DEGRADING STATEMENT

1Hanna was running on the corridor, as she was frantically looking for Ethan or anyone else, who could confirm the latest news about her missy. 

However, she was stopped by two guards, who blocked her way to enter the warrior quarter. 

"Excuse me, I need to go inside," Hanna said politely, she had met with the two of them a few times, because she used to come and go this place frequently, especially after her missy was being kidnapped. She relentlessly pestered Redmond, Ethan, Trion or anyone else she could find, who were able to give her any information regarding the progress of their search of the alpha and luna. 

She almost broke down in tears when the rumor of alpha Cane managed to find his luna in the Riverside pack after almost a month of her missing. 

Hanna dropped everything she was doing and rushed toward the warrior quarter to confirm it, because the rumor started to circulate within the citizen and they were in uproar, happy for the alpha and luna. 

Though their time in the capital city was not too long, but their contribution to the orphanage was well known. The women would talk about how they wished they found someone like the alpha from the Howling Wolf pack, who would chase down even a cursed beast to find his mate and almost all the people wished the luna would go back to the capital city and continued with the plan to teach those poor lowborn people how to read and write.

They were so relieved and it showed how much impact Iris and Cane had made during their time in the capital city. 

"You know, you shouldn't be here," one of the guards said in cocky tone, as he took a step forward, forcing Hanna to take a step back. "You can't come here."

She frowned because this guard invaded her space. "I have been coming here so often. Why I can't come here now?" 

Hanna could smell there was something wrong with them. They were trying to give her trouble. No, it was not a trouble… Hanna recognized the way they looked at her. They wanted her. 

This was not the first time she got this kind of gaze, thus she recognized it almost immediately. What a jerk!

"Move!" Hanna said coldly, she felt disgusted when their eyes moved to her chest and a lustful smile appeared on the corner of his lips. 

"You don't need to be so angry. Tell me, who you have fun with? A warrior from the Howling Wolf pack? Which one? I am sure we can give you more," the other guard chuckled, as he licked his lip. "Good thing needs to be shared, you know…"

Hanna growled at that statement and she was ready to defend herself. She forgot how immoral these people were, because she was surrounded by the people from the Howling Wolf pack, who would never touch her inappropriately, she forgot how most of the male shifters viewed a woman, especially someone, who were born with low status like her. 

Most of them was driven by their carnal desire and it was not a secret some of the maidservants and omegas without a master, who could protect them would end up to be a bed warmer to please these low guards. 

Their choice was very limited because these guards couldn't get their hand on women above their rank, thus for someone as beautiful as Hanna to be roamed around them was a temptation, especially when she currently didn't have her master around. 

"Touch me and I am going to rip your face!" Hanna growled dangerously, she was ready to shift into her beast when they came closer to her, though she knew her skill wouldn't be enough to take down these two guards, but then, she could runaway faster in her beast form and look for a shelter later on. 

They wouldn't dare to do this to her if the alpha and luna were still here. 

"Don't be so dramatic, you come here so often, why are you trying to act pure and innocent now?" The first guard smacked his lips and didn't even try to hide his intention. 

"If the warrior from my pack see this, you will be dead!" Sharp claws emerged from the tip of her fingers, she wouldn't hesitate to claw them if they were going to touch her, while she was trying to see over their shoulders, whether she could catch a glimpse of one of the warriors. 

The two guards chuckled derisively and amused by Hanna's attempt to fight them. "Howling Wolf pack warrior will not bat an eye if we have our time together. I heard you are not from their pack, you are from the pack that enslaved them for a decade, I am sure they will be fine." 

Hanna growled dangerously. "Step back or else you will regret it!"

Instead of being scared, the two guards laughed at her, shaking their head. "Silly girl. I can pay you if you want, though it shouldn't be necessary, since your kind should be grateful for being pleased. Woman only existed to bear children and please men after all."

Hanna was shaking with anger and wanted to cry out of rage for that degrading statement. It was so common for male shifters to think that way, especially for lowborn, as they used to talk vulgarly and voice out what was in their mind with people in the same rank like them. 

"Fuck off!" Hanna clawed the first guard, who made a move on her, as blood dripped from his wounds and this aggravated him. 

It was still in the middle of the day and there were a few other guards and royal warriors around, but they only watched in amusement, as if this was something common for them. 

"You bitch!" The guard was enraged. 

Hanna immediately shifted into her beast, while the other two guards did the same thing, as they circled her. 

Hanna's grey beast snapped at the other two, while warriors and guards cheered for them from the side. 

However, before things could escalate further, there was a brown wolf dashed toward them and without a second thought, it attacked the two wolves, as it stood in front of the grey one, snarling at the two guards. 

The two wolves immediately shifted back into their human form and were anxious to see this brown wolf, which was no other than the gamma of the Howling Wolf pack.  2

Soon after, three more pack members of the Howling Wolf pack came and stood by Ethan, who had shifted into his human form, so did Hanna. 

"Are you okay?" Trion asked Hanna.

Ethan glanced at Hanna over his shoulder, but then he fixed his eyes on the guards before him. 

"I am fine," Hanna muttered. 

"Are you trying to attack our pack member?" Ethan asked them icily, his body emanated killing intent. He and his pack member had been very sick with these people fucking any women they could have their hands on, but now they really crossed the boundaries by targeting Hanna. 

"Come on, gamma Ethan, is not that serious…" The first guard tried to play it down.
