Overly Handsome.

Li Luxian was in the right. The contract did state that Chen Yi was obliged to such requests from Li Luxian that will ensure that no one suspects their relationship. Chen Yi had no leverage upon Li Luxian. Thus, she must go for other means to gain his consent for a separate residence. 1

Taking a deep breath, she looked at Li Luxian. With eyes closed, one of his arm resting over the armrest while other over the couch back there seemed to be a magical appeal in his appearance. The slight tilt of his lips accentuated his overall looks granting him an even profound countenance.

Chen Yi's heart palpitated. 

Once again, she cursed him for being so ridiculously handsome.

But, nevertheless, she had to do this or-or there was no way to persuade the Devil to let her live separately.

With that thought in her mind, she strengthened her resolve and recalled the specifics from her memory. 

"Are you not taking too long?" Li Luxian commented with closed eyes. "How long do you intend to make the heir of the Li family wait? You better hurry or you might lose your chance."

Even though she knew he could not see this, Chen Yi glared at him. Just when she had persuaded her heart to move forward, he had to say those words.

Despite his closed eyes, Li Luxian could fairly sense her glare. In response, he let out a low chuckle. "I'm saying this for your own good. You still have to attend your class—" A finger pressed onto his lips, effectively silencing him.

"Hush it!" Chen Yi berated. "There is another condition. You can't talk. Stop distracting me or you lose."

Before Chen Yi could pull back her hand, Li Luxian grasped her hand, holding it firmly at its position. Chen Yi was perplexed when, all of sudden, the warmth of a large palm enveloped her. Not soon afterward, she felt his lips curling up into a nefarious smile; she realized he must be planning something wicked.

"LI Luxian you—" Before she could warn him, he had already taken action. His lips opened slightly, smoothly pulling her finger into his mouth.

Chen Yi's eyes widened at the sensation that surrounded her finger. In an instant, she reacted pulling back her finger with all her might

However, Li Luxian stopped her from escaping even an inch away from him. His large palm grasped her hand in its warmth. The strength of his hold was a force to be reckoned. That despite her full withdrawal, Chen Yi could not get her hand free from his hold.

"Li Luxian! What the hell are you doing? This is not how things are supposed to go!" Chen Yi immediately complained.

The truth was, after pulling her finger into his mouth, Li Luxian had gently sucked onto it. The sensation that enveloped her finger was driving her insane. Her heart had already gone into hyperdrive. If she did not stop him now, she feared she might not be able to stop him ever again. Her plan would be ruined!

Still, with her finger secured in his mouth, the corners of Li Luxian lips tilted upward into that characteristic wicked smile of his. He let her hand loose. Chen Yi pulled her finger out of his mouth immediately. However, he didn't let her withdraw her hand completely.

In the end, the tip of her finger rested upon his lip, not allowed to be retracted any further.

The softness of his lips at the tip of the finger felt very peculiar.

"Tell me, my dear wife," slowly those deep shimmering eyes opened, "how do you want to take the things then?"

Chen Yi sucked in a deep breath. When his eyes opened, she felt completely exposed. Her face was red; her heart was pounding as if she had just run a marathon; her breathing was uneven and ragged. Now those charming eyes brimming with deep insight appeared in front of her and gazed into her own eyes, she felt like he could see through her.

Immediately, she shot her right hand forward and covered his eyes.

"You were not allowed to open your eyes!" She commanded in panic.

Only once those eyes were covered resulting in the breaking of their eye contact, Chen Yi heaved a sigh in relief.

Now that she could once again think straight, she rearranged her jumbled thoughts. Clearing her throat, resurrecting her confident tone, she said. "You broke the rule, Mr. Li. You gave me your words. Where is your honor as a man?" In a chastising tone, she said.

Corners of Li Luxian lips only titled up in response. "What can I do when I have such a beautiful wife? You are the one to blame for taking too long while gawking at me and not going on with it."

Chen Yi gasped at the shamelessness of the man. "Who was gawking at you?"

"The same woman who sits on my lap and has my eyes covered so she can continue gawking without any restrain."

"That-That's not why I covered your eyes, alright!" Chen Yi humphed. Why was he so impossible? She only covered his eyes because his eyes were too dangerous, too invasive! If she had not covered her eyes, he would have seen through her each and every action. Then, how could she have succeeded in her plan and elicit a response out of him? That was all!

Instead, he blamed her for gawking at him?

How shameless!

"If you were not gawking at me," Li Luxian resonant voice pulled Chen Yi out of her resentful thoughts. "Then why would you take so long for going on?"

"That, that's because—" That's because you are too handsome! Is that even a question to ask? How can I touch you before preparing my heart appropriately? It is already a great achievement that I am sitting so close to you without fainting, alright?

"Yes? That's because?" The smile on Li Luxian lips never disappeared as he continued to provoke her.
