Going to Xu residence!

Qin Yan calmed herself down and took a shower. She then did her night skincare routine before going to the bed.1

She had a habit of checking her phone before sleeping, so when she browsed the contents on the phone, she saw several missed calls from Xu Dong. He had also left her a message to call back whenever she was free.

'It seems like he has made a decision,' Qin Yan guessed.

She looked at the time and saw that it was already 10.30 pm. Seeing the time, she didn't find it appropriate to call back now and thus she left a message to Xu Dong that he could call whenever possible.

Just as she kept the phone on the side table, it rang. She saw that the call was from Xu Dong.

She picked it up when she heard from the other side, "Miss, I agree to your conditions. When can we meet?"

"Okay, I will meet you tomorrow evening. If you have any other requests, you can put them forward. As long as it is possible for me to fulfill them, I will try my best. I only want you to stay as the CEO," Qin Yan said calmly.

"Miss, can we meet at my residence? Actually my parents and my sister also want to meet you. So is it possible for you to come to my residence?" Xu Dong requested Qin Yan.

"Okay, no problem. Send me the address. I will be there by 4 pm," Qin Yan stated.

"Okay, thank you miss. See you tomorrow," Xu Dong bade goodbye to Qin Yan.

"See you tomorrow," Qin Yan hung up the call and fell into thought. Now that Xu Dong had agreed to her conditions, the next step was Xu Lei's surgery.

She could not say that she would do the surgery herself because if she said so, nobody would believe her. For this, she had spoken to Yun Jian about Doctor Lu Che the last time they met. She knew that other than her, the only one who could perform the surgery was Doctor Lu Che.

Now she had to contact Yun Jian and ask about the status of contacting Lu Che. But since, it was late now, she decided to leave it for the next day.

The next morning, Qin Yan called Yun Jian.

"Yan Yan, what's up?" Yun Jian seemed happy receiving her best friend's call.

A smile blossomed on Qin Yan's face, hearing her friend's happy voice, "Jian Jian, I wanted to ask you about Doctor Lu Che. Did you speak to him the last time I talked about it?"

"Oh yes, I contacted him that we would provide him the drug to do research. In turn he has to fulfill one of our requests. He has agreed to the terms and said that as long as it is nothing illegal, he can help us. Do you need him?" Yun Jian explained the situation to Qin Yan.

"Yes, I will need him in few days. Help me contact him," Qin Yan replied.

Father Xu, Mother Xu and Xu Lei were waiting for Qin Yan. Xu Dong had contacted them in the morning and told them that the lady was coming to their abode in the evening. He also told them that he had called her specially to discuss about Xu Lei's condition.

Xu Lei was feeling extremely nervous. Her palms were sweaty and she sat on the wheelchair uncomfortably.

Father Xu was pacing back and forth in the living room. Mother Xu was in the kitchen trying to prepare a good meal for the lady who had changed her son's life and the one in whose hands her daughter's fate belonged to.

Xu Dong descended down the stairs when he saw this scene in the living room.

He sighed, "Dad, why are you pacing back and forth. You will make Lei Lei dizzy," he said to Father Xu.

Father Xu immediately stopped in his tracks. Upon hearing Xu Dong, he took a glance at Xu Lei and saw that cold sweat had formed on her forehead. She looked pale and nervous. He then realised that other than them, the person who was most worried was none other than the patient Xu Lei.

Xu Lei felt a hope after talking to Xu Dong the other day. She didn't know why but she had a faith in the lady who brought their family out of abyss. It occurred to her that she could solve all their problems somehow. She had descended into their world like an angel and Xu Lei had started treating her as an idol.

It was just that Xu Lei felt extremely nervous as she feared that her hopes would come down crashing on her. There were many kinds of positive and negative thoughts on her mind fighting with each other.

Xu Dong strode towards his sister and stroked her hair, "Don't worry, everything will be fine."

Xu Lei gazed at her brother and upon seeing his clear eyes, her heart calmed down a bit. That's right, no matter what happened, her family was there for her. And what worse could happen! She was already in this state, everything could only turn out to be better now.

She nodded at Xu Dong and closed her eyes to calm herself down. Just as she closed her eyes, a car honk sounded outside the door. Her eyes snapped open and her nervousness increased.

Qin Yan stepped out of the taxi and looked around. It was a medium range society where the Xu house was situated in. In front of her was a double-storey house. She confirmed the location once again before walking towards the gate.

As she walked towards the gate, the gate of the house opened and a middle-aged couple came into her sight. Although their age was evident on their faces, it could be seen that both of them were very good looking.

The middle-aged man resembled Xu Dong clearly. Qin Yan guessed him to be Father Xu and the woman beside him was ought to be Mother Xu.

The Xu parents looked at the lady stroding towards them. She had an average looking face and they recognised her as they had seen her in the press conference.

They walked forward and welcomed Qin Yan, "Hello Miss, welcome welcome!" the Xu parents sounded enthusiastic.

Qin Yan nodded at them respectfully with a smile, "Greeting Mr and Mrs. Xu."

The three of them stepped inside the house and Qin Yan's eyes spotted Xu Dong and a frail looking lady in the wheelchair near him.

The lady had almond shaped eyes paired with a clear and spotless skin. Her face was small and exquisite. Although some dark circles were visible under her eyes which indicated her stress and exhaustion, she was still a beauty.

Her face resembled Mother Xu and Qin Yan knew that she was Xu Lei, the person in question today.

Qin Yan nodded at Xu Dong and greeted him. Xu Lei looked at Qin Yan with stars in her eyes. Finally her idol was here. Xu Lei's nervousness had vanished the instant her eyes fell on Qin Yan. Strangely Qin Yan's aura calmed her down and a trust was developed unknowingly between them.

All of them exchanged plesentaries after which the main topic of the day was put up.

"Miss, I am ready to accept all your conditions, but I need to know if you are sure that my sister can be treated," Xu Dong spoke his mind clearly. It was no use of talking in circles and this was not the time to think of anything like that.

"Mr. Xu, I have already told you that I will help your sister. Since I said so, you can trust me. But there is one more condition that I had not mentioned that day which I need to clarify now," Qin Yan put forward her thoughts.

The Xu family was not expecting this. They didn't know why Qin Yan added another condition to her offer and thus looked at each other. Xu Dong frowned but still continued, "I would like to hear the condition please before taking any decision," he told Qin Yan.

Qin Yan nodded, "Fair enough. My condition is that if I get Xu Lei treated, I want her to sign a 10 year contract with Starlight Entertainment. Of course, the pay and everything would be as per her capabilities and that of an A-list actor, but she cannot leave the company before 10 years. You do not need to worry about anything else, after all Mr. Xu will be the CEO and many matters would be decided by him. The contract would definitely be fair, I can assure you of that."

The Xu family was surprised at Qin Yan's offer. Although a ten year contract was like a lifetime contract for Xu Lei, as her value will degrade once she gets on age.
