Zuo Qingluan didn't know how to react to that.

She turned around and glared at Feng Wu.

Elder Wu didn't expect the new vice chief to lose her temper with a student.

By his standards, Zuo Qingluan indeed wasn't qualified for the job.

"The crown prince gave me the job! You can always complain to His Royal Highness." Zuo Qingluan smirked at Feng Wu.

The crown prince? Jun Linyuan?

Zuo Qingluan had just made a bold statement.

Jun Linyuan's name represented the ultimate authority.

No one would challenge his recommendation.

If he sent Zuo Qingluan here to be the vice chief, she was good enough for the job, no matter how little talent she had.

Therefore, even Elder Wu didn't have anything to complain about.

Even Elder Mei, who had ignored Zuo Qingluan until then, glanced at her.

Feng Wu snapped, "How can you be so shameless? Jun Linyuan is mine!"

Everybody fell silent when they heard what she said.

Zuo Qingluan glared at Feng Wu with eyes that could spit fire.

She wanted to skin Feng Wu alive.

Feng Wu couldn't believe she had said those words and wanted to slap herself.

"Oh my god… Why did I say that?" She was mortified.

Seeing that Zuo Qingluan was going to lose her temper again, Elder Wu said, "Silence! Stop this nonsense! It's so inappropriate!"

Chen Ziyun didn't mind being scolded since he was only a student.

However, Zuo Qingluan was a vice chief, and she considered herself to be in a prestigious position. She couldn't stand it when someone reprimanded her like that.

She had never felt so embarrassed before.

Her face went scarlet red.

Before she could react, Elder Mei took out a map he had drawn and handed it to Elder Wu. "I've explored this area already. Follow the map, but don't leave this area."

He drew a circle on the map.

The area was at least 10km in radius.
