[Bonus chapter]Sis... what should I do?
2When the man with an orange mohawk caught an approaching car from the distance, he hissed. "Hah! Those motherfuckers! Hey! Get my bat. I'm going to break his fucking legs this time."
As soon as they heard him, the other two guys turned their heads in the light ahead. The other guy was helping the driver get out of the car. Fortunately, the driver only broke his nose and passed out for a moment, saving themselves in the nick of time.
"Ugh…" the driver, with a now broken nose, winced, glancing at the incoming car. "... that bitch. She'll regret ever messing with me."
Seeing that Axel and Heaven had the gall to return instead of running away, the other two guys went in the car's trunk to get something they could use as a weapon.
"Yo!" called one of the guys, tossing a metal baseball bat to the man with an orange mohawk. The latter caught it in the air without a problem, jumping from the bumper, and then stood in the middle of the road.
"Did they think they can get away just like that?" the mohawk guy sneered, warranting a chuckle from the only woman with them. He rested the baseball bat on his shoulder, waiting for the car to reach them.
Meanwhile, the other guys also stood in the middle of the road. By the look in their eyes and the murderous intent exuding from them, one could tell it only meant trouble. However, as the car approached, they all narrowed their eyes.
"Shit!" the man with a mohawk cursed through his gritted teeth, running to the side as they realized the car didn't show any sign of stopping. Not just him, but all of them fled to safety.
CRASH!!!
Axel gasped for air when Heaven crashed the car into the one that was parked in the middle of the road. He held onto the handle tightly, pulling back against the chair. However, just when he thought Heaven was done, she drove in reverse.
"Sis!!" he yelled on instinct, looking at the driver's seat. "What the —"
Axel's mouth fell even wider as Heaven drove forward, steering the wheel to hit the other car's bumper until the car moved, giving way for her to drive past it. But that wasn't over because Heaven only drove to the distance and then turned around, revving up the car as if warning all of them to run away now.
"That fucker—" the guy with a mohawk ground his teeth, staring at the car revving not far away. "That crazy bitch. Shit!"
After a breath, Heaven stepped on the pedal, speeding back to where the rogues were. The rouges fell off the road, and one of them almost got run over by her as she drove near the sidewalk. However, she didn't intend to run over them but rather scare them.
"Heh…" Heaven snickered as she turned around once again, searching for the people waiting for them earlier. She almost laughed upon seeing them rise from the sidewalk with an ugly look on their faces.
"Sis…" not only the rogues had an ugly look plastered on their faces, but Axel as well. "... is this what you meant when you said you won't get hurt?"
Heaven snapped her eyes at him, giving the rogues some time to recover and think about their situation. "Why? Were you expecting I'd talk to them and ask them to apologize to you? Or do you think I'm crossing the line?"
"N — no." Axel breathed out, catching up to his breathing as his heart was racing. "That's not what I meant. I'm just saying… you could've hit them!"
"I didn't plan to hit them." Heaven slowly peeled her eyes from him to the people not far away. "But if I do, then that's better."
"Better?!" he gasped in disbelief. "Are you hearing yourself?! What if you killed them if you do?!"
"Much better."
His mouth nearly fell on the floor, rendered speechless, wide eyes at her side profile.
"Dead men tell no tale, little brother." The corner of her lips curled up wickedly, hearing the curses from those guys while they warily stared at their vehicle. "If I run over them and they died, we'll have to bury them. Do you know how to dig?"
"Sis!! This is not the time for a joke! You're scaring me!" Axel harrumphed, unable to resist the goosebump all over his body.
"Pfft—!" Heaven burst out in laughter, casting him a playful look. "Sorry. It's just that you look so tense!"
Of course, he would be tensed! Who wouldn't?!
Axel scrunched his nose, assessing her warily to see if she was truly joking. "Goodness. I thought for a second you're being serious!"
She was, though. Worse comes to worst, they would be busy digging a few graves tonight.
"I'm just scaring them off." She set her eyes ahead, wondering what those guys were up to. They weren't running, nor did they seem they would attack. If anything, the woman was saying something to the guy with an orange mohawk.
"Are they fighting?" she wondered, narrowing her eyes as the woman sported a reluctant look. Meanwhile, the man with an orange mohawk was yelling at her. When the woman sighed, she glanced at Heaven and Axel's car before she mustered her courage to go back to the car Heaven crashed into earlier.
"What are they doing?" murmured Heaven, making Axel look ahead to see what was happening.
The woman ran toward the car, searching for something in the backseat. Deep lines appeared between Axel's brows, and his eyes soon dilated upon hearing the man's muffled shouts.
"Get down there! If you don't want the world to see you that night!!" the man with an orange mohawk continuously yelled the same thing, making Heaven furrow her brows upon getting a grasp of his remarks.
"What is he saying?" she whispered, casting Axel a look. Much to her dismay, Axel's expression turned pale with wide eyes full of fear.
"Axel…" Heaven called under her breath, making Axel slowly turn his head to her. "... what else did they do that night?"
When his face crumpled slightly as a thin layer of tears coated his reddening eyes, Heaven immediately knew he didn't tell her everything.
"Sis…" Axel almost choked on his own breathing, clasping his trembling eyes. "... what should I do? I'm done for."
