After office that day Mai Yuerui returned to her apartment.

She was not in a good mood. As soon as it was 6 she immediately packed her bag and left for her home.

But unfortunately, when she returned she was welcomed by an empty house. All her things as well as furnitures were vanished.

"Did someone robe my stuff?" She looked at the apartment in shock.

She looked at the door but it was in good shape. No sign of forced entry.

"What the hell just happened?" Mai Yuerui pinched her forehead in frustration.

As she was thinking of who can be behind this she immediately knew the answer.

She picked up her phone and dialed a number.

"Is this Dad's doing?" She didn't even let the other person say hello and charged him with question.

"What are you talking about, Sis?" Mai Yirong replied as confused.

"My apartment! Everything is missing!" She yelled.

"Oh! That! It's mom's doing!" Her brother leisurely replied. He was having fun seeing his sister in frustration. She had been bothering him for years only because of changing houses frequently.

"Mom! Why would she do that?" Mai Yuerui was surprised.

"She said that you are a married woman now. And you should stay with your husband.

So she got rid of the furnitures and transferred you belongings to your home." Yirong explained.

"My home?"

"Yes, your and brother-in-law's home."

"Why did she do that? That's not fair. She can't do this to me without even telling me. Mai Yirong, I want my things back. Return them to me right now." She instantly ordered her brother.

Previously Mai Yuerui used to order around her little brother whenever she had issues with her apartment. And Mai Yirong had to oblige to his sister. But this time he didn't had to listen to her.

So he instantly replied, "This time you are on you own, sis. I can't go against Mom."

"Oh, really! Then I will fix this on my own."

"Don't waste you time and energy, sis. Mom has already talked with Dad. And they prohibited all real estate agencies to give you any apartments. You better just go to brother-in-law's house."

'What will I do there when he is not even there!' Mai Yuerui thought.

After ending the call Mai Yuerui had to go to her husband's home reluctantly.

After dropping him home the other night, Sophie didn't contact with Kai.

Kai even asked her the next day about her dressing but she didn't reply.

After returning home from office he lied on his cozy bed and was busy in scrolling his news feed.

Suddenly a known face popped up in his 'people you may know' section.

It was non other than 'Cheng Yi'

"You are a piece of shit. Sophie deserves more." He murmured to himself.

He searched for his messages but was disappointed to see that Sophie didn't reply to him yet.

"Should I ask her again?" He wondered.

"Tsk... Let's give her a call." Saying so he called for her number.

After about 5/6 rings the call was finally received.

"Hello!" The nonchalant voice of Sophie was heard from the other side.

"Hey, it's me, Kai."

"I know. Why did you call?"

"I was worried about your injury. Did you go to change the dressing?"

Sophie looked at the dressing on her hand. The person she was wanting to get a call from didn't even know she was injured. He didn't even bother call her after the party. And this guy had already asked about her twice.

Sophie smirked at the situation.

After clearing her voice she replied, "I was busy. Didn't get time."

"What? You didn't get time? How irresponsible can you be? How will you protect others if you can't even take care of yourself!" Kai became agitated. In fact he was worried about her.

Hearing him getting worked up like this Sophie felt an unusual feeling. She wanted this type of caring from Cheng Yi.

She pursed her lips as she replied, "You don't have to get worked up. I will get it changed tomorrow."

"I don't believe you!" Kai nagged.

"Then I can't do anything about it." She savagely replied.

Kai was loss at words. This woman shows no sign of feminine gesture before him. But acts like a fool in front of that jerk.

He took a breath before saying, "I will go with you tomorrow!"

"Excuse me!" Sophie was surprised.

"I don't know anything. I saw you getting hurt before me. So I have to see you get better by my own eye. I will wait for you in before the hospital in the evening tomorrow, Bye." He quickly cut the call.

He didn't even let Sophie reply. She could only look at her phone in surprise.

After returning home the first thing Mai Yuerui did was to take a shower. After devouring 3-4 packets of instant noodles she finally calmed down herself.

"That stupid Kingkong! He didn't even call me once. Only left that stupid message for me. I couldn't even get even with him for stealing my kiss!" Mai Yuerui talked to herself.

At first Mai Yuerui was angry at Kong Xianwang for running away after kissing her. But now she started to miss him.

She went to his study and looked around the room.

His study room is really well arranged. Documents, books, papers are all arranged in different shelves and sorted out in alphabetic order. His study room looks like it belongs to a mature person. Not a stupid person who runs away after kissing his wife.

Out of boredom she turned on the computer. When she looked for her last post, the comment that drew her attention before popped up before her.

"Did he really ran away because he was not happy with it?" She pondered.

'I did forbid him from getting intimate with me.'0

"Did he ran away because he thought I will get angry?" Mai Yuerui become startled out of her invention.

"Am I angry with him?" She asked herself.

"I am angry that he ran away like this. But am I angry about the fact that he kissed me?" She got lost in deep thoughts.

In the end she found it weird that she didn't feel bad that he kissed her.

Weird!

Mai Yuerui sat on the chair and looked at him in the family picture he kept on the table.

"I wonder what he is doing now." She murmured.

All of a sudden, she got lost in her imagination where Kong Xianwang called for other girl just so he can extinguish the fire that she lit in his body.

"My wife doesn't want me to touch her. But how will I stop this sensation that she ignited in me!" Kong Xianwang said in lustful voice.

"Don't worry, Sir. I will help you satisfy your need." The girls coquettishly replied to him.

And then the two of them....

"NO!" Mai Yuerui screamed on horror when she came back from her dream.

Without thinking anything she rushed to her room.

Kong Xianwang had been locked in the hotel room the whole day.

His work was done the day he arrived.

He he wanted to go back to his wife as soon as he was done. But he still didn't know how to face her.

So he stayed in the hotel the whole day lost in Mai Yuerui's thoughts.

After finishing dinner he thought to watch a movie. As he was watching the movie he heard this phone beep.

A notification of massage from an unknown number popped into the screen.
