[Bonus chapter]Too young to be twisted
Meanwhile…1
"So, who is he?"
"Huh?" Heaven raised her brows, setting her eyes on Dominic, who was on her side in the backseat. "You mean, Senior Wu?"
His eyes glinted faintly, hiding the displeasure he felt each time she would address the man affectionately. Although there wasn't anything affectionate in that, considering she was simply being polite.
"Yes, that Senior Wu," Dominic stressed.
"Baby, are you jealous of him?" Heaven cocked her head to the side, blinking.
"No, I'm not," he denied. "I'm curious what he did to upset you."
"Ehh… he didn't upset me, but Paula." Heaven elbowed him playfully. "Paula and I are supposed to meet, right? But she was late and Senior Wu saw me. I thought it was a coincidence, but it turned out he was also meeting Paula."
Heaven dramatically leaned to Dominic's side, hugging his arm, pouting. "I was upset because, for a second, I thought she was setting me up on a date. How insensitive is that?"
"Paula Shen did that?" A layer of frost coated Dominic's eyes as he got a grasp of what his wife was saying.
"Hm. No matter how deep her desire to make it up to me, it's just not good. Senior Wu is really popular and the paparazzi often follow him around. It'll be a huge scandal if they saw us together!" Heaven complained, knowing going ahead before Paula pulled off anything wicked would save her the trouble.
Heaven sighed, almost melting into Dominic's body. "But that's not what truly upsets me. It was a fact you might misunderstand. I don't care about rumors, but if it will hurt you and Basti, I will not forgive her."
Dominic assessed his wife's expression and sighed.
"Don't worry." He slipped his hand in between her fingers, smiling. "It's disappointing, but I don't think she means it like that."
'You don't believe that, do you? You're not stupid, Dominic,' was her initial thought as there was a tinge of doubt in his eyes. She already noticed it this morning, but Heaven chose to keep a blind eye for a reason.
"Still upsetting." She pouted but was relieved she avoided a disaster falling to her. "I'm glad you came. I feel much calmer now. Thanks for coming, my love."
Dominic pressed his lips, smiling. He played with her fingers, letting her put all her weight on his side.
"I'm also glad I came," he admitted quietly, making her chuckle. "I thought you will dislike it."
"And why would you think like that?"
"Freedom." He shrugged while Heaven peeled away from him, looking at his face. "They're still your friends, after all."
"You're right, but you're my husband." She blinked. "I don't see the problem with that."
"Since when did you want to introduce me to your friends?" he humored, not thinking about what he said as it just naturally slipped out of his mouth.
This was Heaven's fault. Because of the transparency she was exercising, it was starting to influence Dominic and Sebastian. More like they were being hypnotized — brainwashed, but in a good way.
"I don't have friends." Heaven grinned. "I kept giving Paula a chance, but she keeps disappointing me. Say, are there rumors about you two?"
"Rumors?" Dominic cocked his head to the side.
'So, he doesn't know?'
"Never mind." Heaven waved dismissively. "Anyway, we still have half an hour before Basti's class ends. Do you have other plans? Or will you pick him up with me?"
"We can go to the office together," he proposed. "Though, I'm curious. Why did you ask me to tell Dane to ride the other car?"
Heaven kept her smile as she innocently answered, "I don't want him to distract you."
Dominic blinked, a little puzzled at her answer. To be honest, there was nothing Dane could do to distract him from his wife. Little did he know, Heaven was just getting back at Dane for blocking Dominic's view of her previously.
It was a petty revenge, but Dane was grateful.
It would be an eyesore to see Heaven and Dominic flirt in the back seat. At least, the only person who was suffering from the overflowing affection in the backseat was the driver.

[Learning Center]
"Wow… are these your snacks? Your mommy is really cool!" a boy praised another boy as the latter placed his lunchbox on the table.
"Of course! My mommy always makes me the best snacks!" the boy bragged, casting Sebastian a look. "Unlike someone who doesn't have a mommy, my mommy takes care of me."
"Hey, Basti!" called the boy to Sebastian. "What is that you're carrying? Did you ask your nanny to make your snacks?"
Sebastian just glanced at the little boy but said nothing. He proceeded to take his lunchbox out, opening it and smiling subtly.
This was the first time he came to the learning center with a lunchbox prepared by his mother. It warmed up his heart, making him ignore the other kid's bragging.
"Wow… that looks very pretty." Suddenly, a young girl praised the presentation of Sebastian's snacks.
Sebastian looked up at her, only to see a classmate from school who was also going to the same learning center. She had a pair of doe eyes, a clip on the side of her curly hair, and chubby cheeks.
"I saw you earlier come in with a lady," said the young girl, smiling amicably. "Is that your auntie? She's very pretty. Is she the one who made you a lunchbox?"
Sebastian lowered his eyes and smiled warmly. "She's not my auntie," said Sebastian as he raised his head, looking at the little girl.
"She's my mother and yes, she made this lunchbox for me." There was a sense of pride shining in his eyes, rendering the little girl speechless as this was the first time she had seen this gloomy boy smile.
"Basti's mom is really pretty!" the girl grinned. "Do you want to have snacks together? My mom also made me snacks — look!"
The girl excitedly showed her lunchbox, but Sebastian simply glanced at it.
"Mine is still prettier," he muttered, looking at his snacks. "It's so pretty. It's a shame to touch and ruin it."
"Aww… but you're right!" the little girl compared her lunchbox and Basti's and she had to agree. "Yours is prettier."
The girl's praises garnered some other kids' attention, flocking around Sebastian to see his lunchbox. The presentation was cute. Even the omelet has a heart shape on top of the adorable decorations all over.
As more children gathered around the usually gloomy Sebastian, the other kid frowned. These kids usually praise his snacks since his mother had taken extra care of his lunchbox. But now, they were all around Sebastian.
'Liar. My mom said he doesn't have a mom,'thought the child in his twisted little mind. 'I'll teach you a lesson later for lying to everyone.'
