"CUT!!" Leo flinched when he heard the director's thunderous voice through the microphone. "Heaven, what are you doing!?"

Leo thought he was the reason Director Guan cut the scene, gazing down at Heaven. The moment his eyes fell on her, all he saw was the aghast look on her face. 

"Heaven?" called Leo, furrowing his brows. "What... what's wrong?"

"Uh."

"Heaven!" Director Guan's ear-piercing yell thundered once again. "Why are you --"

Director Guan nearly bit his tongue when he turned his head on instinct, gasping in horror upon seeing a familiar figure in the room. Just then, the assistant director reached Director Guan's vantage point. However, the assistant director was a second late since Director Guan already saw Dominic across the room.

"Director Guan, CEO Zhu is here."

"I know!!" Director Guan whisper-yelled, grinding his teeth like a rabid dog, which made the assistant director flinch. "Why are you just saying it now?!"

"I'm sorry, but CEO Zhu said not to interrupt everyone."

"Damn it!" Director Guan hissed, picking up his microphone. "Take a five-minute rest, everyone! We're going to retake that last part. Heaven! Don't mess it up this time, do you hear me?!"

"Uh..." Heaven sported a conflicted look, glancing at the director. 

Director Guan already jumped from his seat and rushed to Dominic. His aggressive mood almost changed in a snap, rubbing his palms together as he stepped foot in Dominic's vicinity. 

"Mr. Zhu, what a surprise! You didn't tell me that you'd be dropping by today!" Even Director Guan's tone changed into something sweet which no one heard in the past. 

Dominic simply glanced at the director with nonchalance. "I didn't come here for you."

"Ah. Hehe. Is that so?" Director Guan chuckled nervously. "Did you come here to see the progress of the film, then? Well, as you can see —"

"Do you always scold your actors like that?"

"Ah?" Director Guan blinked, processing Dominic's question just to make sure he heard him correctly so he could answer him properly. When he ascertain he heard Dominic correctly, Director Guan grinned. "Of course not! I only yell to motivate them so they won't make mistakes! But that was a rare occasion! Our actors are great and the best of the best! I don't scold them that much since they usually do a good job."

Dominic's poker face didn't change, mentally counting how many times Heaven told him she got scolded by this man. Meanwhile, Director Guan continuously explained his side, adding his praises to the production and progress of the film. 

"Who is he?" As Director Guan shamelessly curry favor from Dominic as if he had forgotten all his principles, very few in the production team were intrigued. 

"You don't know him?" another staff whispered in surprise. "How long have you been in this industry? No. Even if you don't work in this industry, people know that man!"

"Oh?"

Another staff sighed. "That's Dominic Zhu, the CEO of LYON Group. Zyon Network is one of his subsidiaries and also the biggest investor in this movie!"

"What? That's Dominic Zhu? Didn't they say he is an old man?"

"Just what source are you getting this information?"

"Wait. Why is he here?" another one wondered. "Is it because there's been a problem with Paula Shen and the production?"

"So the rumors are true?"

"Oh, my god..." someone gasped in disbelief, covering their wide mouths. "I thought she was dating this rising businessman, but it seemed the denial of the article is true. Gosh. Was he angry that such rumors resurfaced about his secret woman?"

"Secret?" another staff scoffed in ridicule. "Paula Shen, especially her manager, never failed to brag about her relationship with the Zhu at every turn. What's the secret to that?"

"Well, that sucks."

The production staff continued to gossip like buzzing bees. Some of them fixed the lighting or anything that didn't look nice on the screens, while others went to the actors to retouch their prosthetics. They were trying to be discreet about it, but it still reached Heaven's ears. 

"Are you okay?" Leo's voice brought Heaven back from her trance.

"Huh?"

"You seemed... a little weird," he pointed out, getting rid of any silly conclusion for her reaction. If he didn't argue with Heaven, he would surely jump to a conclusion. 

"Who wouldn't be surprised?" Heaven murmured, casting the makeup artist around them. "Right? It's shocking that Dominic Zhu is in the set today."

"Yes." The one doing Heaven's makeup nodded. "Even Director Guan was caught off guard. I wonder why such a legend is here."

The makeup artist looked at Heaven in intrigue, leaning forward with twinkling eyes. "Miss Liu, is it true?"

"True, what?" Heaven drew her head back, arching a brow at the person who had been doing her prosthetics which she befriended. 

"The rumors..." the other lady cast Heaven a knowing look. "That Miss Shen is CEO Zhu's secret woman."

"..." Heaven blinked, darting her eyes between the two of them. 'Their questions sound so annoying, even though I already know the truth. Can't they just retouch our wounds instead of gossiping?'

Normally, Heaven wouldn't mind gossiping with them. After all, gossiping with these people was not only entertaining, but sometimes they knew things others don't. For example, some actors' personal lives. 

"Girls, I don't think this is appropriate." This time, Leo, who was ignored, chimed in. "Miss Shen and Miss Liu were friends. Considering Miss Liu was a loyal friend, I don't think she will willingly say something about her friend."

"Ohh…"

"Sorry, girls. It's not that I don't trust you, but I'm not in the place to clarify this rumor." Heaven sported a smile, receiving an understanding smile from the two.

"It's alright, Miss Liu. We understand that."

"That's right. If anything, we should apologize for putting you in a difficult position."

"It's fine." Heaven let out a chuckle. "Anyway, please finish our makeup. I'm afraid Director Guan will scold us."

"Yes~!"

With that being said, the two makeup artists retouched their prosthetics. The other one added fake blood inside Leo's fake wound. As the two busied themselves, Heaven and Leo looked at each other. However, she immediately moved her gaze to where her husband was.

Dominic was still standing in the same spot while Director Guan was saying something. It didn't seem he was listening, though. Dominic just kept his lips shut, eyes in her direction. 

'Huhu!' Heaven wept internally, looking away from her husband. 'Did I do something wrong? I didn't pull any tricks earlier, right?'

Everyone felt uneasy with Dominic around and questioned their past actions.
