SHE FELT SO EMBARASSED

Iris could fee her face had turned red when Cane mentioned about last night. She didn't remember it… at first. But then, glimpse of images of what had happened came to her mind to remind her of her action.  0

She kissed him! 

Iris even remembered what what she said to him when she kissed him in front of many people, yet she was too embarrassed to admit it. 

"Are you sure, you don't remember?" Cane looked amused with her blatant lie. 

"Yes, I am sure…" Iris bit her lip, feeling guilty because she lied. She thought, Cane would press the matter, but he dropped it easily. 

"Okay." He nodded and then handed over the cup of tea in his hand, as he took the glass from her. "Drink this. We will ask for our breakfast."

Cane stood up and went to the table, where there were two trays of breakfast, he then grabbed the lizard, which was sleeping on top of the table and used the creature to light up the fireplace, where he threw all the food into the flame.
