Epilogue - The Ending
The family is like a family of Elephants. Since elephants are known for their intelligence, deep family bonds, and long memories. They had a lot of fun every day and no matter what the problem was, everyone would offer to help each other without asking for any payment. Half of the family are adopted as each of them never was ashamed of their status in life. That's what Gray wished for.
Even the kids. Half of them aren't blood-related but they have that strong bond that no one can break. Most of them might marry the other since a family friend was already a family for them.
"Gray, can we have a game room in our dorm?" Jaime suddenly asked.
"Would it interrupt your studies?" Gray crossed his arms.
"Nope. Not at all."
"Well," Gray looked at Karmina.
"We will have time for gaming then," Karmina told them as she flipped the book that she was reading while her granddaughters Calli and Dione are beside her.
"I don't know man." Gray sighed.
"You will get bored when you visit there."
They are tempting him.
"Just give it to them, Uncle. If they dropped their grades, I think it's enough to ground them. You know what I'm saying?" Keira asked. "Mom and dad always ground me for something like that," Keira said.
"Because you are very much fooling around with your so-called 'boyfriend'. I mean, it's right that mom and dad would ground you." Harvey said as Keira quickly grabbed her baby's diapers and threw them at him. Harvey is lucky enough that it wasn't the used diapers.
"Why did dad and mom never grounded me?" Johanna suddenly asked as Harvey stared at her.
"Compared to you and Keira, you are a good girl. She's always sneaking out, isn't she?"
"Well," Johanna thought and raised her thumb. "Sneaking out with Sandro and James~~sometimes I think that James is gay and into Sandro. You know what I mean."
Keira sighed as she thought about how James harassed her husband. They even pose something feminine on IG and other social media.
"So, you never sneak out with a guy from your room?" Victor asked his sister who shook her head.
"She's missing all of the fun things." Harvey and Keira said at the same time as the siblings raised their hands for high-fives.
"Oh, please. It's not like I am into boys at that time."
"I was lucky enough to get her attention." Connor intervenes as he puts the sleepy Quinn beside Cole. "Right, babe?" Connor grinned as Johanna wasn't in the mood to flirt with him.
"Hmm," She only nodded her head as Connor felt like he was being ignored. Was his wife not attracted to him? He hugged her like a cat and snuggled with her. Johanna continuously ignored him.
"Babe~~" Connor dramatically pouted.
"Ugly!" Quinn pointed to her father as she leaned on Cole. "Ugly."
"Quinn, that's not good," Cole told him.
"You little brat," Connor mumbled.
"Stop pouting like a child. Even your daughter can say that you are ugly." She mumbled.
"Not even you." Connor sighed and moved away from his wife. "Do you want yogurt?" He asked.
"Yes, strawberry," Johanna said as Connor left.
Gray tilted his head and stared at Johanna.
"You got the best husband and that's how you treat him?" Gray asked.
"I am not in the mood for a cuddle. So just shut up, will you?" She rolled her eyes.
"Then, can I have your husband?" Gray smirked. Johanna frowned as she gave him daggering eyes.
Quinn climbed down from the seat as she approached Gray and raised her arms. Gray picked her up as the little girl hugged his neck and tapped him. He also tapped her back and the little girl fell asleep fast.
"You can be my daughter's nanny." Johanna yawned.
"Hello, everyone!" Sandro greeted everyone with hugs and kisses. His mood was extremely great. It's probably because of the time that he and Keira spent in bed. But Keira has to wake up early to check on their baby girl. Calli seemed to not care about her parents for a while since she was busy being with her grandmother and other babies. "Hello, Calli?" Sandro squatted beside his baby girl and gave her a lot of kisses. Calli raised her voice and pushed her father's face. "Why? You hate me now?" Calli ignored him. Sandro pouted as he continued watching his baby girl listening to her grandmother. Karmina patted his head while grinning and continued reading the book for the girls.
"I think I should adopt Quinn," Gray said as everyone looked at her.
