Huo Jinyan was so affected by the phone call that he lost his appetite and put down his chopsticks altogether.

He glanced at his daughter and sighed in his heart.

They could not pretend that something did not exist simply by not talking about it.

After contemplating briefly, Huo Jinyan said, "Oh yes, Yao. Why don't you head right over to your third older brother's place after the exam results are out so that you can check out the city since you have nothing to do during your summer break?"

Although he was going to miss her, he felt uneasy about her staying at home, so he had to send his daughter away.
