tucked in with Kal after he fell asleep. He took the baby bottle from the bed and placed it on the table. Then, he walked to Dione's bed where she's snuggled to Quinn. The girls also had a bed in his room which he liked. He could take care of his baby sister, Dione and at night, they could wake up secretly to eat something from his fridge. 

"Coco~" Quinn rubbed her eyes. 

"Quinn, go back to sleep." He patted her head. 

"Okane." She mumbled and closed her eyes. "Okane~~okane…" 

  She sat up suddenly as Dione nearly woke up. 

"Okane," She said again. 

"Stop talking about money. Go to sleep." 

  He gently pushed her down and tucked her into the blanket. Then she fell asleep again. 

"Why do you always want money?" Cole sighed and shook his head. He turned off the lamp shade and turned on the galaxy lamp that projected all over the room. He went back to his bed and was about to go to sleep when Kal suddenly cried. He sat up and patted him. 

"Dadi…" He cried as Cole took him out. They went to Violet and Victor's room. He knocked and shortly, Violet opened the door. "Mami," He cried as he raised his arms. 

"Bad dream, again?" Violet asked as she bent down. "Thank you, Cole." She kissed Cole's head as she picked up Kal. 

  Cole went back to his room to his bed. He was about to sleep when Quinn poke his nose. 

"Coco~~" She called. 

"Now what?" He sat up as she pointed to the fridge. "Go and get what you want." 

  She walked to the mini-fridge and took a bottle of water she ran to him and gave it to him. He sat up and opened it as he helped her drink it. Then, he put it on the side table. 

"Go to your bed." 

"No, I seep here. There's bogoman." 

"You mean, boogeyman?" He asked. 

"Bogoman." She said as she climbed to the bed. He helped her and tucked her in. 

"Ah!" Dione sat up. "Ki-Kin." She quickly jumped off her bed and ran to Cole's bed. She crawled quickly to snuggle with them. Cole sighed and patted both girls as he lay down to sleep. 

  The girls didn't wake him after that as they were fast asleep. But somehow, he was already dreaming. Just what Quinn said. It was a boogeyman. Cole remembers well the face of Luke Lefebure. He watched as he took Quinn and Kal. Quinn started crying and he hates seeing the girls cry. Luke Lefebure grabbed the collar of Quinn's dress. Then, she threw her away. 

  He quickly grasped and reached the girls beside him. He reached his chest as it felt very heavy. 

"Bogoman?" Quinn asked. 

  The door gently opened as MJ peeked at them. 

"Hey, are you alright, buddy?" She asked. 

"Coco~~bogoman." Quinn told her. 

  MJ approached Cole's bed and hugged her. 

"A bad dream, huh?" She asked. 

"What if he took Quinn and Kal again?" Cole asked. 

"That's not going to happen again, my dear. Quinn and Kal are fine." MJ said softly. 

"So, they are not going to leave the mansion ever again?" 

"Of course, they will. We will deal with it. Okay? Do you want warm milk?" She asked. 

  He nodded his head as Quinn patted Cole's head. 

"Kin-Kin kick bogoman." She said like a mature little kid. MJ smiled and patted her. Cole chuckled as MJ stood to prepare the milk. 

"You surely are strong, Quinn," MJ said. "Do you want milk, Quinn?" 

"No. No. Kin-Kin, big girl." She said and lay back on the bed. 

"Okay," MJ chuckled. She looked at Dione who was still sleeping with her arms spread while her other thigh was over Quinn's thigh.

  Alexa woke up happy and since they all didn't meet for breakfast, Violet or the maids would knock on her door and enter her room with the breakfast ready. They always prepare a smoothie for her and give her a schedule for her exercise. She first brushes her teeth as Violet checks the clothes that she wanted to wear today. Although Violet was busy, she tried hard to check on her every day. 

"In the afternoon, you got martial arts practice with the kids. Kal will be there as well as Quinn and Dione. Those babies want some entertainment, not just TV or tablets." Violet told her. "It will be fun." 

