Cane could feel her warm body against his and saw her serious expression. Her auburn hair stuck to her neck and when he looked down, he could see his mark peeking from the collar of her dress. Her sweet scent assaulted him. He couldn't help but accept that the mate bond was starting to grow between them.

"The woman said that they can't afford a higher price than this, but the man said they could sell their water magic stones. They have two of them." Iris started to read their conversation, which was mostly only about them bickering about how to afford the entry for the black market, while the man wanted to give it up all, the woman just wanted to drop it altogether. "The man reminded the woman that there is a special item in the black market this time and they need to get it."

On the other hand, Redmond was dumbstruck that Cane used his luna for a second time like this. "I can't believe he uses my luna like this… It never crossed my mind that she can be used like this." He shook his head, while clicking his tongue in disbelief.

"Will, find out who those two people are and tell them I want to buy their two water magic stones." Cane ordered Will to go.

Iris just remembered that Cane needed a water magic stone, but she didn't have any chance to return to the mines before they left for the Moon Dew pack.

"Bring me there," Cane said curtly, cutting off their bickering as they glared at each other, while Iris walked beside the alpha. She turned her head to look at the two of them, just in case they started to bite each other's heads off.

However, she was pulled all of a sudden to the side, until her face bumped into Cane's chest and she hastily straightened herself.0

"Watch ahead when you walk," Cane said, as he let her go, but his eyes were on the man that almost bumped into Iris. It was Alan and Corry.

After the two of them disappeared at the corner, Cane resumed walking away toward the back stage, where he would get the magical tattoo.
