[Bonus chapter]As you wished
"I'm sorry." Paula pursed her lips, eyes on the man beside her. "I'll do better next time and make plans."
Primo smiled. "Why are you sorry, dear?" he slipped his hand to her hand, taking it to his lap.
"I only thought we should take your best friend since we're the only ones you got," he added in a heartfelt tone. "But no pressure. I mean, it's still a date. As long as we're together, the rest doesn't matter, right?"
Paula's eyes softened, smiling lovingly at him. Meanwhile, Primo's eyes fell on her hands.
"Although you have to do something with your hands, dear." He fluttered his eyelashes back to her. "People might think I'm abusing you."
"Who would think like that? Also, I can't stop them." She frowned, gazing down at her trembling and sweating hands. "They won't stop, Primo. Should I get checked?"
"Have you been drinking the tea I sent you?"
"Yes." She lifted her head back to him. "They're really good and soothing. I hadn't had any trouble sleeping since drinking it. Also, the scented candles help a lot. But I forgot to drink it this morning because I overslept and didn't want to make you wait."
"Aww…" Primo stroke her hair, moved by her gesture. "That's so sweet, but you know I can wait for you, right?"
Paula blushed. "I know that, but I just missed you."
"Come here, you sweet little thing." Primo slowly pulled her into his embrace, tapping the back of her head with gentleness. "Ever since I saw you, I also haven't stopped thinking about you."
Paula clasped his chest, smiling subtly. Her eyes were heavy, listening to his soothing voice.
"Primo, I'm a little sleepy," she whispered. "Can you give me the tea you sent me the other day?"
"Should we have one before we go to our destination, dear?"
"Mhm." Paula slowly closed her eyes, knowing she was safe with her boyfriend.
But alas...
"Then I'll wake you up once we reach my place," he whispered, stroking her head gently until he could feel her head get heavier. All traces of gentleness disappeared from his face, letting her head rest on his lap.
"Boss." Suddenly, the person in the front passenger seat spoke. The man looked back at the back seat to make sure Paula was sleeping. "Are we still going?"
"No need." Primo leaned back, moving away until Paula's head was resting on the seat. "There's no point when my date is sleeping."
The man from the front seat shifted his eyes to Paula. "She will get hooked at this point."
"She can die for all I care. After all, we've confirmed she's not Dominic's woman." Primo turned his head to the window, cupping his jaw.
"Then why keep her when you already know she's not Dominic's woman?"
"Because… she has a bit of importance in Dominic's woman." Primo narrowed his eyes, thinking about Heaven. "Heaven Liu is truly impressive, though I wonder why that man is working for her."
"You mean… that old beast?"
"The old beast who can rip you apart with his bare hands, yes." Primo arched a brow. "Any updates on the thing I asked?"
"Which one?"
Primo cast the man in the front seat a look. "Andrew Song."
"Well, about that…" Primo raised a brow, watching his henchman struggle in giving him answers. The man cast Primo a conflicted look as he said, "Thing is, they moved Andrew Song to a different cell. The guy we hired to finish him couldn't do the job."
"They moved him to a different cell?"
"Yes."
"How?"
"According to my source, they moved him to a different cell after Miss Liu visited him."
"Heaven Liu." Primo narrowed his eyes. "Why did she visit the person who stabbed her?"
"I don't know, boss." The man sighed. "But right now, there's no way to touch Andrew Song unless we can bribe an officer."
"Why haven't you done that?"
"The warden in that prison is under Dominic's influence. Dominic Zhu is practically the one running it if only he wants to. Therefore, they were making sure Andrew Song serve his time."
There was a moment of silence that took over the inside of the vehicle. The man in the front passenger seat could only wonder what was going on inside his boss' wicked mind. Primo disliked not having control, after all. But what he disliked the most was being stopped by Dominic Zhu.
"I see." After some time, Primo broke his silence. He leaned back and closed his eyes, adding, "End that one who didn't do the job well."
"Yes, Boss."
"Dominic Zhu…" Primo hissed, partially opening his eyes. "... he always feels like a stone fortress one couldn't easily infiltrate. How annoying."
"Boss."
"Find ways to end Andrew Song and keep a close eye on Heaven Liu." Primo turned his head slightly, staring at the window, but his focus was on his faint reflection. "Let's visit Mr. Tong. I can't let Dominic Zhu take another step ahead of me."
The man in the front passenger seat lowered his head, casting the driver a look. The driver only cast the other man a side-eye, making a turn as they changed their destination.

Meanwhile, in an exclusive country club…
"As expected of CEO Zhu!" the old men in casual golf club attires clapped, grinning at Dominic after the man did a spectacular swing. "Goodness. Us old men truly need to up the game!"
The men — three men raging from 60 to 70 — praised their way to Dominic's vicinity. All of them were all smiles, watching Dominic face them.
"You flatter me more than you should," said Dominic in a monotonous tone, only to receive arguments that they were simply telling the truth.
"Come on, CEO Zhu. You don't need to be humble at all times!" said the old man, along with a burst of joyous laughter.
"Sir." Just before Dominic could think of how he would stop these men from singing praises, Dane approached them.
The men and even Dominic turned their attention to Dominic's assistant. Seeing the solemn look on Dane's face, Dominic faced the men he was playing golf with.
"I will have to excuse myself first. Please, enjoy the game even when I'm not here."
"Haha! Of course, we understand that you are a busy man. Don't worry about us, Mr. Zhu!"
"Yes. Though if you have time again, you can play with us!"
"We're always here, after all! Hehe. We old men just had nothing to do!"
Dominic stayed for a while, listening to these old men before finally making his exit. As he walked away, Dane followed a step behind him.
"Sir, I received a report regarding the man you were looking for," reported Dane, making Dominic's steps halt. Dominic slowly glanced over his shoulder as Dane continued. "It seemed Leon Zhu is dead — murdered by the new Don of the organization he worked for."
"Is that so?"
Dane pressed his lips into a thin line, making Dominic completely look back at him.
"What else, Mr. Zhang?" he asked.
"The new Don seemed to be in this country." Dane let out a deep exhale. "I'm just worried Leon Zhu did something that might implicate the Zhu Family."1
Dominic stayed quiet for a second, turning on his heel to walk away. As he did, he ordered;
"Find out who is this new Don and what were his motives are in setting foot in my territory."
"Yes, Sir!" Dane bowed, standing in the same spot while Dominic walked away.
But after seven steps, Dominic suddenly halted in his steps.
"Also," he said, turning around to Dane once again. "Raise the security around Mr. Tong. I get the feeling there's something else we missed."
Dane furrowed his brows but still bowed. "As you wished."
