Upon the mattress, the young lady lay with her hands crossed over her abdomen. She looked like she was peacefully asleep and there was even a faint smile at the ends of her lips, seeming to be having a nice dream. If one were to disregard her unusually pale complexion, they might really think that she was just sleeping.

Lou Jun Yao’s gaze turned dark as he walked over to the side of the bed. His footsteps were rather heavy but the young lady did not seem to have noticed anything.
