[Bonus chapter] No rush
The lunch continued on in peace. As they all ate everything on their plate and were now enjoying their dessert, Heaven excused herself for the bathroom. The people at the same table smiled and nodded in understanding, resuming their conversations, or rather, the argument they were having with the Zhu brothers.
As Heaven headed toward the nearest bathroom, she glanced in Bear's direction. The latter was still standing in his post, but seeing that Heaven walked away from the table, his eyes followed her figure. Seeing that look on her face, Bear cleared his throat.
"She's calling for us," he said to his partner for the day.
"Huh?" Tiger tilted his head to the side. "Who?"
"The young madam."
Tiger furrowed his brows, moving his gaze around. From the corner, he caught Heaven going to the bathroom.
"How did you know she's calling for us?" he asked because all he saw was Heaven's back as she entered the comfort room.
"I just know." Bear pushed Tiger's back slightly. "Let's go."
"Eh?" Tiger looked at his partner in dismay, scratching the back of his head. "Fine. Damn it."
Tiger dragged his feet toward the direction where Heaven went to. Following a step behind him was Bear. He glanced over his shoulder to see the old man maintaining a step distance from him.
"Oy, Bear, tell me." Tiger set his eyes ahead. "You're just using me, so even if our boss sees you following her in the bathroom, they won't say anything, right?"
Right.
But Bear didn't answer.
"Damn... don't tell me you're having a relationship with her?" asked Tiger once again, only to feel this explosive menacing aura from behind him. "Fine, fine. That's fucking ridiculous. If she's going to cheat Dominic Zhu, she might as well choose someone better than him. Else, everything else is a downgrade."
"I'll pretend I never heard anything," Bear remarked monotonously, looking over Tiger's head as he was taller than the guy walking in front of him.
It didn't take long when the two reached where Heaven went to. They halted as soon as they made a turn, seeing that Heaven was simply leaning against the wall. She had her arms folded under her chest, staring at the bottom of the wall in front of her, deep in thought.
"Bo — " Bear cleared his throat, correcting himself. "Young Madam, you called for us?"
"Kaiden Wang," Heaven's voice was low, but it was loud and clear. "I want to know everything about that guy, Tiger."
"Huh?" Tiger blinked, pointing at himself, and then cast Bear a look.
Deep lines appeared between Bear's forehead as he repeated her remarks in his mind. Did she really ask Tiger to do an errand for her?
Why?
"Did you hear me?" Heaven peeled her eyes from the wall ever so tenderly, setting them on Tiger. "Tiger?"
"Uh... yes." Tiger scratched his temple with his pinky, baffled. "Kaiden Wang... isn't that one of the people with you?"
"Yes." Heaven rocked her head. "They were talking about venturing into diamond mining. Kaiden Wang's family had been in the business, but I wonder who are the people he's in contact with within the industry."
"Oh..." Tiger licked his lips as he pondered for a second. "Can't you just ask him?"
"I can, but then, I don't need you anymore."
"..."
"I just want to know things he hadn't said yet." Heaven shrugged, peeling her back from the wall. "Any new information is fine. No pressure."
Tiger snapped his pair of lazy eyes back to Heaven before he reluctantly nodded. "Fine. Though I'm not into this type of thing."
"That's fine." Heaven waved dismissively. "Anyway, Bear, can you do research for me?"
"About what?"
"About the diamond business."
"Oh." Bear nodded in understanding. "Okay."
"Thanks."
With that being said, Heaven marched toward the restroom, leaving the two alone.
"How strange…" mumbled Tiger, gazing at the shut door of the female's restroom. "Bear, is she always like that?"
"No." Bear's answer was quick, still baffled as to why Heaven gave such an order to Tiger.
It wasn't the order that was strange, per se. To be honest, it was normal for her to ask her people to dig some dirt or anything regarding someone. However, Hera was now Heaven Liu. In other words, she was only like this to Bear, or she would do it herself.
Why did she ask Tiger to do such a thing?
"Well, I guess that's all." A sigh slipped past Bear, casting Tiger a look of nonchalance. "Just do what you were told to do. Show off a bit. Maybe she'll find you favorable and raise your salary."
"Hmm… well, she said anything is fine." Tiger shrugged, turning on his heel to guard the way to make it appear they were simply guarding the restroom. "I don't think she's expecting anything from me."
"Not expecting anything from you…" Bear also spun around, standing beside Tiger. "It did sound like she's not pressuring you."
Tiger shrugged, not dwelling on the matter anymore. He didn't want to think further into this, or rather, he was lazy to think further. But his remarks did leave some clues for Bear.
'She noticed,' Bear thought, glancing back to the way of the restroom. 'I thought she didn't, but I guess not because she's not saying anything, doesn't mean she's not noticing the little things.'
Bear couldn't help but heave a sigh of relief, thinking that Heaven didn't grow as complacent as he assumed. Although she hadn't honed her skills in the past months, this showed she still observed the people around her.
'Now… I wonder what's on her mind now?'Bear wondered to himself, assuming Heaven gave that order to Tiger to keep the man occupied. And for her to keep him occupied, she was probably up to something. 'Diamonds, huh?'
Bear drew a deep breath as he thought about that type of business. It was no secret Hera also had collections of gems. However, Hera didn't like them as much as it appeared. If anything, she had this passionate hatred towards gems, diamonds, specifically.
Why?
Because diamonds killed Felice, Hera's mother.
'It seemed Dominic Zhu is showing interest in it.'another sigh slipped past Bear, thinking of what was happening in his boss's mind right now. 'She'll be surely against it.'

Heaven didn't talk to Bear or Tiger even after using the restroom. She acted as if there wasn't even a previous conversation to discuss with them, heading back to the table where her husband and brother-in-law were.
But the moment she rejoined them, she heard Axel say;
"Alright! I'm betting." Axel slapped the edge of the table, making her slow down in her tracks. "My sis will do it for me! If my sis hit three bull's eyes, you're going to admit you were wrong!"
Huh?
Heaven furrowed her brows as she stepped foot in the table's vicinity, warranting everyone's gazes.
"Sis, William and Jeremy are bullying me and my brother!" Axel complained with a deep frown. "They want us to do some betting. Please! Let's take all their money!"
"??"
'I wasn't even away for five minutes,' she told herself helplessly, recalling when she excused herself, her husband and Axel were arguing with William and Jeremy about something petty. 'Goodness. I thought he forgot, but it seemed he wanted to show off.'0
"If Heaven is fine with it, then Ivy, do you want to do it for us?" William turned to Ivy Wei, wiggling his brows. "We'll split the earnings."
"Hey! Don't talk as if you already won!" Axel harrumphed while Heaven's expression completely died.
"I didn't even say yes yet..." She glanced at Dominic, hoping he would intervene. However, the second her eyes fell on her husband, Heaven caught how his expression darkened at William's remark.
'My husband… don't tell me you're with Axel too?!'
Great.
Heaven didn't want to compete with someone, especially in these sorts of things. She didn't need to prove herself, after all. However, for some reason, she ended up agreeing just because Axel was on the brink of erupting from anger. Surely, this brother-in-law only knew how to find trouble for Heaven to fix.
