Henry's Last Words

0  Karmina still remembered as it was still fresh in her mind. Henry squeezed his hands to her gently as he mumbled his words. 

"I love you. Be happy." 

  How can she become happy at this moment? Karmina already thought it. Her heart ached so much. She swore not to lose him again but it happened. It's her fault. She just wished that she died with him. Her love. All her life, Henry was there to protect her and provide for her. He loved her endlessly and so does she. She started feeling numb as she tried to denied everything that happened. 

"Mina," Gray called. 

"Hmm?" Karmina wiped her tears and turned to Gray. He knelt beside her and reached her hand. 

"I'm sorry." 

"For what?" Karmina bent down at him. "For what, Gray?" Tears continue rolling down her cheeks. "Please, I don't want to hear you blame yourself. You can't foresee everything all at once. You don't have to!" She sucked some air as she reached her chest with her other hand. "Please prepare everything, okay? You continue to live. Have children and you start your promise to your mom." 

"I foresee Lefebure's death as someone tried to block another." Gray mumbled. "I will prepare everything." 

  Karmina nodded her head as she hugged her cousin. 

"Help our family, Gray. You've been through so much." 

  Gray nodded his head and hugged her tightly. He finally leave her be to mourn. 

  Karmina leaned on her seat staring at her husband's handsome face. Her heart was still aching. But slowly, it started feeling lifeless. Her body as well. 

"Harvey," Karmina called. She realized that she's alone in the room but at that time, Harvey entered the room and sat on the floor as he reached his mother's dress. She smiled and patted his head. "Take over the country. Okay?" 

  Harvey tried hard to blinked his tears but he's been breaking out after the doctor announced the time of death. 

"Mom," 

"I've lost you once. I've lost him once, I don't want to lose you too. Okay?" 

  Harvey took her hand and kissed it. 

"I'm worried about Keira. She's a daddy's girl." 

"Hmm, she is." She pressed her lips as she looked away from her son. It aches more to see her daughter's sorrowful face. Sandro already said that she had a break down. She sniffled and wiped her nose. 

"Everyone are helping outside for the renovation of the houses and roads." Harvey gently squeezed her hand. "I'm going out to help a little until MJ and the kids arrived." 

"Hmm," She nodded her head. 

"Will you be alright?" Harvey stood. 

"Yes." She pressed her lips trying to smile.

Two Days Later,

  Keira has been sleepless and restless. Her father's death get into her so much that she couldn't sleep and would cry her heart out. She also neglected her baby girl. She was phasing out as she watched her husband packed few of Calli's clothes and things. She also didn't realize the time. She also didn't realize that Kal entered the room with a smoothie in his hand. He gave her a smoothie bottle as she took it. 

"Drink, Tata. Kal will stay with you." Kal sat beside her and hugged her. Keira smiled and patted her head. She opened her mouth that felt so dry. She take a sipped from the cold smoothie as Kal smiled at her. "Del-isious?" He asked. 

"Hmm," She nodded her. 

"No. Sad, Tata. Kal make you happy." 

  She hugged Kal and kissed his forehead. Then, she sipped again on the smoothie at is slowly gave her strength. After she finished it, she gave it to Kal as the big boy took it and went downstairs. Sandro approached her and reached her chin. He bent down and kissed her dry lips. 

"We will be leaving in three hours." He said softly. Can you hold Calli?" 

"Hmm," She nodded as Sandro released her and went to her dresser. He took the lip moisturizer and put it on her lips. 

"Why won't you sleep for a while? It will be a long flight." 

  Keira followed her husband as he tucked her in the sofa. He knelt beside her and kissed her nose and then her lips. 

"Do you want anything else?" He asked and reached her hand, kiss it more. 

"I want my dad." She mumbled as she slowly closed her eyes. 

"I know." He kissed her forehead. "Sleep. I will wake you." 