  Alexa finished brushing his teeth as she stepped out from the mini stool so she could reach the sink. She then went out and checked the dress that she would wear today. 

"How about Jaime and Yves?" 

"Jaime will be joining but Yves is still on therapy." Violet showed the dresses as she picked the simple one. "Great." 

  Shortly after her breakfast she took a bath and went down to the library. Cole, Jaime, and Yves are already there reviewing for their exams. She sat down as the boys looked at her. 

"What?" She asked them. 

"Well, nothing." The boys chuckled. 

"I am serious. What?" She asked again. 

"You seemed to be enjoying it here, Princess," Yves said. "Are they treating you well?" 

  Alexa nodded her head. 

"That's great then. It is better that you have a mother, because last night, Gray brought a lady to the guest house. Then, he mentioned that he had daughters as the woman ran off." 

"Then, why are you guys laughing at me?" 

"That's because you are wearing a too girly headband," Cole said. "But you look pretty." 

"Sorry, Alexa. Just don't mind Yves. For now, we need to study well for the upcoming exams in the Empire Academy." Jaime patted her. 

"But isn't it lonely not to be with Victor and the other parents who took us in?" 

"Gray will be there," Yves said as he looked at Jaime. "They will visit us." 

"It will be like an orphanage or the Charles Facility," Alexa said again. 

"It's not. We will be living in a mansion with pets and a big aquarium. Maids and butlers to help us out. That's a dream come true." Yves told her. "Don't worry. We will be fine." 

  Alexa sighed and nodded her head. Soon, their professors entered. Yves and Jaime went to another table while Alexa and Cole had the same professors. They gave out the exams as they focused on them. 

  Their professors went back to their table to do a set of exams and their lesson plans for the upcoming days. The professors were hired specially for the kids and they had research work in the facility as part of their side jobs. Once they were done with the exams, Yves groaned and went to the sofa and lay there. 

"Exams are hard." 

"It wasn't that hard, young man." Professor Nial said. "I see that you got most of the answers correct."  1

"I rather do sports though," Yves added. 

"I understand, but you need to focus on getting into the Empire Academy." Professor Nial said. "You did great too Jaime." He said as he sat down and started checking everything.

  Ian was now busy checking every truck of fruits and vegetables for the mansion and his niece. He looked at Kennedy who was there to help them around. For the past two days, he's been helping around the farm and getting ideas on how to start a new business. He can be an entrepreneur in no time, but it will be risky as well. For now, he wanted to focus on his family while he got three weeks away from the Paradis Evergarden. 

  Being a Duke of that country was so much of a burden. He got no choice at all but to do whatever Karmina told him to do. It was also to protect his family and their family. 

"Granger looked excited," Tracey said as she waved Granger's hand toward Kennedy and Danica. "You are going to see Calli soon~~then, Kal, Dione, and Quinn. There will be a lot of fish." 

  Granger looked up at his father and smiled happily. 

"Oh, you are more adorable when you are happy." She kissed his forehead. "I love you so much, Granger." 

"Sure you love him more," Ian said and sneered at his boy. "You are taking your mom away from me. Always." 

"What are you talking about?" She raised her brows as their driver stepped on the gas as they left the Casa De Alegre. 

"Nothing." He mumbled. "You won't understand anyway." 

"Are you jealous of Granger? He's your son." 

"Uhuh," He moved closer to Tracey as he kissed her lips. Granger cried and pushed away Ian's face. "See? Look at that attitude." 

"He's just a little possessive." Tracey chuckled and leaned on him. "You are my number one man. But Granger is my number one baby." 

  Ian shook his head. 

"Let's plan for another baby. I think I want a girl right now. I am sure that we will be a tandem." 

"Oh," She shook her head. "I am still busy darling." 

"No. Don't darling me. It's fixed. We will be planning it tonight." 

"Why won't you take Calli? Or Dione? Maybe Quinn? I think babysitting them is great for you." 

  Ian looked at Granger as Granger looked up at him. He looked so innocent but Granger didn't want Ian snuggled to Tracey in some ways.
