Chaoge was speechless.

The class president was on her team!

A student could earn a point when they obtained a crystal core from a Whiten Lion Elephant.

Feng Wu was in Team 001, and Lu Xiao was in Team 015.

"Jingyu, you're not in our team this time. I'm so sad," someone said mockingly as she walked past Feng Wu.

Feng Wu looked up.

The girl beamed at her. "I'm Pei Si. Would you like to join my team?"

Feng Wu frowned. There was something condescending about the girl's tone, which she didn't like.

"You don't want to? Miss President is going to get you killed. See you later."

Pei Si's four friends chuckled and dashed off.

"That stupid girl! How dare she act like she's better than us!" Mu Qianqian clenched her fists.

Feng Wu glanced at Zi Ling.

Zi Ling explained, "Class E has a ranking system. All the students are on it, and it's updated each month. Jingyu is currently the top student, and Pei Si is second."

She then lowered her voice. "Pei Si only joined the academy last year, but she's been making rapid progress. Jingyu feels threatened because Pei Si is also outgoing and likes to make friends."

Chaoge was glad to hear that.

Feng Wu knew what Sun Jingyu was doing. Someone higher up had probably given Sun Jingyu instructions, telling her to choose Feng Wu as a team member so as to plot against her later.

Sun Jingyu glared at Feng Wu. "Keep your friend on a leash!"

Feng Wu shrugged.

Sun Jingyu wanted to smack Feng Wu, but she had a mission, so she could only take a deep breath.
