Leave everything to fate.

"Hello there, second young master! It's been a while! Are you going to sign up for the next event?"0

As soon as Axel heard Moose's familiar voice, his breath hitched. Little did he know, Heaven caught Axel's initial reaction at the sight of Moose, making her exude a darker aura.

'Moose…' Heaven slowly set her eyes on Moose, marching in his direction until she stopped in front of him. '... you know there is always a line you must never overstep.'

"Huh?" Moose slowly lifted his gaze at the beauty in front of him. His mouth fell open a little, bedazzled that this woman was much more beautiful up close. "Miss, have we met before? You look familiar — woah!"

Heaven suddenly grabbed his collar and pulled him up slightly. "Who are they, Mr. M?"

"Woah, woah. Wait a minute, Miss." Moose raised his hands to the side as a gesture of surrender. "My motto in life is if we can settle things in a proper talk, let's talk first. Please don't resort to violence."

"Bear, crush this man's head." Heaven hissed, not even blinking as gave out a violent order.

"What?" Moose's face went blank, moving his gaze to the person standing a few meters from them. Bear was still standing in his spot, but upon Heaven's orders, he opened and closed his hand as if he was exercising it before he crush his skull.

'Oy, oy. Aren't we friends?'Moose gasped, looking back at Heaven.

"Mi — miss, wait, I don't quite understand this aggressiveness." Moose laughed nervously. "It's a little heartless for you to hurt others without any context!"

"Mr. M, you know why I am here." Heaven lowered her head until her face was a palm-length away from his. "You let violence ensue in your race. I don't care if that is a normal thing, but you messed with the wrong Zhu. Now, I am giving you a chance. Who are these people, Moose?"

Moose's pupils went wide upon hearing his name from her lips. "You… how did you…"

"Where are those people?" she repeated aggressively, tightening her grip on his collar. "I need answers, not questions. No more last chances."

His mouth opened and closed like a fish, taken aback at the devious woman mirroring his eyes.

'No wonder,' he thought, staring into the fire burning in the woman's eyes. 'No wonder he said this woman reminds him of her. Damn… they both turn me on the same way.'

"Fine." Moose sighed in surrender. "I'll tell you, but can you please calm down? I'm getting a boner here."

Bear and Axel's expressions turned dark while Heaven didn't seem to care. She let him go, watching Moose fix his crumpled shirt.

"Are you looking for those guys who beat up the second young master?" Moose languidly checked his jacket, taking out a pack of crumpled cigarettes and a lighter. He took his time taking out a stick of cigarette, clipping it in between his lips, and lighting it up.

Moose took a long drag, pulling out the cigarette as he leaned back and puffed the smoke out of his mouth. "Well, I got good news and bad news for you. Which one do you want to hear first?"

"Depends on which eye you want to lose first."

"Hehe. Come on, Miss. Don't be like that." Moose laughed. "Unfortunately, I only arrange the race. I choose the location and set things up. My people will spread the word. In other words, I don't know where they were, nor do I have the power to boss them around. I only get a percentage from these events and the players win the prize money. I earn, they earn. It's all business, nothing personal."

He shrugged. "But the good thing is, those guys were regulars. If they hear how much the prize money is, they'd surely be present."

"You are saying?" Heaven arched a brow, witnessing the smirk on his face appeared.

"I have an event later. Though I am not sure if they will come, since the money isn't that much." Moose cocked his head to the side. "I can make a last call, though, saying that there's an increase in the prize money. If the price is right, they will surely rev up their cars just to be there."

Heaven blinked ever so tenderly, studying Moose as the latter drag the cigarette. "Sign them up." She tipped her head in Axel and Bear's direction.

"Send the location. I'll write you the cheque later," she added, making Moose grin.

"But Miss Zhu, you're not planning on taking the police, right? That will be a problem."

"It didn't even cross me." Heaven straightened her back while maintaining eye contact with him. "Though I might if you give me enough reason to."

"Well, that's great, Miss Zhu!" Moose chuckled, casting Axel a knowing look. "Are they the only ones I will sign up? Just the two of them? Don't you want to join?"

"I'll be a passenger."

"Sweet. I think I'm falling."

"I will hand you the cheque later once I am sure they are there." Heaven ignored his nonsense. "Otherwise, it's a no deal."

"But isn't that unfair?"

"Not my problem."

"Haha. Miss Zhu, I don't think you know how these works —"

"I assure you I know more than you can think of." Heaven bent over, planting her hand on the table, eyes on him. "It's your fault you got to meet me, Mr. M. Now, make sure those guys will be there and we will not have a problem."

Moose let out a dry laugh. "Does that mean I don't get any reassurance?"

"Leave everything to fate." Heaven pushed herself away. "I'll see you later."

With that being said, Heaven turned on her heel and walked away. She didn't even stop as she walked past Axel and Bear.

"Uhh… wait." Axel turned his head to Heaven before he jogged his way to follow her.

Meanwhile, Bear stayed in his spot for a moment.

"Bear, what the fuck? Why did you bring that woman here?" Moose hissed, only to receive Bear's cold reminders.

"I told you to stop these activities. You put this upon yourself." Bear looked at the man coldly. "Bring those guys if you don't want her wrath."

After saying his piece, Bear marched away to follow Heaven and Axel. Moose, who was left in the same spot, cocked his head to the side.

"How the hell would I know that —"

BOOGSH!

Moose flinched when the door suddenly collapsed from its hinges. His mouth fell open, rendered speechless by the damages Bear had left. Now Moose had to pay the owner for this!

Damn it!
