"Basti!" Just then, Heaven's voice echoed in the master's bedroom. When Dominic looked back, all he saw was Heaven marching inside and Axel following behind her.  0

"My god! Basti, you made us all worried!" Heaven gasped as soon as she jumped on the bed. "Why didn't you tell your uncle you're going here?"

Sebastian maintained an adorable and innocent smile. "Sorry, Mommy. It's just that I felt sleepy, but Uncle is reading super loud! I didn't mean to worry Mommy, and I did plan to come back, but this bed is very soft."

Dominic listened to how his son apologized and explained his side to his mother. However, he couldn't shrug off this restlessness in his heart. Something was definitely off, and Dominic was right because Sebastian's next words killed all the expressions on his face. 

"Mommy, I like this bed. Can I sleep here tonight?" Sebastian flashed his mother the sweetest smile, making Heaven's breath hitch at his level of cuteness. 

"Of course!" Heaven answered even before she could think about it, turning to Dominic with a pleading countenance. "That's okay with you, right, Dom?"

No, it wasn't.

Dominic's answer was obvious on his face, but his son and wife looked at him with anticipation. 'This is how he gets revenge…'he thought, glancing at Sebastian, only to see the momentary smirk on that little boy's face.

'Sometimes… Basti scares me,' he admitted in his heart, forcing a smile on his face as he faced Heaven. "Of course."

"Yey!" Heaven clapped in excitement, grinning at Sebastian. "Should we buy matching pajamas?"

"Huh?" Sebastian tilted his head to the side, and even Dominic was a bit puzzled at her suggestion. "Mommy, I have pajamas."

"Haha! I know! But now that I think about it, this is our first slumber party!" Heaven clasped her hands together, forgetting her worry just a moment ago with the thought that Sebastian left on his own again. 

"I've always dreamed of having a slumber party with my husband and son!" Her lips stretched even wider, thinking tonight was a good time for the three of them to bond. 

Even though there was an existing threat outside, Heaven thought it would be best to still enjoy their time. She didn't want any threat to instill fear in her husband's heart — especially in Sebastian's heart. Therefore, after Sebastian's idea, this suddenly crossed her mind. 

Things would still be the same whether or not they worry too much about the person who was challenging Dominic and the LYON Group.

"Uh…" Dominic and Sebastian looked at each other and then back to Heaven, asking in unison, "What's that got to do with matching pajamas?"

"Gosh… you two…" Heaven sighed, shaking her head helplessly. "You two are so clueless. But anyway, don't worry! Tonight's slumber party is already set!"

"..." Sebastian and Dominic looked at her strangely. 

Meanwhile, Axel watched all this unfold right before his eyes. He darted his eyes between the family of three, standing a few steps from the bed.

"How about me?" Axel pointed at himself, watching the three look in his direction as if they completely forgot about his existence. "Am I going to have a pair too?"

"Uh… about that…" Heaven trailed off when Sebastian and Dominic spoke at the same time. 

"No."

Axel frowned almost instantly, shifting his focus to Heaven while pointing at the two. "Sis! Look at them! They're hurting my feelings again!" 

"..." Heaven pressed her lips into a thin line, feeling a bit sorry for Axel, for not feeling sincerely sorry. 

"Uncle, I'm sure my mommy likes you so much, but you're here every day. Can't you let us have some time as a family?" Sebastian frowned, clasping the hem of Heaven's shirt. "Just join us next time. You always spend time with my mommy since my daddy and I are busy."

"That's right, Axel. This party is for the three of us only." Dominic nodded as he already got Sebastian to worry about. "Give this day to us."

"You two…" Axel pouted, looking at Heaven as if asking for her help.

"You can help me buy the pajamas?" Heaven suggested, making his frown deepen. "I'll buy you a pair for next time, okay?"

"Promise?" Axel narrowed his eyes, ignoring the glares from his brother and nephew. 

"Promise." Heaven smiled before peeling her eyes from him. "Anyway, Axel and I will go to the department store —"

"I can come with you." Dominic didn't let her finish her sentence. "Let's leave Basti in Axel's care."

"I'm coming if Daddy is coming." Sebastian blinked innocently, using his charms to make her agree. 

Another shallow breath slipped past Heaven's lips, darting her eyes between Dominic and Sebastian. If Dominic would come with her, she could already imagine the countless bodyguards tailing them. She couldn't bring Sebastian for the same reason. 

Unless the threat was dealt with, their movements would be restricted. Moreover, they were just buying a few pairs of pajamas! She didn't want the attention they would garner with all those bodyguards with them. 

'Also, I want to go out for a reason,' she thought, thinking she wouldn't be able to run a quick errand if her son and husband were with her. But Axel… he knew a side of her that these two didn't. Axel was also the perfect excuse and witness to an alibi. 

"How about you two prepare the entertainment room?" Heaven suggested with a smile. "Axel and I will go to the department store while you two prepare for the slumber party?"

Reluctance shone in Dominic and Sebastian's eyes, obviously against the idea. 

"Heaven, I just told you…"

"I know, Love." Heaven reached for Dominic's hand while speaking in a persuading tone. "But Bear is with me. Axel too. The department store is just nearby, so I think it's fairly safe."

Despite her explanation, Dominic was still reluctant. Sebastian, on the other hand, studied his mother's side profile. 

"It's okay!" Suddenly, Sebastian had a change of mood, jumping to Dominic's side to hug his father's arm. "Mommy and Uncle can go while Daddy and Basti will prepare the theater room!" 

Both Heaven and Dominic, even Axel, raised their brows at the little master. 

"Don't worry about us anymore, Mommy!" Sebastian grinned, pushing his mother's leg a bit. "Go and save the world. I will keep Daddy busy!"
