New Land

"I don't think that it matters since the content of the game was more important... Anyway, do you really plan to let them play the same game with us? I mean, they will be fighting together with magicians against the powerful Dorssian Empire, wouldn't that be too difficult for them?"

Miya asked curiously. She had played the Alien Invasion Mode for a while now and knows the difficulty of this virtual game. Those non-magicians can stay at the stronghold to be safe but where was the fun on that?

The VR Pod for them may be less expensive but the amount would still be sizable. If they won't be enjoying the game and get stuck inside the stronghold, they might quit playing after the hype dies down.

"Mhmm... It will definitely be hard for them but I think that they can contribute to a lot more things than you can imagine... As long as they have the knowledge and right tools with them. They can accomplish things that magicians cannot..."

"Hahaha... I don't discriminate them but what can they do without magic? At most, they can be used as a labor force... Well, that would really be helpful."

Wallace smiled after hearing her words. It can't be helped that she thought that way since magicians were always at the top in this world's society. 

Although non-magicians had also accomplished many things that made their life easier, the Magicians always thought that they can do better than that if they decided to dabble on it. 

"Well, who knows? Maybe, the game would help them realize their dreams..."

Wallace said mysteriously, aside from letting the non-magicians take part in being a Mechanic, he was planning something for them as long as they persevere. 

They chatted a bit more as Miya started asking Wallace to let Avalon play the game as a human.

"Huh? Avalon and I created the whole game, especially Avalon. In case you've forgotten, that's an A.I., Artificial Intelligence..."

Wallace meant many things for saying that.

"I know that, but Avalon seems to be better than Freya..."

'Avalon made Freya, you know?' Wallace wanted to say but stopped himself.

"Anyway, I'll just let Avalon accompany you like Freya within the game. Is that fine?" Wallace said as he didn't really mind it. 

He already has eyes on some interesting people within the game. 

"Sigh~ Alright, that would be fine..."

"Great... Then, please continue to work hard..."

"Of course, just contact my manager when you need help."

"Sure..."

Wallace was referring to various advertisements planned for the game. Although the VR pod for non-magicians will be released, the advertisements for the first version wouldn't stop as Wallace wanted to have a wider range of players. 

Most players at the moment were from his country and Maja. He would like to introduce them to other countries so he will be needing her image to easily do this.

Wallace quickly returned to his room at his villa using his Void Phase and started to open the three mystery boxes he set aside. 

After a few moments, he received something very helpful not for him but to others.

[ You have received a Recipe of Body Strengthening Potion ( Small ) ]

[ You have received a Bottle of Mana Rejuvenation ] 

"Oh! This is it!"

Ever since he received the recipe for his berserk potion, he was already looking forward to getting the recipe for other potions and even for the Divine Sense.

Unfortunately, he never had such luck as he was receiving some random things and only today did he receive what he wanted the most. 

The bottle of Mana Rejuvenation would at most help magicians to reach the Arcane Baptism but for Body Strengthening Potion, the magicians that will benefit weren't just the magicians below the Arcane level but to those who had reached above this level as well. 

Wallace quickly glanced at the ingredients and procedure listed at the recipe. 

"Guh... I should ask father about this..."

He muttered as he remembers that Chase helped him with regards to his berserk potion.

"No, wait. I have a Mage Doctor here... He should be able to help or I can ask him to get someone to manufacture this potion for me."

Wallace corrected himself as he almost forgot the old man living here.

It was a good idea and it can wait. This old man should know someone that can help him even if he wasn't interested in this potion. 

These potions were no longer useful for Wallace as he has already reached the limit of its consumption long ago. 

Now that he has some time, he also checked the previous rewards he got from the mystery boxes. 

There were some gold coins, anti-aging cream, and spectacle that hasn't been put to use yet. 

The gold coins that the box gave wasn't from the galactic federation nor the empire. It wasn't even close to the gold coins on this planet. It did not match with any other country's form of money. 

If he would make some guess, the mysterious gold coins engraved with a unique pattern was probably from Lonar Alliance, a unique coin from the northern continent, or perhaps some coins from the Ancient Mayan, the origin of the Cube of Paradox. 

"Hey... Can you tell me the origin of these coins already?"

Wallace asked and as expected, the Pathfinder didn't answer him. 

Anyway, he checked the glass-like spectacle. It looks so fragile that it may shatter at any moment. 

He used the skill of his Necklace of Clarity to identify the item since only its name was written. 

"Glimpse of the Mind..."

The description only gave a little help so Wallace gave it a try. 

With Avalon's help, he quickly determined that the Vision Correction wasn't that good as his eyesight was already better.

As for the False Identity, he will get a random image if he activated it making a perfect disguise. The effect will be removed if he no longer wears the spectacle and if he stopped sending mana to it. He wasn't sure whether this will be helpful so he set that aside for now. 

The Anti-Aging Cream, on the other hand, was really a mysterious thing.

Wallace doesn't have much to do as everything was now mostly being done by Avalon and he just have to patiently wait for the good news. 

As for his other body, the Mage Doctor would still take some time to study the Secret Art so he can relax in the meantime.

Wallace looked at his mobile device and saw an unfamiliar name registered on it.

"Mr. Harold? Avalon, who is this person?"

He didn't answer the phone yet and instead asked the floating metal ball beside him.

[ He is the lawyer assisting you with purchasing the whole mountain. I notified him to only contact us if there is a significant progress or problem he was unable to resolve. ] 

"I see..."

Wallace nodded as he decided to answer the call after learning the caller's identity.

"Hello, Mr. Harold..."

"This voice... I believe I'm speaking with Mr. Wallace this time?"

"Yes... I'm about to call you as well. I'm sorry that I haven't been in touch while you're working hard out there..."

"Haha! That's fine... Anyway, It's good that I can talk to you now. I have a good news for you... As long as you have the money, you can purchase the plot of land. I used a bit of your master's reputation as instructed by Miss Minerva so keep that in mind..." 

"Really? Then if that's the case... We'll buy it now... The price doesn't matter!"

The expenses for creating a space fleet would be handled by Veda so it doesn't really matter how much was the price as he will either refund it to the A.I. or he'll let it know quickly to settle the payment. 

"Oh... When you said that you used my master's reputation... what should I keep in mind?"

"Well, since the one purchasing the land was his disciple, there maybe some curious people looking out on that land..."

"They will spy here?"

"You can say that they wanted to know the real purpose of you purchasing that land. So make sure that you have some mouse trap there... Hahaha..."

"Heh... Is that so? Anyway, as long as I have this land for my own, it shouldn't be a big problem. Right, how about the other land we mention.."

"Oh, the previous mine site... Give me at least a week for that..."

"That's fast... very well, I'll be waiting for the good news."

After ending the call,  Wallace immediately gave instructions to Avalon... 

"Use half of your work force to create more automatons. Then communicate with the various manufacturers and suppliers. We need to quickly start renovating this mountain..."
