Sex was inevitable in marriage
"Didn't you agree to keep an open mind? As husband and wife, sleeping in separate rooms is weird. That is why I thought I should stay in your room from now on! That's okay, right?"0
No. It wasn't.
Just as Dominic's lips parted, Heaven patted his biceps and spoke. "Thanks. I'll go wash up." And then happily walked past him, shutting the door immediately as if she refused to hear his response.
Dominic looked back at the door in disbelief. He fixed his eyes on it until he heard the shower, confirming he wasn't just hallucinating.
'Stay in my room from now on?' he wondered, and then frowned. 'I wonder what she meant by that.'
Everything she said was clear, and she made sure of that. But somehow, he didn't understand it. Or rather, it was too hard to believe. Them? Sharing a room? Because having separate rooms was weird?
Who was the person who proposed to sleep separately? Heaven. How dare she say it was weird when it was her idea?
Dominic shook his head, drying his hair with a small towel as he marched to the other door where his closet was. He didn't dwell on Heaven's ridiculous idea, thinking she probably wanted to try to stay with him just to get used to him for a little while. He changed into a casual shirt and pajamas and then returned to his room.
When he returned to his bedroom, the shower was still running. He folded his arms under his chest, leaning against the jamb, feet crossed.
"Did she really mean to stay here?" he wondered, trying to accept reality. "No. Don't jump to conclusions. I don't think that's what she means."

Meanwhile, when Heaven got inside the bathroom, she realized there were no toiletries for her. Everything from shampoo, body wash, and everything was for men. If she didn't know, she would think Dominic was not a married man. Fortunately, she wasn't picky and didn't mind using his things.
'This smells just like him.' She sniffed on the body wash and giggled. 'Hehe. What an enticing scent.'
Dominic had this pleasant smell that wasn't too strong for her nose. Heaven had a sensitive nose ever since she was a child, and this had become a skill as she honed it growing up. There were times just someone's scent would put her in a terrible mood. That was why his scent was the first thing she noticed.
Heaven used her precious time to clean her body thoroughly, as it was her first night with him.
'In case something happens,' she thought, giggling mischievously.
When a man and a woman were inside one room, anything could happen. Heaven wasn't so innocent and naive as to not consider a man's needs. Sex was inevitable in marriage and she had to be prepared for it at all times. Even though Heaven and Dominic only did it once and resulted in a child, with the current changes, he might have thoughts.
"La la la~" Heaven hummed happily, already satisfied she got herself in his room and now showering in his bathroom.
When she finished, Heaven wrapped her petite body with a robe and then went out just in it. She deliberately didn't bring her clothes to tease him, but as soon as she got out of the bathroom, the bedroom was empty.
"Huh?" she looked around the dim bedroom. "Where did he go?"
Her lips curved down, marched to the armchair, and plopped her butt down on it. She crossed her arm, wondering where her husband went.
'Maybe he went to get a glass of water?' she guessed, resting her leg over the other that showed her smooth thigh. 'Or he went to grab something to eat?'
Since the original Heaven wasn't interested in her husband, she didn't know Dominic's daily habits. They rarely see each other, even if they lived in the same house. Thus, she could only make guesses about where Dominic went.
'I don't want to go out and check.' Her frown deepened. 'I don't want to push my luck.'
With that thought in mind, Heaven waited for him patiently. She didn't even dry her hair, thinking it would be better if she welcomed him back in a robe. But sadly, it had been thirty minutes since she finished showering.
"Just where the hell did he go?" Heaven grumpily kicked her feet, glaring daggers at the door. "Don't tell me he went to the other room to sleep?"
Heaven clicked her tongue in irritation before jumping out off the couch. She stomped her feet toward the door, ready to turn the whole mansion upside down to find Dominic. She didn't need to, though, because as soon as she opened the door, the man was already standing outside.
Dominic seemed he was reaching for the knob, but it already flew open from the inside before he did. His eyes slowly lifted to the woman inside, and then his gaze fell on her slightly exposed upper chest. He didn't ogle on it as he immediately lifted his eyes to meet her eyes.
"You're still here?" he asked.
"W — why?" she stuttered, trying to recompose herself. Her irritation immediately disappeared at the sight of him. "Didn't I say I will stay with you from now on?"
"From now on?"
"Mhm! I'll bring my toiletries and clothes tomorrow. Good thing there was a spare toothbrush, so I used it."
Dominic didn't say anything, standing still because she was blocking the path. "Go get change."
"What?"
"Go back to your room and change. It's not good to stay in a bathrobe for long."
"Ah… that's what you mean." Heaven rocked her head before her lips stretched to a wide grin. "No need. I'll just borrow your clothes — that's okay?"
No.
"Are you afraid I'd lock the door and won't let you in?"
"Yes!" Heaven didn't take a second to answer. "Anyway, don't go anywhere again. I'll be back quickly!"
With that being said, Heaven ran toward the walk-in closet while Dominic stayed outside the door. His gaze followed her figure, breathing out heavily.
'So I wasn't hallucinating when she said she wants to stay here, huh?'
