"Ha ha…" the woman awkwardly laughed, grinding her teeth as she looked down at her son. Her son's brows rose, baffled at his mother's reaction.2

"Principal Feng, I think we heard enough." Dominic coldly focused on the principal. "I don't think it was my son's fault this time. That kid should apologize."

"What? But why?" Little Yun, Basti's bully, brushed his mother's hand away from his mouth. "Why do I need to apologize? There's nothing wrong with what I did. Mommy, I just said the truth! Basti should apologize to me!"

"Madam, if I were you, I'd keep his mouth shut." A glint flickered across Heaven's eyes while her hand underneath Dominic's trembled. "I'm certain you knew he shouldn't be saying those things you taught him."

Little Yun frowned, looking up at his mother, his brows furrowed. His mother's lips turned pale, and the child disliked what his mother was showing. In his eyes, Sebastian's dad and the other woman who came with Dominic were bullying his mother. 

"I will not apologize." the boy crossed his arms grumpily, glaring at Sebastian. 

Meanwhile, Sebastian, Dominic, and Heaven bore the same cold expression. But a child like him hadn't understood the gravity of his words and actions. He was unaware of what Sebastian's parents could do to make his family suffer. 

"Hah… I don't know where you heard all those things," the mother nervously broke her silence, tugging her child's hand. "Little Yun, that's not nice. I know you didn't mean harm, but I think you misunderstood! Come, apologize to little Sebastian."

The child's frown deepened. "Mommy…"

"Yun." His mother widened her eyes as a warning. "Apologize to him right this instant."

"Come on, little Yun." The principal backed up with a sigh. "What you said is hurtful."

With the principal and his mother urging him to apologize when he said nothing wrong, the child grumpily glared at Sebastian. 

"I don't want to," said the child. "My daddy told me not to be ashamed of what I'm fighting for. Especially if I did nothing wrong. I will not apologize."

"Little Yun…" the principal sighed, getting more annoyed at this child. 

It was already a blessing Dominic only wanted them to apologize, even though his son was hurt. Considering Dominic's disposition, it was only natural for him to be more lenient toward the center and the other kid. 

This was a children's dispute. Therefore, the principal assumed Dominic wouldn't go as far as to press charges. 

"Ironic, isn't it?." This time, Heaven broke her silence, keeping her eyes on the woman. "This child claimed that my son is violent because he had no mother. However, your son, despite the guidance of his mother and father — perhaps even the entire clan — is growing up with twisted little horns. But I guess it's not your son's fault that violence runs in the family."

The woman's breath hitched at Heaven's comment. "What did you say?!"

"Am I wrong? You are someone who raises your hand to others, so why am I surprised? You struck me for no purpose before, but I won't overlook it if it's my son." Heaven covered Sebastian's ears to prevent him from hearing her remarks. "I warned you, Madam. You are not the only mother in this room — I am Sebastian Zhu's mother, and I'd go to war for him. Be grateful your neck is still attached to your shoulders, but I assure you I'm barely keeping it together for his sake."

The woman, the principal, and the teachers held their breaths as shock overtook them. Did they hear Sebastian's mother correctly? It was a surprise Heaven turned out to be Sebastian's mother, but everything she said was nothing but threats. 

Threats… that sent a chill down their spine.

Meanwhile, Dominic glanced at his wife. Deep lines were visible between his brows, analyzing his wife's threats. But unlike the threats others focused on, his mind was stuck in Heaven's first sentence. Now that Heaven mentioned it, there was a day she came home with a slightly swollen cheek. 

When he asked, Heaven told him she accidentally slapped herself. He knew it was a lie, but didn't press on the matter. But now, he got his answers. Dominic didn't know why or how Heaven encountered this woman, but what he was certain was her cheek swelled because of that slap. 

"Principal Feng, I will withdraw my son from this center." Dominic decided, setting his eyes on the principal. 

"Mr. Zhu —"

"He is not safe here. If you have anything else to tell me, you can talk to my legal team. I'll press charges in this center for tolerating such behavior. A school is supposed to be a safe place for these children, but unfortunately, this happened inside the premises," he added in one go. "You shouldn't leave the children unsupervised. I see this as neglect from the school and teachers. Thus, you bear the consequences."

He then gazed at the mother and child across from them. 

"Mr. Zhu…" the woman's voice shook under Dominic's icy gaze. 

"We gave you the chance to settle this with a simple apology. However, not only did your child harm my son, but you yourself raised your hand to my wife. I think your family thinks so little of the Zhu Family, Madam." Dominic shook his head mildly while holding the woman's gaze. "Don't apologize anymore because I will not apologize for what I'm going to do."

Dominic squeezed Heaven's hand mildly as he faced her. "We're done here," he said and cast Sebastian a look. "Can you walk?"

Sebastian pressed his lips into a thin line and nodded. 

"Let me carry your bag." Heaven quietly reached for Sebastian's bag, holding his hand as they stood from their seat. 

The family of three were quiet as they departed their seat. But just as they took a few steps, the woman panicked. She hurriedly went in front of them, going down on their knees while rubbing her hands in panic.

"Mr. Zhu! Please don't do this to us! My little Yun is young and doesn't know what he was saying. I'm sure he didn't mean it!" she pleaded in a frenzy, swallowing all her pride and elegance. "I'll teach my son! This will not happen again, so please, just this once!"
