[Bonus chapter]So much work to do
Meanwhile…2
Heaven was deep in thought, sitting in the back seat as she couldn't get rid of Primo out of her mind. But unlike Primo, who had a tinge of lust at the thought of her, Heaven's thoughts were different. Her sharp expression said it all.
If Bear was here, she was certain he would understand something was off.
Heaven glanced at the driver's seat, catching her bodyguard glancing at the rear mirror. Seeing how frequently he was checking the rear mirror, Heaven looked back. As soon as she did, she saw a red sedan beaming at them.
'This man…' Heaven peeled her eyes away from behind, leaning back comfortably. "Don't bother."
"Madam?"
"I said don't bother." Heaven snapped her eyes to the window, keeping herself calm and collected. "That car behind us lives in the same place. He's around the 60th floor, so don't bother. They aren't following us."
The driver glanced at the rear mirror, a bit surprised that the madam noticed the car behind them. Ever since Bear went on vacation leave, he had been in charge of the madam's safety. This was the first time she went out on her own without Sebastian or Axel, though. In other words, the bodyguard hadn't noticed any difference from the madam.
This was the first.
Even so, the driver didn't pry because that wasn't part of his job. Therefore, he kept driving within the normal speed limit but would still constantly check the car tailing them. She might've told him not to bother, but he still had to make sure.
"Do you have any idea when will the old guy return?" After some time, Heaven's voice pierced through the dead inbound breeze.
"Presumably, in two days."
"Two days, huh?" Heaven murmured, cupping her jaw as she hummed a long tune. "He should return earlier."
The driver only glanced at Heaven through the rear mirror but said nothing. Meanwhile, Heaven also kept silent as she pondered about the situation.

Just as Heaven said, the red sedan's destination was the apartment building. They only got rid of them because Heaven lived in the penthouse, and thus, she had a different parking space.
"Just carry my things to the penthouse. I'm dropping by in Axel's place." Heaven prepared herself to leave as the vehicle slowed down. She didn't say anything after that as she stepped outside, not even casting her new bodyguard one last look.
The driver only watched her walk away, approaching the elevator in the parking space. A shallow breath slipped past his lips, thinking Heaven didn't like him that much. Or maybe she was treating him the same way she would treat Bear. The bodyguard didn't know, since he had never seen her interactions with Bear.
"I guess the old man…" the driver trailed off when he caught a red sedan from the rear mirror. The red sedan didn't completely enter the exclusive parking space, but someone got off from the backseat.
The driver narrowed his eyes as he watched the man trudge toward the elevator. Heaven just got inside the lift and the man was approaching.
"Who…" The bodyguard's instinct was to get off and stop the man from entering the same lift. However, he barely unbuckled his seat when the door of the elevator shut closed.
The other man who was trying to get in didn't succeed. He only stood outside the lift, staring at it, but the driver couldn't see what sort of face he was making.
"That man… is he a stalker?" the bodyguard frowned at the thought. "I should tell the master about it."

"That bastard…" Heaven hissed as she glared at the poor elevator door. "I knew he would follow."
Fortunately, Heaven pressed the closed button while getting inside the lift. Or else Primo could've gotten inside. Who knew what would happen if there were only two of them inside this small enclosed space? Not that she was scared of a confrontation, but Heaven needed time to consider her options.
'Did he approach Paula to get to me?' she wondered, considering Primo lived in the same building. 'This isn't a coincidence.'
And Heaven would offer her arm if her instincts were wrong.
"Why, me?" she whispered, pondering about it. There were only a few reasons she would catch a person's eyes like Primo.
The first on the list was that Primo was truly a fan. A fan who could quite get access to where she was and perhaps stalk her closely. Like paparazzi, but worse. Second was that Primo had his eyes on Heaven even before Heaven knew about his existence. Lastly, it could be both.
"Ugh…" Heaven massaged her nape as she realized she still had work to do. "I just can't seem to stop these things since Andrea Ng's incident…"
Heaven trailed off as she arched a brow. "Right. Andrea Ng." She rocked her head in understanding.
"I almost forgot about her."
The past several days were idle times with Axel and Sebastian until she got a call from the set. Heaven hadn't visited the prison to check on Andrea and get a sketch of the person the latter was talking about.
"I guess I'll have to visit without Bear." She shrugged, watching the numbers above the door light up one after another. "Just what is that old man doing? I hope he isn't crying just because it was my death week."
DING!
The elevator stopped on the floor where Axel lived. She wasn't sure if he was here since he was usually in the penthouse, but she still wanted to try. Heaven went directly to his place, ringing the door once, and waited.
DING DONG!
"I guess he is in the penthouse." A deep exhale slipped past her lips, about to turn around, only to hear the door unlocking from the inside. When she looked back to see who opened the door, a look of surprise turned up on her face.
"Bear?" Her eyes lit up while Bear furrowed his brows. "What are you doing here?"
"Uh… well…" Bear cleared his throat, evidently reluctant to be here as well. "The second young master dragged me here."
"Drag you… why?" Heaven cocked her head to the side, only to see Bear sigh in distress.
