Heaven made a lot of thinking last night that even Dominic noticed how distracted she was. She only reasoned about their absence at the family gathering, in which Dominic reassured her not to worry. Perhaps that was the reason Dominic volunteered to drop Sebastian to school so she could rest. 

Their weekend might have been pure leisure, but it was still exhausting. That was what Dominic and Sebastian believed. Thus, they wanted to give Heaven some time to recharge. 

How considerate… not knowing the me-time they were giving her would be used to this sort of situation. 

'How repulsive,' she thought, having this growing repugnance in her heart. 'I wanted to kill her for making me feel like a piece of shit.'

Being aware of her past as Hera would constantly bite her whenever she tried to be a proper human being as Heaven Liu. Everything was going great until this woman showed up in front of her last night. Now, not only she had to fight the monsters dwelling in her mind, but she also had to act like usual while holding a person captive just right beneath this peaceful home.

'All I want to get away from that life and yet… you come and slap me with the reality that I can't.' Her eyes sharpened, holding herself back from hurting this woman even more. 'You don't have any idea how disgusted I felt touching my son because of you.'

"Your food." Heaven slid the tray closer. "You should eat to have some strength."

Andrea assessed Heaven's face with narrowed eyes. She could feel her stomach grumbling. Not only she was tired and wounded, but she also hadn't eaten since last night. 

"It's not poisoned," Heaven reassured, sighing. "I can't kill you just yet since I haven't gotten any information. I still don't know why you wanted to kill me or who ordered you to kill me. So, go ahead."

Heaven slid the tray a little closer again, keeping a sincere expression that broke when Andrea's determination waned. 

"I mean, even if I pissed and spit on it, it's still food and not poisoned." The corner of her lips curled up subtly, holding her laughter as Andrea glared at her. "You need strength so you can last long."

Heaven tipped over the tray, causing the food to spill on the floor. She then carefully picked up the plates, placing them back on the tray while leaving the food on the floor. 

Standing up with eyes down at Andrea, a layer of frost covered her eyes. "I will give you a day to think things through. I'm giving you a chance to make it up to me and I guarantee you, you will get out of this place alive. All I want is the truth."

"I will give you my word, Andrea," Heaven added solemnly. "Meeting me might be a blessing, but at the same time, it can be your worst nightmare. The choice is yours."

With that being said, Heaven turned on her heel and walked away. Meanwhile, Andrea could only stare at Heaven's back with a blank expression.

If what happened last night didn't occur, Heaven wouldn't have any plans for the day. Well, she would probably work in the garden and delve deep into gardening to kill time. Perhaps she would tag along with Dominic even as decoration. 

But things happened. 

Therefore, Heaven had many things to do which she wished she wouldn't do in this life. One of them was purchasing a computer. The original Heaven had a laptop, but it was an old model. It wouldn't be able to work properly or make Heaven work efficiently. 

After procuring a new computer, Heaven set it up on her own. It had been a while since she had done such a thing. In her previous life, she had people to do it for her. 

'I never thought a day would come where I'd be thankful for keeping the memories of my past,'she thought after building the computer, gazing at it in satisfaction. 'It still comes in handy in a situation like this.' 

Heaven huffed as she dragged the chair, starting up the computer patiently. She worked on it, installing things she needed to install. However, unlike the ones a normal person had, she downloaded stuff that could prevent others from tracking her IP address and such. 

It took her some time to go through her computer's system and modify it so it wouldn't raise suspicion. As long as Bear wouldn't go through this device, Heaven would be safe. This computer would appear normal, but with the right know-how, it could access the deepest parts of the dark web and confidential data. 

The sound of the keyboard filled Heaven's quiet room, as her eyes were fixed on the monitor. What Heaven wanted was information. There was a high possibility that Andrea would stubbornly keep her mouth shut, and Heaven couldn't just wait.

She already had Andrea captive, but that wasn't the finish line. It was just the start and Heaven was aware time was not on her side. If anything, she was running out of time.

Heaven's expression turned cold at the letters on the screen, reading those same words that used to greet her every time she would open her account. A program created solely for Hera where all information in the underground was kept. A program that even the most influential people in the world wanted to get their hands on, and was considered one of Hera's biggest assets.

The Devil's Eye. 

'Yeah…' she sighed, closing her eyes to take a deep breath. When she reopened her eyes, all there was emptiness. 'Unfortunately, I am back.'