  She didn't realize that it was already two hours and Calli was tapping her. The little girl was standing by the sofa while Dione was behind her holding her back. She smiled and kissed Calli's forehead. 

"Love, let's go. We need to get ready." Sandro called out. 

  Without her husband, she might not able to fixed herself and get dressed. Without her husband, she might have neglected her baby girl. It was ten hours of flight to the Evergarden. There is this feeling that she can't wait to see her father and she don't want to see him. She don't want to see him in that very state. She want him alive where he could hug her. She hold her baby as Calli was very much behaved. The kids were excited about the plane ride but they are just babies. They don't know what was happening. 

  For eight hours, she fell asleep more with her baby girl beside her. Sandro was the one feeding Calli and changing her diapers. He didn't complain since it's his baby girl. Keira still didn't realized everything that's happening around her. She's depressed. 

  For more than eight hours on flight, they landed safely as there were police who escorted them to the castle. There are parts that will be renovated. There are parts that are safe to stay with. Karmina approached her daughter who looked pale and unwell. She hugged her baby girl who raised her arms to her mother's waist as she cried. Harvey quickly approached them and hugged them in his big arms. 

  MJ pressed her lips as she approached her husband. 

"How's the flight?" Harvey asked as he reached her cheeks and wiped her tears. "Dione's good?" He looked for her baby girl. 

"Dada!" Dione ran to him and hugged his leg. He patted her head. He kissed MJ's lips and then Kaiden's forehead, he picked up Dione and hugged her baby girl. 

"Your rooms are ready." Guinevere said as she escorted everyone to their rooms. Terrence who was lightly injured hugged his girls. 

"Everyone alright?" Gray checked the kids and he patted Alexa and Cole. 

"I want dad." She sniffled as she hold her mother's hand. 

  Karmina nodded her head as she took Keira. Alex, Sandro with Calli. They all went down the basement where they kept him. In the room, it was cold and her father was lying inside the glass. With flowers around the glass and golden frame. Keira ran to it as she looked down at her father's face. 

"Dad, what are you doing?" Keira reached her father's face but since he was frozen under the glass, she wouldn't be able to touch him. "Dad, you said that you will be giving me an extravagant party?" She sobbed. "Why are you leaving mom? Why are you leaving us? Calli just got her first steps and you didn't see it." She sniffled. 

  Karmina pressed her lips as she tried hard not to sobbed in front of her children. She sniffled and turned back. 

"Harvey," She approached her son. "Let's keep his body frozen and when I die, I want to be buried with him." 

"Mom~~" Harvey frowned. 

"Gandpapa?" Dione asked. "Why seep, seep? Coold." She asked her father as Harvey kissed her forehead. 

"Grandpapa, will be sleeping for long, darling." Harvey said softly. 

"P-play? Gandpapa, play?" She asked. 

"I'm sorry, darling." He said softly and kissed her forehead. "We have to say goodbye, okay?" 

"Keira," Sandro called as he started to get worried. She's been crying for days now and he's afraid that it will become a cause of dehydration. He gave Calli to Karmina as he approached his wife. She collapsed over the glass as he quickly carried. "Kiera!" He quickly walked briskly to the door. Alex lead Sandro to the elevator as he call out for the doctor. 

  Harvey was worried but he tried to calm himself. He looked around to search for Johanna. She's been in her room for a day and a half now. He knew how hard it is for her as well since she's Henry's daughter too. He was always away from home that he didn't realized how much time he spend away from them. 

"Love, we are going up." Harvey told his wife who sniffled and followed him. 

  They all gathered to Keira's room as the doctor quickly put a dextrose on her and checked her vitals. It was another breakdown. With her stubbornness it might cause a severe dehydration. Sandro was pacing back and forth, worried again. He's been taking care of her for days and the last thing she drank or eat was the smoothie that Kal gave. She didn't even drank water for more than eight hours in the plane. 

"She will be alright," Alex patted him and hugged him.