"Nope." Johanna shook her head. "You kept giving her money. You can't give her money."
"I'm rich." He reasoned as Quinn mumbled 'okane'. "I changed my mind." He mumbled. "I might go bankrupt."
Johanna laughed and so did others. Cole scratched his head while looking at Gray holding Quinn.
"Quinn is good with money," Cole said. "She mostly saved them as she asked me how to invest to add more money to it."
"Oh, my daughter is sharp." Connor grinned as he came up with his wife's yogurt. "You can be the nanny," Connor told Gray as the couple snuggled at each other.
Somehow, Gray felt not excited at all. They knew all along that Quinn is something. She's somehow a pain in the ass and the only one who could be patient with her is Cole. Cole is patient with every baby. Quinn fell asleep fast in his arms and none of her parents wanted to take her to put her to bed. He already felt numb from carrying the little girl until Connor finally took Quinn.
"You will be a great nanny." Connor smacked his butt and left. Gray glared at Johanna who only smirked at Gray and winked at him.
"The two of you are grossing me out!" He walked away.
Couples are everywhere no matter where he goes. So, he finally went to the veranda of the main house and he watched everyone. Even Karmina is currently with Alex. The two are close with each other as their husbands were like best friends. They both looked like a couple and here he is, alone. He sighed as he closed his eyes to check about possible disastrous incidents that will happen to the family. But somehow, there's none. There might be minors but the kids are safe.
"A baby boy next." He looked at Johanna who was busy chatting with Keira and laughing with her siblings. Even Victor was having so much fun while he was giving time to his son. He looked at Johanna and her small bump. "A girl next. Victor will be so happy with that." He mumbled as he continued observing everyone and checking their future one by one.
Then, he eyed Karmina and Alex holding hands together as they were smiling and laughing about something. They are comparing their hands. He saw how they will both become a help to their children and enjoyed having the grandchildren around. They both miss their partners but they become each other's companions until they grow old to ninety and die.
He somehow felt envious of everyone as he grew old and had their partners and kids. He was starting to think of having a surrogate and buying eggs to have his child on his own without a mother. He sighed as he watched everyone having fun.
"Gray!" Alexa approached him.
"Yes, darling?"
"I know that I am currently with Violet and Victor, but you will take care of me when I start boarding school at the Empire Academy, right?"
"Of course," He patted her head.
"So, is it alright if I set you up with a possible wife?"
He was puzzled and curious as to why Alexa asked such a thing.
"Who told you that?"
"Harvey told me."
"Oh, crap."
"He said that he felt bad for his Uncle to live alone and get drunk every night."
"I wasn't getting drunk~~" He bit his tongue as he realized that Alexa and Harvey were telling the truth. "Right, right. Whatever."
"So, do I still get an allowance from you?"
Gray froze as he looked down at Alexa. He shook his head. 0
"Nope. I already gave you to Victor and Violet. Didn't they give you enough money?"
"It's not that. But, I wanted to save money and invest like Quinn."
Gray was too stunned to speak. That he didn't realize that Quinn was everyone's model. She taught them how to dance with a fake alcoholic beverage like they are in the club. She's the one who taught them how to save money and invest. Mostly, Quinn would throw money at people when she's pissed off.
"Where are you going to invest?"
"Well, we had some thoughts." She said, "So, can I have an allowance from you?"
"No." He shook his head. "But I can give you one thousand dollars."
"Not bad." She raised her hand. "Can I have it now?"
"No." He sighed in frustration.
He looked at the kids as Terrence scolded Kal for kissing his daughter. Kal complained and ran to his mother and pointed to Terrence.
"You see, this is why you don't have a girlfriend and your very own child," Alexa said and walked away.
"You little, brat!" He grumbled but he laughed at Kal's dramatic way. Granger, Ian, and Tracey's son were very much puzzled, even Kaiden was puzzled about what was going on. He chuckled and admired the kids. He wished to have one or five.
