"Psychopath…" Huo Mian said when she read this message.

What she didn't know was, this time, Huo Siqian was for real.

Inside one of Tang Chuan's family's private clubs, Su Yu was meeting with a few famous directors. They had coincidentally bumped into Shen Mingxi.

Shen Mingxi did not have a good relationship with the people other than Su Yu. Ever since he and Wei Ying divorced, Su Yu, Wei Liao, and Shen Mingxi rarely met up—their lives no longer crossed.

"Yu…" Shen Mingxi actively greeted Su Yu.

"Oh, you're here too…"

"Yeah, I'm meeting with a few of my clients in the room next door. What a coincidence! Care for a drink?"

"That sounds good…" Su Yu's clients had just left and he did not want to go home yet.

Ever since Tang Chuan left for America, Su Yu had difficulties finding a good drinking buddy.

That was why Su Yu didn't give it much thought and said yes. He looked at the time and saw that it was early so he walked over to Shen Mingxi's private room with him.

"Hey guys, this is Su Yu," Shen Mingxi introduced Su Yu when they walked in.

The few developers were from other cities. Some of them were as old as Su Yu's father but they all stood up politely to greet Su Yu when they heard that it was him. They knew that the Su Family was extremely powerful in this city, especially Grandpa Su, who was still well respected as a strong general even in Jing City. Su Yu, thus, was the only son from one of the most powerful and elite families in this city.

"Young Master Su… It's a pleasure to meet you."

"Please sit. I only came over for a couple of drinks. You guys can continue chatting whatever it was before I came. Don't mind me." Su Yu gestured for them to sit down.

Shen Mingxi had called some innocent-looking university students to come to drink with these developers from other cities.

Shen Mingxi and Su Yu sat together away from the others with wine glasses in their hands.

"Yu, you've been very low-profile recently. I've barely seen you around. You're not at clubs or private resorts, and not even golf courts. I even thought you were on a business trip. What's up?" Shen Mingxi asked.

"Nothing much. It's just been work and going home after work every day."

"That dry?" Shen Mingxi slightly frowned as he obviously did not believe Su Yu was living such a simple life.

"What else do you think I can do?" Su Yu jeered.

"What about Chuan? Don't you guys hang out a lot?"

"Don't mention that traitor. He's dating Qin Chu's younger sister and even ran off to the States to be with her. He doesn't even care about his own mother so who am I to say?"

"I heard about Tang Chuan and that princess of the Qin Family but I thought it was just headlines that the media made up. I never thought it would be real."

"Yeah. Everyone has its conqueror. Qin Chu's younger sister has him completely under control."

"Well, they both come from respectable families. What about you? Have you found someone yet?"

"Nah, I'm still alone."

"Let me introduce you to one. Do you like university students, good girls, or sexy Russian barbies?"

"I don't like any of them." Su Yu shook his head.

"Don't tell me you still like Huo Mian," Shen Mingxi suddenly said.

"What if I still like her? No one can take away my right to like her," Su Yu joked.

"Yu, I don't know if I should say this but…"

"You've already put it like that. If you want to say it, just say it. I'll listen." Su Yu was in a good mood so he was open to talking about Huo Mian.

Rarely did he talk about Huo Mian to people other than Wei Liao and Tang Chuan because he thought his love for Huo Mian was something sacred that shouldn't be gossiped about.
