Axel stayed for a while, out of habit. In the past, he would stay in his brother's place to look after Sebastian. It was how he figured out that Dominic and Heaven's relationship wasn't normal, and how he found out how neglectful she was to her family.  0

But staying with them today felt weird. Not only he felt like fourth wheeling and out of place, he felt like Dominic and Sebastian were using every bit of his existence to impress Heaven. It was almost like they were indirectly telling him to leave already, as if he was disturbing their family time.

Since when did they have family time?!

"Mommy, how come you know this?" Sebastian blinked, sitting in an angel seat while Heaven was helping him with his homework in the family room.
